Parking is a problem so if you’re coming with a car be warned. I was under the impression that they had a designated lot for the hotel but the parking lot is public and down below about a 8 minute walk up a wooded path and payable by meter (the escalator that is normally there is of course broken, like the spirit of this hotel) We had major flight delays and got in very late (23:30). We were exhausted after 24 hours straight of travel and the front desk assistant offered no help with parking or luggage. In fact, no one ever offered help for anything period. We dropped our bags and took the excursion to the parking area below and then walked up a steep, unlit trail to the hotel in the dark. The front desk told us we would have to feed the meter at 8am to not get a ticket. He never mentioned that there was an app we could download to pay the meter which would have saved my husband an early rise and another hike down and up the hill. Our room was small ( double superior) and barely navigable with suitcases. The room felt dated. The hotel lobby is beautiful I wish our room reflected the lobby aesthetic. Breakfast was nice with a view. Overall the hospitality failed and I would not recommend this place to stay. I wanted to love it but overall staff seemed inconvenienced by us and unhelpful.

Easy access to the main vicola and park. the staff is attentive and helpful, especially with travel coordination to and from Cortona-Camucia rail station. Having stayed in Cortona many times, I recommend it
