Inside Caingworms National Park, it looks like you are in a wilderness lodge. They serve you a great breakfast of your choosing.

Stayed 2 nights

We stayed for 2 nights and the reception staff were ecellent, friendly and a real credit to the hotel. The room was clean with comfortable beds and convenient parking even when busy A couple of areas for review though as constructive feedback: - the door to the bathroom had a dent in it, like someone had kicked it - the large shower head really could do with a deep clean as the nozzles are back - the sink had a plug on a chain, but there was novent to prevent accidentaly drops in the sink, if you dropped anything, it was lost and joined the lump of soap down there out of reach - the rooms have incredally thin walls, so you can hear whats going on either side, in the hallway, upstairs when they were tap dancing late into the night - it's a shame that smokers are encouraged to gather at the rear door, because they were noisy as it's right outside the room The plus side the flooring was clean and was nice in the bathroom and the beds were really nice Next time the rooms are renovated, please consider additional insulation between the rooms and in the ceiling

Perfect stay, clean and large room, a Plus for the small entrance to keep luggages out of the way. The bathroom was spacious. The staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner was good and very quickly served. Location great 😃

Just ok - dated and basic and in need of maintenance (the fan in the bathroom didn’t work and the bathroom door didn’t close properly). Overall too expensive for what it was. Breakfast was standard but staff were attentive.

Comfy big bed and nice big room. Everything you could want for an overnight stay. Staff were super helpful and friendly and I would say the hotel's biggest asset. The furnishings and decor are a bit tired and dated and really could do with upgrading.
