Stayed 1 night

I had just stayed there 5 nights prior in a different room. The room for this second stay was quite a different experience. We were on the first floor which was fine. In the first five minutes in the room I killed two spiders. There was a long black bug in the bathroom, along the tub, that was also addressed. There was a spiders nest up by the ceiling over the toilet and the beginning of black mold there and on the ceiling at the back of the tub. I need to use a cpap machine to sleep and needed to locate a plug. The ones provided in the base of the lamp would not support it. I slid the nightstand out a bit to access the plug there but the amount of dust and filth back there was disgusting. I didn’t want to put my hand down there for the plug. I have stayed at dozens of Hilton properties in my lifetime and never had this experience. I don’t know who manages the housekeeping staff at this particular location but they have a lot to learn about supervision of staff and maintaining standards. I may need to rethink my previous review about staying here again.

My experience was ok. I’m not a fan of no one being at the desk when you arrive to check in. You stand there and wait until they eventually see you on the security camera and come out to the desk. This may be a security measure for them, I don’t know. The room was ok, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Standard comp breakfast options. I would stay there again for the convenience it provided. If I hadn’t booked through hotels.com and paid the full rate Hilton was asking, it would be a different story.

The biggest problem was just the noise of the HVAC system, which sounded like a train passing by or a jet plane landing!
