Overall very satisfied. Pool was great

When i checked in, i was chargedca booking fee of $21.00. My price included taxes and fees! Im tired of these websites offering and pulling someone else. I called Expedia and they said it was applicable. The rooms floor was very dirty. Breakfast ok, but staff was great. Tried to leave tip for housekeeping and they left it. Facility should provide an envelope in room. Also a tip jar for breakfast worker. These people work hard and deserve tips. Pool was overrun with yong kids birthday party, pool floats everywhere, people smoking poolside. I felt fairly safe there as a solo female traveler.

Good - room was clean; breakfast biscuits; helpful staff Bad - Pool was closed; door to outside of room was heavily scratched and dirty; outdoor concerete walkways looked neglected or in disrepair. I'd look for other places to stay.

1st hotel we have stayed at on our 2 week road trip that had a pool deeper than 5ft. My teens loved it

After staying in a nearby hotel that advertises a pool but hasn't actually had it usable in over a year, I was glad to see a well-maintained pool. The property is well cared for, reasonably priced and in a convenient location. The breakfast was pretty mid; that's one thing they could improve on.

Staff was helpful and polite, slightly frustrating that guests are asked not to take their complimentary breakfast back to their rooms, but overall a good experience. The pool looked nice, though we unfortunately did not have an opportunity to use it ourselves- several other guests and their children seemed to greatly enjoy it.

Bathrooms are WAY TOO small. This is a motel, not a hotel. Pool looks nice, but was closed. Property design is too congested. Convenient to highway is excellent.

Great location, nice pool and very clean rooms and grounds. Unfortuntely it is a bit loud, thin walls and doors. We were on the first floor, next time we will request the 2nd floor.

The front desk staff was very friendly. My room was clean and easily accessible. As a female traveling alone, safety is important. I felt very safe at this hotel. The parking lot was very well lit. I will definitely consider staying here again. It was a great room for the price.

Dirty sticky floor and weird smell in the room

Will not stay here again. Bugs on the bed and the curtains. Broken toilet paper and towel holders.

Extremely FILTHY place. Moldy, Smell like smoke and pee everywhere in the room. Got sick from staying 1 night only.

Expedia claims that the price listed is “all fees included,” HOWEVER this hotel charges for a deposit. You will be charged a deposit when you arrive to your PAID in FULL room. Expedia also has a chat option that is COMPLETELY useless! Why have a “Chat” system when Expedia disables the Chat feature ????? How is that a chat if you can’t even type in what problem you are having? I only had two options to 1st click on the date of my stay, then click the property… then the chat program ends… no options, NOTHING! What is that? How is that helpful? Hotel- Rented and paid for a two queen size bed room for this hotel that was BEYOND GROSS: blood splatters on fitted bedding sheet, blood splatters on flat sheets, blood splatters on the white duvet as well as pics and rips on all bedding (top and bottom sheets, pillow cases). Mysterious stains on all the doors, floor, walls, light plates, filthy electrical outlets and air vents. A rainbow of stains on each and every towel, wash rags, and bonus for the dead bugs between the folds plus stains on the shower curtain. Broken pieces off AC unit, ripped up chairs, and cracked seats. Loose towel holder. Bugs on walls and bathtub. Filthy refrigerator with paint drips on the exterior along with food chunks, and flecks of something blue, streaks of various colors and a broken shelf on the inside. BEWARE of all the biohazard in this facility.

Blood on the sheets

DO NOT BOOK. Pictures are deceiving. The only well kept part of the whole hotel was the front desk/lobby area. Checked in on 3/30, room was filthy. Sheets smelled as if they had never been cleaned. Bugs (multiple kinds). Microwave had dried spilled contents in it. Shower had mold. Door on the inside of the room had dirt marks all over it with smeared contents. The a/c unit had dried sticky contents on it. Checked out shortly after check in. Save yourself the hassle and book somewhere else.

Was not the cleanest but everything worked as it should besides the microwave. The cleanliness was not good upon arrival.

We stayed here 2 nights as the location was convenient to the Bon Secour Wellness Arena and downtown. The room was adequate to sleep, clean and secure. The bed was very comfortable. However this Quality Inn & Suites reminded me of a Motel 6. There were obvious signs of age and upgrades needed, such as the shower curtain rod needs tightening. The shower faucet should be easier to work as we needed the staff to show us how. It was not a simple turn to the left or right. The bathroom door knob didn't snap closed without help. The ice machine, I'd never use. Lastly, why no doors to the sink area?

Beds were comfortable, quiet night, great breakfast. Will book this place again.

It's a place to sleep. . . convenient area. Hotel lacking updating in a while. Heating/Cooling system sounds like a jet engine each time it kicks on - waking you up every time. Will probably utilize a different facility next time I'm in the area.

The sheets did not look fresh and clean. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable!! We did not sleep well at all!!

Rushed to book this hotel due to a layover flight… Room quality felt a bit unsafe, with clear distress and patches on the door itself. That kind of thing is definitely not what I recognize under the Quality Inn brand in other parts of the country. There were other things too that seemed a bit odd… The bed was too small for the bed frame and clearly low-budget. Was more of a Motel vibe that was trying to grow into something better, but they haven’t started construction/renovations yet.

Checking in the lady was really rude

Very rude staff at check in I arrived early and asked if I could check in and just hang out by the pool until the room was ready and even though it was nearly 100 degrees outside she told me no so I guess she figured sitting in my car for 2 hours was ok I had worked 10 hours in Columbia and then drove to Greenville but yet the quality inn in West Columbia lets me check in early every week

Front desk clerk was delightful, professional, competent and kind. The yellow flower in her hair brought a sliver of happy before having to check my son at Shriners Hospital and I appreciated her so much. Room of clean, comfortable. Fair pricing. Perfect location.

The staff was not friendly at all. The lady the night of check-in would barely speak or give any directions. She seemed like that she did not want to be there at all. Then a different lady at check-out was too preoccupied with her current task. Never asked about my stay, thanked me for staying or even offered a receipt. Lastly, the hotel charged me for another reservation that I did not make with the hotel.

Front desk staff were unfriendly at checkin and checkout. TV service wasn't working at check in and we weren't notified until calling the front desk to report the issue, which was also an unfriendly interaction. Window curtain had a huge stain and so did a couple pillow cases. One pillow case had a large cigarette burn. Beds were comfortable.

Front desk clerk was not helpful , check in wasn’t smooth , disabled my key during stay and rented it to someone else after they walked in our room while we wasn’t there they realized it was someone’s room , security (supposedly) banged on our room door at 3:00 am and opened the door the latched stopped him from coming in. Never once said he was security, front office calls right after and said there was a problem with credit card after I showed them it had already been charged … spoke with harry and he was not apologizing at all told me to do what I need to do . Very rude

I paid for the room in advance via PayPal, but when we checked in they wanted to scan my credit card for "incidentals" and charged a security deposit. I then got a text from my credit card company that I had two charges pending. The next day they had credited one charge, but only credited the second one partially. When I dropped off the key the clerk barely acknowledged my presence. The promised nutritious hot breakfast consisted of cold cereal,toast, and Waffles, pretty disappointing.

Awful customer service. Breakfast not served when they stated it is. I booked a "not hidden costs/price you see is price you pay", but then charged over $100 more at check in. The whole place is gross and so run down. Will never stay here again.

Checked in and frint desk was not friendly and was rude, charged me 100 for deposit and 103 for a service fee got the 100 back but never refunded me my 103 for service not sure whats that for i paid for hotel through hotels.com. so currently disputing charge.

Property was superbly maintained. Front desk lady was efficient and helpful. We received a call from the front desk about 15 minutes after check-in to see if everything was OK - a very nice touch that separated your accommodation from the rest on our vacation.

Close to job

Property and room was very clean. Felt safe there and have stayed there for the past three years when the sec womens basketball tournament is held in Greenville. Things that I wasn't too crazy about was that the breakfast was lacking in general. Average at best. Also, it is difficult to leave the property and enter Orchard Park Road due to tall cedar trees blocking the view until you have to get out into the road before you can see if there is oncoming traffic.I have made comments about that in years past.

This is a nice motel. The rooms are small but clean and work for what was needed. It was conveniently located near downtown and was very reasonably priced. When traffic in not insane, it is about a 7-10 minute drive. There are food options within walking distance and they have some frozen/microwave meals available in the lobby for sale. The room came with a fridge and microwave. And the coffee pot came with enough to make 3-4 cups instead of the usual one cup. It comes with free breakfast, which is nice. The area was so/so. And we were unlucky enough to be there on trash day. They emptied the dumpsters at 5:45 am. This was very loud and startling. Not the hotel's fault but just something you might want to know. I would stay there again.

It as ok. The front desk staff wasn't that friendly and it could have been in a nicer surrounding area, I felt like the pictures didn't reflect that but the inside was ok. Be aware that this was not an indoor hotel so people could just walk right up to your door so if you're a female traveling alone I wouldn't stay her but if you just want somewhere to lay your head it's ok.

The room itself was adequate for our purposes. The clerk who checked us in was not very friendly. There were some people openly smoking pot at the pool, which was not desirable for my young grandchildren. Breakfast was good and location fine.

Staff was not that friendly when we were checking in. And they charged additional hidden fees that it was not disclosed when we booked this hotel. Location was good and plenty of parking spaces. Breakfast was just okay.

Neighbors were noisy. Loud talking all night long which disturbed my sleep. Breakfast was marginal. No half and half creamer.

This is probably the best motel that I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in a lot they had the best breakfast always a smile on their face everything very clean would stay there again thank you very much quality inn

The usual breakfast offerings that make breakfast worthwhile, like eggs and sausage, we're apparently unavailable, leaving only waffles and sweets. Breakfast is actually one of the high-points at the quality inn.

Generally a good value, but disappointed after being assured the FULL breakfast would be available, to find out that it was only waffles and cereal again, eggs and sausage were NOT offered at breakfast

The breakfast was poor quality and amounts. Breakfast was served from 7am-10am, it was empty by 8:45am without being refilled before ending. Even had waffles, but no sugar free syrup for diabetes.

they don't give breakfast in monday this is not right should be said somthing about this in the reservation also they said to me your company what you reserved the room they gave you a wrong room and we can't give you that room what you said
