SKYE Suites Sydney

This property was great for a short stay, on arrival the admin checked us in well, he did say though that the pool closed at 7 and when we came back one night from dinner at 8 there was people at the pool and when i researched it said 10pm this was our last stay for the night so was a bit of a waste and we would of liked to stay in the spa for a little bit each night knowing even if we got back a little later. Spa was definitely not Spa Tempreture, was only a little bit warmer than the pool and Jets were so powerful that it was not enjoyable and being visbale to the Lobby made it very uncomfortable for people checking in. In the room there was no robe provided so going down to the pool was a issue as i had to take clothes. Would of loved a tv visable to the bed, they never stocked up on the amenites like Tea or coffee. Bed was very comfortable, great pressure shower, Rooms always got cleaned no matter what time of day but shame there was no room service, water was not free in the room and had to pay for water. Cleaning Service trolleys were right outside room door and looked unprofessional. Tv was a great size and accessible to all apps like Disney, Netflix, Foxtel Etc. We were also told that its $60 a day for parking at the closest parking so when we stayed overnight (no more than 15 hours) and checked out from the Wilsons Carpark to see it say $170 was quite disappointing because we would of just paid for Valet Parking then.

Great property. Loved the pool and hot tub. Modern and swank decor.

This suited us as a young family. Spacious rooms, kitchen, laundry and walking distances to local attractions. We all enjoyed the indoor pool. Check in and out was easy.

Very convenient CBD location, close to Darling Harbour attractions, rail and tram routes, theatres and key shopping outlets. Efficient house cleaning and prompt house keeping. Great pool with warm spar. Our third visit - valet parking service very good too.

Perfectly located hotel in CBD. I stayed for 10 nights and was happy to have a smaller kitchen. Great to have separet sleeping and living area. The only improvement I could suggest is a better gym. Very clean and nice apartment hotel.

Well designed and fully equipped our suite was spacious and comfortable. Soft bedding and comfortable bed. Everything was clean and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash was lovely The pool is stunning and the spa was very powerful. I also used the gym which was well equipped (tv was not working and there was no music but I’m sure if I asked someone would have helped). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Close to Darling Harbour and Wynyard train station. I will stay here again. Excellent

The location is good for accessing to anywhere in city, by foot, train or monorail. There are many cafe and restaurant nearby. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are functioning well.

Room and pool were nice, gym amenities were enough to do a workout with. It’s a futuristic/ modern hotel, definitely would recommend. If you want a 5 star hotel near Darling Harbour and Barangaroo this is your hotel

Property was very clean and the pool was lovely.

Pros- Central location within walking distance to major attractions, shops, places to eat and public transport. -Room was clean and spacious. -Beds were comfy. -Had a large balcony (no view), weather wasn’t nice enough to use it during our stay but would be lovely in summer. -Staff were very friendly and helpful and we appreciated the free chocolates. Would stay again next time I’m in Sydney. Cons- The pool was quite chilly, could do with being heated more in winter. -Whilst the spa pool was lovely, this was unfortunately spoilt by the fact that everytime I used it over my 4 day stay there were misbehaving kids in there, with young children jumping and diving between the spa pool and the main pool, splashing around and kicking adults in the spa, sucking up and spitting out the spa water, amongst other issues. It would be much better to only allow children over 12 and adults in the spa since young children have access to the pool there’s no need for them to use the spa.

Very clean room and facilities, staff were very welcoming and helpful.

시드니 시내와 가깝고 시드니 국제공항과 차로 20분 거리에 있어서 위치는 너무 좋았습니다. 방에서 음식을 조리해먹을 수 있도록 조리기구 및 식기세척기까지 구비되어있어서 좋았어요. 세탁기와 건조기도 있어서 여행 중 많은 옷이 필요하지 않아서 편리했습니다. 다만 방에서 바퀴벌레가 나와서…청소와 소독에 좀 더 신경써주었으면 좋겠습니다..!

Excellent location, comfortable bedding, great amenities, the spa and pool were a real bonus. Though the room floor wasn’t vacuumed properly daily.

Bathroom sink didn't drain - very slow. Staff seemed to be aware when mentioned. Access elevator quite dusty inside. Hallway leading to room hadn't been vacuumed. Entry door to unit had marks/smears all over it.

Wonderful stay! The apartment was modern and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping staff were great as were the staff at the front desk. The extras such as dishwasher and laundry powder made it easy to feel right at home. Great location, I could walk everywhere. Highly recommended.

Basically, the staff was very friendly and the rooms were moderately well appointed and clean. A few disappointments were the shower room, which was full of small insects on the ceiling and walls due to poor ventilation, and the coffee machine, which seemed to be broken and I could not get a cup of coffee no matter how many times I tried.

I thought the suite was great. Very clean and comfortable. Only thing i would change is better sheets that would stay on the bed better. I would definitely stay there again.

My stay was ok but it should have been amazing. The hotel is in a great location. Walkable to most of the tourist sights. Very close to Darling Harbour where you can catch boats to other locations. Close to shops and restaurants. The room has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The kitchenette is a bonus as means you can make drinks and get food to eat in if shattered after a busy day sightseeing. The problem I had was my bathroom floor was filthy. I spilt some water on the floor, and when I wiped it up the towel/tissue were black. The place where I had wiped was then a different colour to the rest of the floor so could see how dirty the floor was. I was out all day so didn’t get to report this straight away. I reported it on my second night there and the gentlemen on the desk (sadly i didn’t get his name) was rude. He made no attempt to apologise for condition. Simply said he was on his own and would let house keeping know. I appreciate he was on his own so limited action he could take but his attitude was lousy. I said I would clean it myself but he said he couldn’t access any cleaning equipment. When I handed him the dirty tissues he just laughed. I felt awful after my walk with him. The dirty floor left me with no confidence about the cleanliness of the rest of the room. The floor was cleaned the next day. But as a public holiday the rest of the room wasn’t so still not sure how clean the room was. I will say the rest of the staff were very nice

Loocation: Great location for easy walkability to everything. Approx 2 block walk to Darling Harbour. Stores and restaurants an easy walk. Property: Very quiet and clean. Its not a busy property. Room: We had a one bedroom that was very spacious and clean. In suite laundry and full kitchen. Everything was very clean. Would atay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Skye Suites. Very well equipped, clean, comfortable beds (queens). Close to everthing, but being in CBD means soms noise. immediate neighborhood a lttlle old and not too many people on that street, but a block a way was fine.

Skye suites are wonderfully located for access to local transport and walkable to popular city locations. The rooms are great, spacious and comfortable. My only comment is the lack of clothes storage, if you are staying for a week and want to unpack you have to get creative with kitchen cupboards! Staff were wonderful and the suites smell fantastic.

I felt this hotel has been recently renovated. Room condition & House keeping service was good. And location of this hotel is relatively close to tourist attraction. balcony 's view was not good..

Had a very modern feel and was spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was fully functional so easy to prepare light meals. Lots of choices for food and shopping nearby.

Excellent location, spacious rooms and efficient reception staff. The only things I would change is having a tv opposite the bed as well as in the lounge area. Also, the bathroom is quite small compared to the room size which is very spacious. I suspect this however, could be due to the original building structure?

Love staying at Skye Suites on our annual visits to Sydney as the service always feels personal and nothing is ever too much. The room was ready first stay hours earlier and the following weekend not quite, so we left our bags and went off for lunch. We were messaged that room was no ready and they had taken all of our bags and personal belongings up already along with requested washing rack etc. Fabulous service and rooms are always comfortable.

Check-in was a horrible experience. The couldn't find my booking then to be told I only had one night booked and had to show proof that I had 2 nights. No apologies as he couldn't find it. Then room key didn't work. came back down and he checks someone else in before fixing my key leaving us waiting in the lobby with a screaming baby

The property has a very beautiful lobby, but it was hard to locate there was no signage visible from the street and no numbers on the building. The check-in was good, the front desk employees were professional and attentive to our needs. The room was cleaned, but we had several issues with room telephone was not functioning, so they had to change the phones, and the stove top was not functioning properly. They did send someone; to assist but they were not the maintenance employee, advise they would not be on property until tomorrow, but no maintenance employee came the next day or any day doing our stay. The other issue, the quilt/linen that was change the 2nd day was dirty and had stains on them, we reported to the front desk. They sent housekeeping to immediately change out the linen. The overall stay at The Skye Suites was fair, do to those three issues. The last issue it appears that the front desk communication between employees is not occurring. We inquired on Feb 8, to the Front Desk about Car Services to the Sydney Airport for Feb. 9, the Front Desk employee I spoke with, advised they would contact us with the name and cost, but we never received a follow-up call from the Front Desk. so, we order an Uber for the morning, it appeared they had ordered the car service but did not advise us. So, we were getting ready to go to Airport, we receive a call from Car service that morning and Uber service, so we had an issue with the transport, due Desk not contacting us.

The staff were professional and kind. They took the time to handwrite a note and leave some beautiful little gifts for our weekend away. A lovely touch.

From check in to check out the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. Our stay started with Cameron, the front desk manager, getting us into our room a little early and after asking about where to buy some items he gifted us a welcome gift so we didn’t have to go out right away. Such a nice touch. The central location of the hotel cannot be beat. Near the tram, walking distance to the port and close to George Street, the main shopping and dining street. The room was spacious, well appointed and comfy. The mattress was a tad soft for us, but still comfortable, the wifi was great and tv channel choices good. If in Sydney again, we will definitely be staying here.

From start to finish this property delivered exactly what I needed. Arrived mid morning and was able to check my bags in while my room was being prepared, check in was not until 3pm and it was 9:00am. Front desk was happy to accommodate and even took my phone number incase the room was ready before the 3pm check in time. Also locked my bags up for me, not before offering a shower and changing room so I could enjoy my first day in Sydney. When the room was ready my bags were waiting for me in my room and the room was modern and very clean and tidy. Room was right off of elevator that brings you straight to the street access(with room key to enter/exit, felt very safe). Would definitely recommend to family and friends, little bit of a walk to the Harbor/Opera House but was very well located so you pass by great restaurants and shops! Top of my list for the Sydney hotel scene! Thank you and I will be back!

Sydney Skye Suites has become our favourite hotel to stay when visiting Sydney. Always the best service and hospitality outstanding. We arrived at 12pm and were given early check in without even asking as we were just going to drop off our bags and head off. So that was a lovely surprise and accomodate any requests with speed and best manner. Can’t wait to be back again this weekend when we get back from ou first cruise.

Location is great, just middle of sydney city, darling harbour only 5min walking distance, cool cafe and pubs near the hotel. But the guy in the front desk was pretty rude and hard to communicate.

Staff was extremely helpful, when our luggage didn't make our flight; the staff offered us tooth brushes and tooth paste and anything else we needed while waiting for our luggage. Always kind and thoughtful

Great staff . Streets didn’t feel too safe at back area after dinner hour. Limited Dining after 3PM. Reservations needed for nearby Pub. Transportation a few blocks away. If you’re mobile it’s doable.

Well situated for Darling Harbour and the Ferries. Very comfortable experience. Excellent range of equipment supplied (hob, microwave, dishwasher,fridge, washing machine, tumble drier, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, tv, etc.). Very friendly, helpful staff.

Good facilities and very close to pubs, cafes and shopping malls. Walking distance to most tourist places and public transport is easily accessible if needed. Highly recommended

Perfect location, so clean, spacious, amazing comfortable bed, great customer service. The only negative was that we arrived late around 9pm on a Tuesday and we couldn’t find a place to eat. We eventually stumbled on another hotel’s restaurant. I would highly recommend this property and would stay there again!

We enjoyed our four night stay in downtown Sydney. Our room was modern with a kitchen area, large tv, beautiful king size bed, washer/dryer and balcony. Pool and spa were enjoyed each evening. Plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again!

Perfect property for 2 couples spending 4 nights in Sydney prior to our New Zealand cruise. Front desk staff is excellent. Great location. I highly recommend SKYE Suites Sydney.
