Hilton Grand Vacations Club Maui Bay Villas

People were complaining about the construction, but it didn't bother us at all. The location was pretty central to all the activities we did. Lahaina was the longest drive at about 35 minutes. Their pool area is beautiful. The room was spacious with a well equipped kitchen. We did not eat at the restaurant or get to check out the adult pool because we were out on excursions every day.

The rooms were very clean, spacious, modern and beautifully decorated. The two bedroom with pullout couch was a bough space for our family of 6. The amenities was what we loved the most. The property was really well done with a huge pool with different areas for adults, families and kids. The pool area also has cabanas, many chairs, a grab and go store, a bar and a menu to order food from. Even more exciting was the Oceanside pool and restaurant across the street. The landscaping made it feel private and it sat next to a small beach area which also felt like a private beach. Our whole family loved this property. We would definitely stay here again!

Probably the nicest vacation suite we've experienced. Fresh, modern, spacious, well equipped - it was everything we needed. Spacious balcony. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Pools were clean and fresh and not crowded. Exceeded our expectations. Would definitely choose this property for our next visit.

Amazing Kihei Maui Hilton Property! We’ve enjoyed Big Island (Waikoloa) grand vacations, but KIHEI by far trumps all! Staff exemplifies ALOHA, kindness & knowledgeable of area! Our Villa exceeded expectations immaculate clean, beautifully done kitchen/bathroom, comfy beds & having washer/dryer is Awesome! Several Pools, adult slide & keiki slides allow entire Ohana to enjoy! Spacious enough don’t feel cramped. Beach access w/additional pool & bar is available 75 steps away (across street)! Love it all, look forward to our next holiday!

Worth the price. Super nice accommodation. The pools were amazing but the pool area could be a little cleaner though.

Great property! Room was very nice. Service was very good on the property. Only complaint was the food and beverage service was minimal. One bar outside of pool closed early, then one restaurant across the street with a great view didn’t open until the afternooon. No poolside service. One small grab & go with limited hours as well. Would still stay again. Hoping limited F&B is temporary while property develops.

The rooms are perfect and the pool area is abundant. It’s a beautiful property. The issue is there is major construction of additional buildings and the roadway. This causes excessive dirt to blow into the pool area and heavy equipment noise all day. It is not currently a peaceful poolside experience. This is not reflected in the pricing. And though not their fault, the main road closure requires detours and it is not walkable to anything (restaurants, shops, etc.). Be prepared to drive.

The properties location is less than ideal. No direct beach access and the beach bar restaurant food was terrible. The pool bar and tall service closed at 6p when the pool is open until 10p. Our stay was 5 days and not once was our room cleaned while we were there. Definitely would not recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Maui.

Great pool and beach area. Easy to make your own meals. Mixed messages from staff on whether we were required to wear a wristband everyday. We stayed for 1 week and they don’t cleanse your room everyday or even a couple days unless you ask (and there was no guarantee they would get to your room).

Property and rooms were beautiful and clean. I had a 2 bedroom suite which was very spacious families. It had all new appliances including full size fridge, oven, microwave, cook stove, washer/dryer. The only thing is they don’t offer daily housekeeping. The resort is huge so that makes sense they can’t clean the rooms daily. At check in, they do ask a day you pick for housekeeping but even with that, housekeeping never came. Service was just a text away. Anything you need, you can text and the staff will bring it immediately. Overall, great stay. Plenty of room to park which was a plus.

The staff are warm in general. We asked for house keeping during the stay and it is never done. Hotel area is in construction.

This place has active construction on the right next to the buliding. It was dusty and noisy during the daytime. Plus, i could hear foot step from the upper floor. Room cleaning lady left and so much dust was rolling on the floor, so i had non stop sneez with dust from the unit and from the construction site where I stayed. I had been Maui more than three times, and I think it could be so much better with this amount of payment. All electronics are brand new and clean, but mattress is not that comfortable

The central location of the resort on the island was perfect for our family. We traveled to the north and south parts for beaches, restaurants and excursions so HGV was great as a central location! Our 2 bedroom villa, in building 3, was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. We have two teenagers who needed their own beds and my husband and I don’t like sharing a bathroom with them! Lol! It was very spacious, so clean and very new. The washer and dryer was a great bonus too!! The property pools were very nice, the beach club had pretty good options for food when we didn’t feel like dining out. The beach across the street from the resort was really nice too. Parking was never a problem for us and the staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. We would most definitely stay here again, if we have the opportunity to come back to Maui!

Liked that the property is new so it is clean and updated. However, there really are limited good views from the rooms - our room's view was the parking lot and as they continue expanding the property (building additional buildings) I think the good views will become even more limited. There is no ocean view as the ocean is across the street and they really is not a beach there

The room itself was excellent. Also, at check-in the attendant (Sharla) went out of her way to help us since I apparently did not actually confirm our booking. She completed our booking and actually saved us some money in doing so....

This property is really built more like a timeshare mini-apartment setup with its built in kitchenette and washer / dryer combo. It’s in a quieter part of Maui so it has more of a laid back feel to it and would suit travelers who really want to have a “home away from home”. Ideal for people who have their own car rental. Nice central location with convenient travel times to different parts of the island. The timeshare “talk” is 90 min for a $300 gift card and discounts to other activities around the island. Supposedly no pressure afterwards but I didn’t personally go to listen to it. The washer has a little separate side box on the wall that you have to activate (press button until it turns green) before the washer will actually run a load. Avoid the “breakfast included” option unless you really love egg McMuffins. The breakfast is made to order at the on-site “grab and go” store (8a - 3p) and is limited specifically to the English muffin breakfast sandwich - choice of bacon, sausage, or ham. No substitutions allowed. Also comes with one canne Aloha fruit drink or a large coffee. The breakfast also ends at 11am but it doesn’t say that anywhere on the voucher. I would suggest Hilton really consider making this arrangement more flexible (i.e. breakfast sandwich or item or cheaper value) instead of being so rigid. After all, wouldn’t you get tired of the same thing day after day? The menu says you can get it with English muffin or bagel. All in all, still a great hotel.

Great customer service and friendly staff. The hotels are so clean and beautiful. It feels luxurious. Would definitely come back to this hotel resort.. Love the pools and hot tubs.

Check-in was not a good event/process. Some of the check in personnel were rude. Had to change rooms as the reservation was for a king room and we were put into a double room. First room did not have working hot water in bathroom. The resort has no beach. Ocean is across the road but no beach. Beach Club (bar/restaurant) was also across the road with limited hours - 3pm to 8pm. There are limited views on the resort. No beach views. Our room view was the parking lot.

Overall, our stay at the hotel was comfortable, but we did run into an issue that left us disappointed. During check-in, the staff didn’t inform us about the amenities and benefits included with our reservation. Unfortunately, we only found out about them toward the end of our stay, which meant we missed out on using several features that could have made our experience even better. While the hotel itself was pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable, clearer communication at the start would have really improved our visit. I’d recommend that the hotel staff make it a point to explain what’s available to guests at check-in so others can enjoy the full experience.

I was nervous about the distance to the beach from this property, along with it is shown as a 2 star hotel. However, we ended up staying in building ten and the walk to everything along the paths wasn't difficult. To get to their beach access area had specific times and to get to the little beach patch wasn't worth it. We did find that once crossing the road, where people stop its the law, to the left is access to a nice beach. We walked both sides multiple times. There is also an area that is rocked off that we went and snorkled in that had turtles by the Whale thing, very walkable to. Even though our room was a resort view, we had a small view of the ocean from our balcony. The room was nice, it was the 2 bedroom with a king and two twins. There is a suggestion for a timeshare when you first check in, they weren't pushy about it. On the day of check out you can still use the property amenities and you can reserve a shower time for the showers in the lobby area to clean off before leaving. All in all it is not a 2 star property, we were very pleased. Only issue was ordering food because the main restaurant closes early week days.

Buildings were only 4 stories, seems like a small community. Close to restaurants and parks

The vila is very new and quite big. The condo is equipped with new kitchen appliances and washer and dryer. It is very clean and room service is good. The problem with the villa is the location. It is not close to shopping. Dining choice is also limited. You need to drive to other area to find more restaurants. Overall it is good experience to stay here to have a relax vacation.

Nice property, close to the ocean, great pools and loved our hotel room. Stayed in a two bedroom / 2 bath. Close drive to Wailea.

Love everything about the hotel, I wish they have more food options, need breakfast lunch dinner and more bars and more things to do! They had no breakfast which was terrible, but it’s the most beautiful amazing place and I would love to stay here again. Hope they have breakfast and more lunch and dinner

The Hilton Grand Vacations is becoming wonderful! The units are incredible. We enjoyed a lovely two bedroom unit with balcony and full kitchen which was perfect for our family. The pools are lovely and my kids enjoyed the water slide! Food options are a bit limited and though breakfast is included it was only a breakfast sandwich ticket which did not accommodate all of my family. The property does has construction beside which wasn’t a huge bother in terms of noise but does make it messy near the waterfront. Beach was a bit of a disappointment. The Beach Bar was amazing!

Amazing rooms, but that's it. The overall resort is not confortable, beach access is cumbersome with a road on the middle and a tiny beach. Room service is a joke. And on a resort like this not having a restaurant and worse not proposing a nice breakfast buffet is a total nonsense. You can get a fast-food style grab and go to pay with no charm at all (and only after 8AM).

Amazing stay. The hotel is new, so everything is "shining." We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, and it was terrific. The only concern is that the restaurant at the complex works until 3:00 pm, and after that, you have to go out or call for a food delivery.

We could definitely see ourselves coming back. Great pool. Great location. They are under staffed and they do not have good food available so I would recommend being prepared to cook in your own room. Room was a great size and quiet.
