First 2 rooms we were given had not been made up from previous guest. Third room we got on another floor was good. Was a little frustrating after an eight hour drive. Hotel decent just believe they had a maid not doing their job. People smoking in the pool. If you stay here, hopefully you find a place to park in the front. Back lot very sketchy. Not a bad stay after the initial issues.

Handicapped parking spaces are for individuals with properly displayed placards or license plates, not for business travelers. When someone with a handicap is forced to park behind the building, this is in violation of law. Those parking in the handicapped spaces should have been forced to move. And, those working at the front desk for check in should know the English language.

Room seemed clean; bed more firm then I care for. Carpet in room & hall need replaced-tears & threadbare in places. Only pull down shade on window, no blackout drapes so parking lot lights shining in made sleeping difficult. Breakfast was just ok. Convenient to interstate, parking not easy. I usually like Comfort Inns, but this one was a bit of a disappointment-not sure I would stay here again.

The place was gross. The room (the second we were moved too after the first smelled like cigarettes really strong) smelled like mildew so strong. Floors were dirty. Shower stall was dirty with handprints near where you pull the shower curtain. Pool was closed -- indefinitely. It looked and smelled like a swamp. Take it off the website if it's closed, indefinitely. Breakfast was lacking, no regular coffee only decaf. After I made a point to check out and back in before we left for the 18 hour day we had, we were locked out of our room at 2 am and had to re-check in. Hairs were embedded in the towels (and they were not ours). Third floor was 30 degrees hotter than the first floor. Just super disappointing.

I booked this hotel on the fly using the app from the rest area north of here and showed up at around 10:00 p.m. I was efficiently checked in and quickly settled in for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was ready to go at 0600 so I could make another early start on my multi-day cross country drive. I think this was the safest hotel in Alabama with so many county sheriffs represented in the parking lot and the breakfast area. Unrelated to the property, I was rear ended just down the street. My vehicle survived with cosmetic damage, but the VW Golf that hit me had significant damage so a police report was required. Kudos to the Fultondale police department for their rapid response to a fender-bender.

It was fairly quite and the pool was nice temperture and clean . One complaint would be the tv which netflix worked one day and not the other ..over good for the price

Average facility. Not terrible but definitely not great. Mattress/bedding was good. Pillows small but fluffy. Only stayed 1 night. Could not control the a/c. It did get a little warm a couple of times during the night but we only stayed 1 night so didn’t worry about it. Did not stay for breakfast as the room above us literally stomped around from 2-4am so we just decided to take off early. Outback Steakhouse is right next door so that was convenient Parking was lit & decent but had a truck pulling a trailer that took up like 8-9 spots. Planters out front had dead plants in them. lol. Definitely wasn’t a welcoming ambience. Probably wouldn’t stay again as it wasn’t up to our standards.

There were a multitude of issues with our rooms upon arrival. 1) Roaches in one of our rooms. 2) Hair in several of the showers upon arrival. 3) Sticky spots on carpeting and nightstands. 4) A broken drawer on the floor of one of the bathrooms. 5) A room that smelled heavily of cigarettes. This was the only room with that strong of a smell, but all of the rooms had some sort of unpleasant odor (mold, mildew, etc.). 6) Doors that were so warped they couldn't properly close. This was particularly worrisome as I brought a group of 17 high schoolers who could not feel safe in a hotel room with a door that remained open. The staff was quick to offer a new room that didn't smell, but the other rooms were in very poor shape. I was very grateful that we were only in this hotel for one night, because if we had booked a longer stay, I would have moved us to the Hampton next door.

As soon as we walked in there was an overpowering smell of cigarettes and Marijuana . I have stage 3 copd so this is a major issue. We have been staying at this location for years and it has never been this bad. In our room we found dental floss picks between mattress and fitted sheet. Receipts from previous guest on floor and pee all over toilet seat. I was so tired I just slept on other bed and did not use restroom. For the price this is highly unacceptable and we will probably never stay here again. Sad since I only come in town to visit my daughter at college and for work

The carpet was not clean and the tiles in the bathroom had not been mopped. The shower knob would not go to hot so you go a luke warm shower. The breakfast that was to served at 6:00 am was cold you had to put what food that was out in the microwave.... Very disappointed

Upon arriving, the property is easy to park. It looks clean. The lobby looked clean upon first entering our room. The air conditioner was set to 60° blowing on high and it was very chilly. Come to find out when when I was barefoot and I walked near the air conditioner of the carpet was really wet. It had been raining really hard so we called the front desk and the clerk said that some of the rooms leak. We of course turned the air conditioner down to a normal 72° for us and then the room started smelling kind of musty from that water building up. There were little 2 x 4 blocks propping up the air conditioner and the bottom of the blocks was soaked. Brought it to the attention of the clerk upon checkout and he was gesturing that he was writing it down, but it just seemed confusing because the night clerk knew that some of the rooms leak and they obviously aren’t doing anything about it. It’s a shame I wanted to give a better review because visually it looked nicer than the experience was.

I love the location of this property. It is right off of the interstate and close to shopping and restaurants. What I disliked about my stay was the noise. I was on the second floor and the guest upstairs from me were not quiet. They had kids and they ran and jumped up and down all night long. It was hard to sleep and when I finally did get to sleep, they were back at it in the morning. Next time I'll request to stay on the top floor.

The person I talked to on the phone letting the hotel know we would be late was really nice. To check out, I waited 10 minutes before a cleaning person asked if I had been helped yet. I feel someone should be at the front during check out time.

One bed seemed wore out, it seemed the workers were out away from desk a lot. I couldn’t find them to do a checkout. Note left on counter they were busy. I was in a hurry so I left keys on desk, and didn’t get a receipt. I wouldn’t stay there again. The workers couldn’t tell us anything about the area. Not a norms stay for Comfort Inns. Breakfast was terrible! Nobody working it to complain to either. Orange juice like water, eggs and sausage wasn’t good.

Upon arrival we noticed a couple of shady people hanging around in the parking lot. Didn’t feel safe at all. Next upon entering into the room there was mildew odor. We were given an handicap room that we didn’t request. We asked for two additional wash clothes at which the attendant asked us to return to her the next morning, which I found very odd. The towels would be with the other dirty towels the next morning, but she insisted that we bring them to her. The only thing this hotel has going for them is that they are near the highway.

Quick, friendly staff. More breakfast options. And make sure staff monitors temperatures and hold times of Breakfast foods. Juice machine ran out of product. Otherwise, great value and good service.
