We didn’t like limited accessibility due to not functioning elevator. We also had difficulty with operating TV and cable box - having instructions would be great. Having AC in hallways and stair cases would be helpful especially when climbing four floors up at 40 degrees heat. Loved decor and amenities, beds were excellent, kitchen appliances and laundry were fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

Inn has great walk ability throughout Old Quebec. The property is clean and nicely updated. The check-in communication was good (no front desk, all self service). The in building cafe is great for light snacks, coffee, etc. Parking is in a garage across the street. We were not able to use it as our truck was to large. This property will not disappoint!

The only setbacks is there’s no luggage storage at all. If you arrive earlier than 4 pm or depart later than 11 am, there’s no storage for your luggage at all at the hotel. It was very inconvenient!!

Was one of the nicest properties I've ever stayed in. Elevator, free laundry, 3 doors down from the Frontenac, beautiful furnishings, king size bed very comfortable, kitchenette, so very clean, I can go on and on. Not to mention it was the best price I could find in the area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these UNESCO Heritage hotel to anyone.

Parking was a challenge, all the lots were “complete” We had to park a $30 each way Uber ride in the Palais du Justice public parking. Trafic in Quebec is horrendous, not the fault of the hotel. The auberge is well situated close to everything. Clean rooms, but no WiFi Otherwise enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location immediately next to Chateau Frontenac and in the best spot in Old Quebec. One of the only underground parking lots is right across tho street which has EV charging (slow, but it works). The small shop on the first floor has amazing ice cream which we had each night before turning in. The hotel was great.

Maison Kent is in an very old historic building just steps from Chateau Frontenac in the heart of Old Quebec and walking distance to a ton of restaurants, shoppes etc. in both Lower and Upper Quebec. Could not be a more ideal location. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, with excellent ambience & feel. Small cafe on main level for take away but not to sit. However, terrace outside the Frontenac Starbucks had good coffee and croissants, and great view of St Lawrence. High marks for this and new wing under construction. However the check in process was awful. The hotel sent Check-In instructions the day before arrival but if you are not able to check email that process fails, and NO ONE at the check in desk til 3 (or 4?) PM, and no one answers the phone number given in the sign at the door, and there is NO PLACE TO LEAVE LUGGAGE IF YOU ARRIVE early. we sat nearly 2 hours in the stairwell and finally had to call HOTELS.COM to have them call the hotel and let us in. Hotels.com staff were very apologetic but still to wait for Kent staff to arrive. we had already paid the room so could not decamp elsewhere. Also, style over function. The shower was beautiful but its pan was treacherous when wet - slipped & nearly fell, and NO grab-bar on the walls. Needs more attention to minor details like that which could easily ruin a vacation.

Hotel was amazing, accommodating, easy communication, perfect central location. Cannot get any better. Only problem was the no elevator, but we are young and hubby did a great job! The area is Old Quebec, properties are old. This place is stellar. Definitely would recommend.

Very nice property in best possible location. Only challenge is baggage. There’s no easy way to transfer from a vehicle into the hotel without blocking a lane on busy Rue Ste Louis. The elevator is utilitarian but welcome for transporting baggage, but not suitable for claustrophobic passengers. The room was clean and nicely appointed with all the necessary amenities. I still miss having a person on site to answer questions and address issues.

Very nice, very clean property in the heart of old town Quebec City. Easy access to restaurants and many points of interest. There are several parking garages nearby if you have a vehicle and the rates a reasonable. This apartment is highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again.

Un endroit très bien situé. Belle chambre cependant mon conjoint s’est coupé en dessous d’un pied avec un morceau de verre oublié par ? Suite à cela j’ai remarqué que l’aspirateur n’avait pas bien été passé. Également n’avions pas reçu par e-mail le code de la porte . Il a fallu appeler deux fois car la carte n’était pas dans le dispositif . Une journée à Québec et je n’ai pas voulue rappeler……..

The room was spotless, La Maison Kent is very well located, a block from Le Château Frontenac and the old city can be visited by walking. The underground parking is located right a cross the street and there is 2 Flow car chargers. This is the ideal spot to be if you want to spend some time in the Old Quebec City.

The hotel is modern, clean and spacious. Its location is perpect and has a near parking lot. The room is picture perfect for a family picture 😅. It’s virtual assitance is very efficient. No long waits as good as in person. Thank you for having us!

Our stay at La Maison Kent was very pleasant. The aesthetics of the room are spectacular, lots of space and a great mixture of old and new. The huge shower was fantastic! The elevator was welcome as we (my husband more than myself) had to navigate heavy luggage from the parking garage up the street. The location was perfect and a short walk to all there is to see in Old Quebec City. We really appreciated the support with our request for more coffee pods. Considering the hotel has a virtual concierge, they were quite quick to make it happen. The only negatives were the internal temperature of the room, our thermostat was unresponsive to change the temperature with the remote. It was very cold but I would rather have that than too warm. The hallways and our room could have used a more thorough cleaning of the floors. Overall we would definitely stay here again and we do recommend the La Maison Kent. Thank you for your hospitality!

The room was very nice and spacious. We had some issues with the air conditioning not working but it was cold that weekend so it was okay. The couch bed was also uncomfortable but again we got some help and we're given a mattress topper which made it better. Overall a great place to stay.

Fantastic property great location, excellent room & large bathroom. 4 large windows gave great light. Also, washer & dryer was available for your laundry. Would definitely recommend this property if visiting Quebec City!

The property as a whole was lovely, but we wouldn't choose to stay in this room again if given the option. I can't speak for the rest of the rooms, but 155 is right next to the elevators and stairs, and has poor soundproofing, so we could hear everyone coming and going at all times. Also, the bathroom had a barn-style door, which we would have liked to know about beforehand, as it's not our preference. Gorgeous room, but these aspects were not enjoyable for us.

I booked the most inexpensive room (semi-basement) and was surprised how spacious and nice it was. The bed was super comfortable. It is in the heart of old Quebec so close to everything there. The mini kitchen had a kettle and teas and even a plug in burner with pots/pans very well equipped for a longer stay if you want to cook your own meals. Will Definitely return!

Comfortable beds, very nice rooms and amenities in the room. The location is absolutely perfect - old Quebec is right there, steps away from the funicular, night shows, dining and stores. Parking was easy and not far away. We stayed with two young children (3.5 and 1yr old) and had a great experience. Ice cream connected to the building :)

Wow! Loved this stay! Location is perfect. Was pleasantly surprised at all the amenities in our room. So clean, bright and modern with stone walls. Beautifully renovated!

The accommodations and amenities were great. Communication was nearly impossible as no one was onsite- no Front Desk, no personnel to help with problems and get info. Phone did not work. Checking in was a nightmare. If it weren’t for strangers help we would not have even gotten a room key! Very poor system for anyone who has no internet service in a foreign country. If they had provided someone onsite to help with issues, it would have meant a big difference in this review.

Loved the property, cleanliness. Wish communication was better in terms of when we would receive instructions on access to the building. Also instructions on how to use the air conditioner would have helped but besides that..... Really great experience. Will be back.

The rooms and location are true highlights. Very comfortable and spacious guest rooms, located in the middle of Old Quebec, with easy access to everything. The challenge we had was with check-in, resulting from the fact that there does't seem to be any on-site staff. We arrived early and was told our room wasn't ready, but someone would text us when it was ready. We never did receive a text. When we went back at the check-in time, our key was not inside of the self-service lock box. After calling and waiting on hold, someone eventually brought us a key, but it wasn't the correct key, and then we had trouble getting back in touch (no one was answering the phones) to rectify the issue. Eventually we found the person who provided us with the key and got things sorted, but it took a long time to figure out and it was difficult to get support when we needed it.

Maison Kent is in an very old historic building just steps from Chateau Frontenac in the heart of Old Quebec and walking distance to a ton of restaurants, shoppes etc. in both Lower and Upper Quebec. Could not be a more ideal location. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, with excellent ambience & feel. Small cafe on main level for take away but not to sit. However, terrace outside the Frontenac Starbucks had good coffee and croissants, and great view of St Lawrence. High marks for this and new wing under construction. However the check in process was awful. The hotel sent Check-In instructions the day before arrival but if you are not able to check email that process fails, and NO ONE at the check in desk til 3 (or 4?) PM, and no one answers the phone number given in the sign at the door, and there is NO PLACE TO LEAVE LUGGAGE IF YOU ARRIVE early. we sat nearly 2 hours in the stairwell and finally had to call HOTELS.COM to have them call the hotel and let us in. Hotels.com staff were very apologetic but still to wait for Kent staff to arrive. we had already paid the room so could not decamp elsewhere. Also, style over function. The shower was beautiful but its pan was treacherous when wet - slipped & nearly fell, and NO grab-bar on the walls. Needs more attention to minor details like that which could easily ruin a vacation.

Our stay at La Maison Kent was very pleasant. The aesthetics of the room are spectacular, lots of space and a great mixture of old and new. The huge shower was fantastic! The elevator was welcome as we (my husband more than myself) had to navigate heavy luggage from the parking garage up the street. The location was perfect and a short walk to all there is to see in Old Quebec City. We really appreciated the support with our request for more coffee pods. Considering the hotel has a virtual concierge, they were quite quick to make it happen. The only negatives were the internal temperature of the room, our thermostat was unresponsive to change the temperature with the remote. It was very cold but I would rather have that than too warm. The hallways and our room could have used a more thorough cleaning of the floors. Overall we would definitely stay here again and we do recommend the La Maison Kent. Thank you for your hospitality!

We have stayed at this location several times previously all without issue. However, this time our check-in information was confirmed for one room, but this room was occupied???. We had traveled all day to find out that our room is not available. Fortunately, there is a shop owner Mohamad, onsite that was able to assist us. He called someone who issued a different room. Imagine if we were delayed and Mohamad was not there to assist us? Very shocking given our previous exceptional experiences. The new management team/system seems very disorganized. The location, room quality, etc etc all remain amazing but if Mohamad hadn't step in to solve our problem we likely would not be returning. All good again though!

It’s historical and at the same time feels very modern with great updated facility. I love the tall ceiling and tall windows, and how spacious an quiet it is. The room was spotless, La Maison Kent is very well located, a block from Le Château Frontenac and the old city can be visited by walking. The underground parking is located right a cross the street and there is 2 Flow car chargers. This is the ideal spot to be if you want to spend some time in the Old Quebec City.

One of the only underground parking lots is right across tho street which has EV charging (slow, but it works). The small shop on the first floor has amazing ice cream which we had each night before turning in. The hotel was great.

The rooms were beautiful and well appointed. Check-in could have been a little cumbersome but Mohamed from the coffee shop was very helpful. Our room was not available when we arrived around 4:00 pm and we had to wait about half an hour to have it cleaned. Management graciously gave us a partial refund as compensation. Location, location, location - very convenient to shopping, restaurants, Le Chateau Frontenac, and bus connections.

We were a group of six friends and rented two rooms in this historic building, once a British consulate. The room was spacious with high ceilings, brand new bathrooms and a sweet galley kitchen. We could never figure out the coffee maker so went out to charming little restaurants, which we totally enjoyed. The location of this hotel is amazing, accessible to all sorts of beautiful tourist highlights. The check-in system and getting your room key was quite different from what we are accustomed to in the US, but it is probably the future and we managed, LOL! I would highly recommend this property. Quebec City is an amazing and beautiful place to visit.

Comfortable beds, very nice rooms and amenities in the room. The location is absolutely perfect - old Quebec is right there, steps away from the funicular, night shows, dining and stores. Parking was easy and not far away. We stayed with two young children (3.5 and 1yr old) and had a great experience. Ice cream connected to the building :)

The mansion and room was stunningly restored and renovated. The location is as perfect as you could hope for without landing in the Chateau itself, and after touring the Chateau, a much better room with way less foot traffic. You can easily walk to all the local sites and food options right from the mansion.

The location of this property was fantastic!!! We loved how we could walk everywhere in Vieux Québec! The lock box check in process was easy by using the directions sent via email. Calling the phone number for help was simple and the operators were always very helpful! The room was spacious and accommodated our family of 4 wonderfully. Great linens and bathroom products! We would stay here again and would recommend to family and friends for their visit.

the location is SOOOO central to everything - Rue St. Louis IS the restaurant haven.. and Frontenac is two buildings away as it the BOARDWALK and ... everything.... there is NO daily cleaning.. but you can ask for towels etc.. - there is a wonderful little cafe Okata ON the premises with superb croissants made there - sushi etc.. a quick sort of 'catch me up'... very spacious rooms - totally delightful ~ to be done again...

I requested that a power bar be brought to our room for our two CPAP’s since bedside only has a single power outlet. Staff was gone by the time we returned from dinner but there was no power bar. Only one of us got to sleep properly. By morning, my throat was so dry & swollen.

Absolutely awesome, Simon and Sebastian were extremely helpful and convivial. They made our stay most welcoming. The best location right beside the Fairmont and across the street form a great restaurant called the Continental with very fine delivery and old work showmanship with a good menu. Steps from everything at a reasonable price. Previously the British Embassy, very modern and old at the same time.
