The Greyhound Inn

The breakfast was included in our booking, I thought it would just be a continental one but we could chose anything from the menu. We were actually the only people staying on a cold night in winter but the staff made an effort to make us welcome. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, the chef made the best scrambled eggs I've ever had with chopped chives that really elevated the dish. Bar and meal on the night we arrived were also excellent. Room comfortable and warm, shower hot and with good water pressure. Thoroughly recommend this place, a lovely traditional British pub.

Great family friendly accommodation and pub. We felt truly welcomed with our little one! We will return when in the area.

Very pleasant mine host and friendly breakfast cook; comfortable room; (but bathroom daddy longlegs spider by wash-basin could perhaps have been rehoused). A nice overnight stay at a reasonable price

This property is tired and needs better management no TV remote working in room waiting times for evening meal was very poor and expensive for a pub did not have all the breakfast menu
