Very disappointing stay. The pool closure was spun as a short term, just happened, “might be fixed tomorrow” situation, but with time it became clear it’s been an ongoing issue. With no notice of a weeks long pool issue until check-in our hands were tied and no effort was made to compensate. The hotel is a bit run down and dated, not bad but nothing special. We literally only chose it because of the pool. Issues, understandably, arise but the lack of honesty and transparency surrounding the main attraction to this hotel is frustrating. Would encourage future travelers to avoid until the pool is functioning as usual.

Booked this hotel for the outdoor hot tub and nice pool area. Unfortunately both elevators were out of service during our stay and the automatic doors were also not working so made bringing our stuff in and out of the hotel a little challenging.

The property is in need of some updates as it is becoming quite tired looking. During our stay the indoor hottub was closed for maintenance but the outdoor hottub was initially working, then closed for maintenance. Many guests stay at this location for these amenities so it was disappointing not to have access to these over a long holiday weekend.

Hot tub broken which I knew by overhearing conversation between guest and Front desk. Unfortunately, the bar was closed and that’s mainly why I picked over another! I had already walked in and paid. Also, had to cancel debit card because I noticed next day I was charged by your facility for really high amount, and also Hotels.com which I purchased room through. Also, I reported the drain in tub was not draining at all. Manager seemed unfamiliar w how to access menu from room.

Our room was dirty, the carpet looked awful, and I didn't want to touch it with my bare feet! The bathroom smelled of urine, the hot water was nonexistent on Saturday morning, and we had to leave without a shower. There were flies in the room as well and dirty coffee grounds were in the coffee maker.

The staff were friendly. But we were very disappointed that if you wanted a bottle of water or a Soda, you would have to go to a store and buy it. There were no vending machines to buy drinks. This was a surprise when returning back to the Inn once stores were closed. This made the stay very inconvenient. Also, there was no hair dryer in our room. Staff had to find one for us to use. Rooms and pool area were very clean.

The rooms are outdated with peeling, loose wallpaper, old carpet and the beds are very uncomfortable. They need to invest in nice new mattresses. The room was cleaned daily. The coomon areas were nice including pub and grill.

This hotel is very dated and in need of a refresh (carpet, bathroom fixtures). The “4 pools” is very basic, just a shallow kiddie pool, regular pool, indoor hot tub that is abnormally deep (cannot sit on the seating ledge as my head would be under water) and a lovely outdoor hot tub. Bed was not very comfortable, pillows too small and soft.

Room stated that it sleeps 6, two full size beds does not sleep 6. Rooms are small and outdated. Carpets are in rough shape and our toilet broke within the first 10 minutes. We will not be staying here again.

Stayed two nights. The room and washroom were clean, and the staff were friendly. Check-in was smooth and painless. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The AC in my room was extremely loud—woke me up several times the first night. I reported it to the front desk, and they said it would be fixed, but nothing changed. Same issue the second night. I didn’t feel I got value for my money. The swimming pool has very limited and unusual hours, which wasn’t convenient. Also tried Casey’s Grill Bar—disappointing, all the dishes we have tried were mediocre at best . Next time, I’ll be looking elsewhere.

We checked in late, after driving all day, we arrived around 9pm, the pool closed at 10 pm so the kids were still happy to have some swim time before bed. The check in clerk was so lovely, she was having problems with the computers so her manager (it was a night supervisor) came over to help. She was so rude, short and demeaning to both her staff member, then towards me. I was so put off, but we were so tired, or we would have canceled and went elsewhere. It didn't get better from there, the pool staff (1 person, male, young guy) was so hot and bothered by us and the other patrons asking for a towel (they keep those locked up) then told us the pool, sauna and area actually closed 30 minutes earlier then we were told at front desk and what is advertised on their website and the Expedia App (10pm they closed at 930). The whole experience was awful. we went back down to front desk to get snacks and oh boy, you would have thought I asked this women to make my kids doritos from scratch, a whole production! get the binder. get the other binder with prices in in, get your calculator, get yours pen, she huffed the entire time, like ma'am, your ledger is not my fault or problem, this young lady is doing her best (they hotel clerk) and my kids just want some chips. she was insufferable. We stayed in Sault Ste Marie for another 2 nights but made sure to change Hotels. I wouldn't stay here unless I absolutely had too.

Checked in and was told because we booked on expedia we did not qualify for the breakfast in the morning. Called Quattro and asked if this was their policy, and they said every guest, no matter how they book get breakfast in morning. Since rates were same ($240ish) a night, cancelled my return booking at water tower and booked at quattro. Staff here were all very short and rude. Restaurant closes at 10, when we checked in just after 9, unpacked in room and was hoping to get a snack and cold beer, we were turned away. In morning we went to breakfast, which we had no voucher for, the hostess greeted us by saying we are very busy and just sat alot of tables so its going to be a long wait. We said good morning, were hungry and would like a table please. Rooms were very rundown and dated as well. Will defiantely be staying at quattro for now on!!

The Water Tower Inn, is a fantastic location to stay at. There is Walmart 3 minutes drive away. Tim Hortons and McDonald's are across the street. There are also parks close by.

Comfortable stay as expected, disappointing that the pub is not open on a Sunday night. Talking to members of staff its closed even when major sporting events are on. Definately missing out on revenue even on a normal night when people may want to have a beer while watching a game.
