Elevator was broken wouldn’t let you use your key to get to room could only use left elevator and it was acting up too had to walk all the way to horshoe desk to figure this out! Coffee maker was broken and hot water would go cold instantly

Elevators were broken overnight and they put us on the 11th floor making us walk up 5 flights of stairs. The front desk was closed for half of the morning the next day. Air conditioning in the room was broken during the first night and they gave us a fan. Another couple was booked into a room that was already occupied.

Overall not a bad stay - the room was clean and the bed fairly comfortable, but would not stay here again. Check-in was slow. The a/c in the room did not work very good so we did not sleep well as the room never cooled- we had it "serviced" but it didn't change anything. We requested more in-room coffee, but were told no one was working in the hotel until 8:30am so we'd have to go to the Horseshoe next store to get more ourselves. The hotel was under construction, which I did not know when booking, so our window was covered in plastic therefore no view or fresh air. Only one hook in the bathroom for bath towels. No in-room microwave.

Nice clean property and staff . Amazingly easy to park- Covered parking. Rates are decent and guarantee you will be able to get a quiet nights sleep. I have a disability and appreciated the elevators and escalators. Thank you :-)

Lady Luck Hotel lost customer elevators on Friday evening. We were located on the 10th floor. Finally my wife was offered to use their freight elevator. It was a long, confusing and winding walk through storage areas and exterior areas under construction. There were no available elevator repair companies available until Saturday. The elevator was finally fixed approx. 11:30 Saturday morning. Meanwhile, the hotel area remained unsecure as no card keys were required to access the floors. Secured doors were proped open with things, such as cases of water, all throughout the hotel during this outage. This created additional fire hazards. Also, on Saturday night we were forced to hear a whinning/ crying puppy in the room next door to us (a non-pet approved room). We complained to the staff at the sister hotel (the Horseshoe) because the Lady Luck Hotel desk was so poorly staffed and hardly open. Neil, the supposed front desk supervisor for both hotels was rude, argumentative, and unhelpful. He refused to mitigate our concerns in any way. Furthermore, he refused to direct us to his supervisor or anyone in Cesar's resort corporate management. We will never patronize this business again.

The room is fine for the price. We had our little dog with us for the first time and although they ARE dog friendly at the hotel, finding a space for the dog to go potty (especially #2) was not easy and certainly do not plan to toss the ball as the dog space is on a busy road with just rocks and weeds.

The hotel is under construction. They failed to mention this when i booked. all rooms have windows blocked. i thought i was in an inner room on a cruise ship. I came back from the casino at midnight couldn't figure the elevator out. turns out it was out of service and had to follow terrible signing to the outside loading dock and then up a service elevator. no one at the desk in the morning when i wanted to complain and check out. oh well. of course they were sitll charging the additional "resort fee". unreal.

It smelled like sewer in the room and needs to be updated. No idea why they charge you resort fees. Safe broke, coffee machine didnt work properly. Compare to the other properties in black hawk, this one seems to be the oldest and it shows.

The 1st room we were given smelled like dirty dog and poop. The room was very whethered. We asked for a second room and it wasn't much better. While it didn’t smell as bad as the other, it was worse. The bed has broken wood and nails sticking out. The sheets were dirty with hair and black streaks. The bathroom sink was missing a handle and the blow dryer was broken off the wall but nicely placed on the shelf. The front desk was closed and we had to go to another hotel and casino for assistance. We ask for a refund, but they did not oblige. We left and took the loss. 100% do not recommend.

There was blood all over the walls in our bathroom. We talked to the front desk and they sent housekeeping in to clean it. After house keeping changed our bedsheets (that were also covered in blood) we came back to see the blood all over the bathroom remained! The front desk was extremely apologetic, but the issue was not resolved. I wouldnt recommend staying here. Buck up the extra money to stay somewhere else.

Our room was not clean, the bed wasn’t made The bottom sheet was on the bed and was dirty, and the top blankets were on top of the dresser and were also dirty. The sink in the bathroom was clogged. I did take pictures.

There was construction going on that we weren’t aware of. Our window was actually covered in plastic and there was scaffolding outside and men walking by and we were on the ninth floor! I don’t know if the plastic was covering some vents, but the air did not work. It was so hot in there.

It was a little hot in the room. Ac didn't work. They offered a box fan which was a lifesaver. Front desk guy super friendly and was nice talkig to him. Overall was not bad.

The room was fine ,clean and well appointed .The desk did ask if we wanted to be near the elevators or not , we kind of thought that odd ,untill we were getting ready for bed and heard the noises. It sounded like a cat scream or young kids fighting.turns out every time the elevator went up rubber rollers somewhere screached to a stop so between 2and10 times an hour till 1 am or so .... .We're kind of used to it with kids at home and for the 1 night lived with it . A couple on honeymoon or working on a business trip might not feel so relaxed to this kind of annoyance.

When checking in there was nobody at the desk and had an auto check in that was having trouble getting reservations to pull up. Had to walk around to find someone to help. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The casino had no live tables running and this is Saturday at 3pm. Had to go to other casino to play live tables. Long night in the cousins went to sleep at 3am and the cleaning service was knocking on my door at 7:45 asking when I was going to check out for them to clean my room when check out is not till 11am.

They advertise 24 hour check in, but when we checked in at 11:30 PM there was no staff at the desk and the check in kiosks didn’t function. We had to walk a long distance to another hotel to check in. The staff member there was pleasant and helpful and informed us the kiosks rarely function. Perhaps the Lady Luck should invest in people instead of technology.

The room was good. Good location, walking distance to Ameristar and Central city . It was clean but was hot. We had to sleep with the window open and leave it open all day to kind of cool off. There was no fan and the light bulb was getting ready to burn out so it was flickering but other than that was a good day.

We pulled into garage having never been there. Hubby dropped me off at elevators. Ended up outside on the street. Went into casino across from hotel. Could not understand Security as to where the hotel lobby was. Signage was terrible!!! Called hotel, was told, i'm not really sure how to get in. Whaaat? After several frustrating time on the street, back in the garage and arguments on the phone with hubby.......we found the lobby check in. He was WONDERFUL! Room was great - had to walk thru casino to get to food. Would not stay again - but, we are not casino people. If you like casinos you may love the place.

Definitely worth it when you get a deal! Clean room, nice view when on the right side of the building, near the shuttle stops and other casinos. Plenty of dining and gaming options. Would stay here again, very pleasant experience.

This was the strangest stay. I have walked by the Lady Luck many times and had no idea there was a hotel. There is no visible entrance, little to no signage. The designers seemed to go out of their way to hide the building from the fact that there is a hotel. But there is one and it was nice. Clean, functional, reasonable.

Hotel was nice but the drive there was awefull took us three hours to go three miles. Casino was a blast but never any three card poker dealers. Only one option to eat after 11:00 on a Thursday was called 24-7 in the monarch. Need more cocktail waitress.

This hotel is far from everything and has no restaurant options, only the restaurant in the other hotel which is expensive! Horrible location as there is nothing nearby except the casino. Dispersed employees, check out machines don't work, there are no employees at the front desk. There is no room service and much less water if you want to buy a bottle.
