We stayed in the room named needles which is a nice spacious room with en-suite. Looked like it had recently being refurbished. The bed was too soft for my liking but that is just a personal preference not a criticism. There’s no reception you let yourself in using a key safe at the main entrance. Plenty of parking to the side & not a long walk from the main entrance. The restaurant is closed Monday & Tuesdays but there’s plenty of restaurants nearby. We used cliff house which is a 10 min walk along the sea front. Breakfast on these mornings is continental. We had breakfast here on a Wednesday morning & is very good , well cooked & plenty of choice for all it also has a great view of the channel. Overall this is a great place to stay.

Room was in need of updating. Bathroom needed updating. No shower, just bath and a shower hose. Could no open windows and the outside of the windows were boarded with wood to block the street view, I guess. Very dark room. Definitely was no worth the price I paid.

Great location but a vastly overpriced smallish room with a view of the back of the building. It's a cafe/ restaurant primarily so the breakfast was a choice from the main menu and didn't open til 9. No option of cereals/ yoghurt/ toast etc. We had lunch on day of arrival and service and quality of food was good. For breakfast/brunch they seemed to have half the number of staff and whilst the staff were doing their best it seemed painfully disorganised and therefore very slow . As a regular on the table next door said, you don't come here for the service, you come for the view

Unfortunately I stayed on a Monday/ Tuesday when the bar and restaurant are closed so cannot give a review of any amenities. The room key was in a key lock external to the property. Room was clean and tidy and would definitely stop again but not on the days the bar / restaurant are closed.
