the hotel is great, just be aware that the surrounding streets smell bad and sometimes boys drinking beer on the sidewalks can shout at you as you walk by.

Ive come to Marseille to visit my friend. For my stay, I wanted a hotel tjat was quite close to Saint Charles station and was an affordable proce. I booked Ibis via hotel.com and it disappoint. I arrived in the evening. The receptionist was very friendly , spoke good english and was very helpful. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat offering cereals, toast, pastries, coffee and juices. I would definitely recommend this hotel. *5 all the way!

Great location. Metro station just a short walk away which takes you straight to train station. Bus takes you straight to beach and Olympic site in other direction. Great restaurants nearby; we used Namaste; Wasabi; Le Caucase and all were great. Small convenience shop right opposite the hotel and big market just around corner. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast nothing special but included in price and certainly adequate. Worthy of note, the breakfast staff kept the supplies constantly well-stocked and very clean. Room and bathroom adequate and clean, although the bathroom was quite small and in need of a little attention. We were on 6th floor and room was very quite. Air-conditioning much appreciated as temperature was in the 30s.

Very convenient location for public transport to the football stadium.
