The room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately there was a hockey tournament and the pool and hot tub were swamped with young kids both times we went. We were unable to stream on the tv, there was wind noise from the door, the elevators were slow. Did not try the buffet at it was very expensive $22 for adults and $14 for kids.

The pool was cold and the hot tub didn't work, which were the reasons we chose this hotel. Disappointing for our "babymoon". The hallways and elevator smelled like sewage, though the room itself was fine. Room was BIG and clean, check-in / out was super fast and easy.

Staying here was the worst hotel experience ever. There were definite safety concerns, when I arrived there were throngs of people everywhere throughout the halls, the stairwells, and the lobby. This continued throughout the weekend making it really uncomfortable to do anything. The elevator wait times were exorbitant, and when they did become available, they were so full it was uncomfortable. One of the reasons I booked this place was for the pool and gym, well the amenities were overrun with youth, and were essentially inaccessible. Furthermore, the youth were running throughout the halls and were rowdy enough to prevent sleep and interrupt sleep. According to the map, it seemed like it was in the downtown area, while it was not too far, the location was not good. Considering the cost of the property, this was certainly not worth it. I have never been so upset with a hotel stay and I have travelled globally. I do not recommend this property.

Easy check in and out. Convenient location right off the highway and lots of places to walk to (shopping centre, mall, etc.) Parking lot option includes underground and above ground. Pool and gym were clean and nice to have as an option to use. Would recommend this location and stay again.

Great hotel, with free parking and relatively accessible to highways. It’s also within close proximity to downtown Ottawa Only complaint are the elevators. They are perhaps the slowest I’ve even seen anywhere. Definitely mgmt should try and service these to be more efficient.

The hotel was extremely clean and the staff friendly. The view was nice. My wife was happy they had starbucks available. The one thing I would suggest is more ev chargers. There are only 2 and They are first come first serve and have a limit of four hours which people were not respecting. Still giving this hotel 5 stars as other peoples lack of respect is not their fault.

Seemed like a lovely hotel , check in didn't tell us where pool or gym was found out from looking around. Went to use shower found it wasn't clean hair on the wall. Changed my mind. Got up to go to washroom at 4ish am turn bathroom light on it went out in second fan too. Kept playing with switch nothing. Then not until after 8 am my husband tried and nothing then a few minutes later tried again it came back on very strange. Toilet when flushed kept runningy husband has to keep fixing it to stop. Plus we booked for 4 adults and they put us on 6th floor with a bunch of kids all around crazy very noisy. I know we were only there one night but really!

Personnel très aimable, chambre spacieuse, lumineuse et très agréable. Parking inclus. Situation pratique pour accès rapide en voiture au centre d’Ottawa Ascenseurs catastrophiques (attente+++) et piscine décevante (eau trouble, pas de vestiaire, etc). Nous avons également dû faire nous meme le lit d’appoint pour notre enfant bien que nous l’ayons demandé au préalable.

I arrived and asked for a room away from the elevator and was told by front desk that I had that type of room. When I got up to 12th floor, the room was right across a narrow halllway from the elevator. Then I was given a room that was 80 degrees F and then told I could not be moved, until I made scene and got a room that was also too hot at 76 degrees. Slept in that for one night then went to see the manager who said he would fix things, but did not. Later the second day I was given yet another room that was too warm. The heating/cooling system did not work on that floor. Finally after some complaining I got a room that was cooler across the hall. Throughout my stay one of the three elevators did not work, so there was many long delays in getting up and down to my room. Will never stay in a Marriott property again.

Clean rooms , friendly staff HOWEVER the bed in my room was so hard it made sleeping difficult. Every area contacting the mattress went numb within 10-15 min Arms / hips / shoulders numb. Toss and turn all night. literally one of the worst beds i have ever slept on. 10th floor room. Maybe better mattresses on other floors?

It wasn’t bad, a few annoyances like the very very slow elevator. A door to the elevators on the first floor was not working properly and it had to be fought with to open. The TV had to be fixed by the maintenance staff before we could use Netflix, he came quickly but was in our room for about 15 minutes. Other than all that the beds are very comfortable and we would go again.

Everything was absolutely except fantastic the housekeeping. They were HORRIBLE the first night. Knocking on doors all the way down the hall starting at 07:30. Then same routine 2 more tim3s before 10:30am. When youve checked in late and workedtil 1:30 am. Unacceptable. Was going to cancel my 2nd night I left so angry and morning person at the desk appeared to not care. It's too bad that so much was great and rude people don't care that you are staying til checkout. 0/10 for housekeeping. 10/10 for the money for everything else.

I booked two rooms and I had requested that they be adjacent to each other. However, at check-in they gave me the two rooms in the same floor but they were on the opposite sides of the elevators. So, when I asked for a change I was met with some attitude from the staff saying the were full and couldn't do anything. So, I asked them to check and they did but could only offer a downgrade. I had to accept as I had no option. I think someone needs to explain them the concept of adjacent rooms and that rooms on opposite sides of the elevator shaft do not qualify as adjacent.

If you drive an electric vehicle (EV) this is not the place for you. They have 2 chargers and have no interest in enforcing time limits or ensuring people don’t use them to just leave their cars. When asked staff for support in enforcing the property’s OWN rules for the chargers we were met with avoidance and outright lies. Do not recommend and surely will never stay here again. The rest of the stay was just ok. Mattresses are quite hard, breakfast was just OK and for the price probably not worth it. But it was the staff interaction re. the issue above that soured our stay. Surely there are places where staff actually cares to be helpful to guests.

Asked for 3pm check in arrived at 2:45 and was told NO check in before 4pm. Lobby was full of people waiting to get checked in. Finally well after 5. Other issue was you needed to swipe your room key in order to get elevator to move which was a royal pain in the ass if you happened to go downstairs for anything with the expectations of going back to room and having your partner let you in. Staff do not want to let you go to room without ID but hard to do if all your ID is in your room. I understand the theory of this but not once at check in was this explained to us. Luckily when we got on elevator after check in there was another couple going to there room and pressed the button just like people do in every other place with elevators. $30 / person for breakfast very ridiculous not even a complimentary coffee as most all Hotels have. I have stayed at this hotels several times in the past but i think this will be the last.

It is located few steps from Ottawa Titans Baseball club and in front of Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Although the hotel surroundings are safe, we don't recommend it for walking to centretown as we noticed people panhandling on the light stops and it is about 1 hour (4.2 km) to Parliament Hill. If you are driving, there is included parking which is great. There is a restaurant but it is expensive for families. They have great amenities as a pool, gym (wonderful equipment), and guest laundry. They room we had was spacious with a small refrigerator, microwave and kitchen sink. We had a king size bed and pull out couch. Room and bathroom were clean. Staff are professional and kind. We recommend it.
