Stayed at this property for three nights four days during a hockey tournament and the staff were always super friendly and helpful. Anytime I was in the hallway I was greeted by a friendly staff member. The pool was warm and inviting, and the breakfast every morning was unreal. So many amazing options for every diet. This location is perfect for families as you are surrounded by many things to do. Conveniently located near several restaurants and shopping centres. I would definitely stay here again if I was in this area.

Overall had an alright stay, parking was extremely unpleasant as majority of the parking lot was full with work trucks and closed off to work equipment. The toilet in my room clogged twice and the second time I was given a plunger to deal with the situation myself. It seemed to be the only hotel available in the area. Would not recommend or stay again.

The location was great. Reception on arrival was not friendly and was rushed. It was not a great first impression. The pool area was small and there was not jacuzzi hot tub or sauna. This would have made it top notch. TVs need upgrading. There was only cable tv with few channels, no streaming, no Google Chromecast or screen sharing or options to purchase movies or sign into streaming apps. Basic washroom with no little luxurious like make-up remover wipes, q-tips, koosh or mouth wash. The toilet paper was too thin and not nice at all. Herbal tea options would have been nice instead of only orange pekoe. Porcelain mugs instead of throw away cups adds a more environmentally conscious touch. Even with only four floors the elevator was very slow. Breakfast could have used more options that were not meat related. Yogurt, granola and fruit, or steel cut oats with honey and cinnamon. Just a few ideas.

We had a fantastic stay at the holiday inn. The room was very clean and nice. The complimentary breakfast was great. The pool was a little small but great for the kids. We will definitely be coming back.

For the most expensive hotel in the area, I expected atleast the bare minimum. The neighbouring parking lot had flickering lights which made my room look like a night club dance floor in the night. It was unbearable. The hallways were extremely noisy and I could even hear my neighboring rooms talk. Poor sound isolation. The shower bathtub was brown stained and the caulking around the entire bathroom was brown and dirty, which gave the entire bathroom a dirty look which was contrary to the photos. There was a small fire on the upper floor from an oil spill from an hvac unit because guess what? The hotel had ongoing mechanical and roof reconstruction WHILE hosting guests. You could hear the roofers hammering nails starting at 9am. There was no evacuation plan from the staff and we couldnt even leave the parking lot because there was only one exit and the fire marshall blocked it. Please stay away from this hotel until major renovation is done to it.

Paid extra for suite with kitchen but the kitchen was unusable as it had no heat, and if the door was open the cold air poured into the rooms. The bathroom was awful with mold/mildew and dirt.

When we first checked we were told it was a non smoking room and we would be charged if it smelled like smoke... Get to the room and it reeks of smoke. No thanks. They did switch us rooms no problem. Our bathroom wall had a leak behind the toilet which put nasty water on the floors. The bathroom is also extremely small. Can't even open it shut the door if you sit on the toilet. Overall it was okay but needs maintenance. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay.

One of the worst stays I’ve ever had. Beds were awful. Bathroom was so small you have to stand beside the toilet to be able to close the door. The sheets had stains on them. Will not stay there again. For that price I expect a LOT better.

Really appreciated the late check out. All staff very good obviously well trained. Front desk, cleaners and kitchen. Only down sirle’s the USB charger in room 319!does not work so suggest check them all. Overall very enjoyable experience. thank yiu

The hotel itself had a few issues that influenced my review. 1) location; very busy noisy, 2) lack of parking space/uneven ground of lot - I was riding my motorcycle, and 3) the age of the building was showing everywhere. My little fridge was on its last leg, bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned before hand. I had an expensive King Suite. It was much too expensive for the room. The breakfast was decent. The coffee was tasty, but the staff made the stay enjoyable. They went above and beyond. They were surely the best part.

Only issue is the important pop vending machine did not work properly with debit cards….please fix for your guests…people don’t use cash anymore! Breakfast area is also a tad small….free hot coffee near lobby is good but please include free ice water too!
