Room was super clean, bed was comfy. Housekeeping was done daily. The housemaid even arranged my PJs on the bed as I left them on the floor which was a nice touch. Staff was really accomodating, although at night there is only one guy at the front desk. Pool was nice, it was not heated, but refreshing nonetheless. Furniture around the property are showing their age, specially in the pool and in my room at least. Rooms are air conditioned, which is nice given the heat of the area. There is a supermarket a block away with all the usual necessities. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was okay, although they open late (7am) and prices are on the pricey side for what it is (60 quetzales + tip per person). Overall I would stay again if the price is right.

I felt so comfortable in this hotel! The rooms were very nice and I slept amazing in the comfortable beds. The staff was always helpful and attentive, helped to organise trips etc. Not everyone spoke English, but they truly did their best to overcome language barriers and there wasn't a situation that wasn't solvable. I loved the patio and the pool. Reading in the hammocks in the evening was a dream!

My stay was very pleasant. The property is conveniently located within walking distance of the mall, supermarkets, and the island. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool area was enjoyable. It’s a lovely, cozy place overall. Because it is close to the street, there is some traffic noise, but it did not significantly affect my stay. Great place to stay with big patio. Well kept. Traditional, rustic, clean property, clean rooms, clean pool. Lovely balconies with hammocks and seating area. Family place. Great location. Walking distance to stores, grocery store, mall, Flores island, bus terminal, the main road to the highway. Great price. Great place for hosting events. Easy to get to and catch taxies or tuk tuks. I plan to return and enjoy more.

Pictures don’t do this place justice! The courtyard area is stunning and the pool is very clean with some shaded spots to avoid direct sun exposure. There is free drinking water provided also. The beds in the rooms are incredibly luxurious and comfortable - the best we’ve had on our trip in Guatemala so far. Bathroom is very clean as well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful in answering questions. La Isla de Flores is only a 15 min walk away - and the hotel is a 3-5 min drive from the airport via tuk tuk (about 10-15 qtz per person). Cannot recommend this place enough!

Very quiet and peaceful, a five minute walk from the island of Flores - TI really appreciated how quiet it was.he hotels on the island of Flores can be noisy and a bit smelly because of backed up water, whereas this hotel is just on the mainland, but very close to the road to Flores. They have a very secure parking lot about 100 m away and there are a number of restaurants nearby. The hotel has an indoor pool and a large central garden patio. I really appreciated how quiet it was.

Deux épiceries sont a proximité. Chambre très propre et assez spacieuse. Service de ménage à tous les jours. De l'eau est fournie aux clients. La piscine est fraîche et propre. L'ambiance est comme perçue sur les photos. Seul point négatif, les avions passent directement au dessus de l'établissement alors c'est bruyant, quoique très impressionnant aussi.

Great place, good value, nice pool,quick walk to shops,super helpful reception, breakfast was huge. Super comfy beds and really clean rooms.we stayed two nites and went to Tikal. Took a tuk tuk to the island for the bus to tikal.easy.

The staff were really polite and helpful, and the place was clean and comfy. The tv remote didn't work to turn on the tv however, and there was no toilet paper when we first checked in, but front desk helped us to acquire some. The shower also didn't drain at first, and my husband had to unclog it. Our soap was also missing the second day after the cleaning of the room. But overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and the staff were very polite, helpful, and friendly. I would still consider staying there again.

The location is great. 20 mins walk to the airport, 15-20 mins to Flores Island, plenty of food options nearby. Comfiest beds in all of South America. The only issue was a musky smell in the room, especially if you dared to open the drawers

it’s actually a lovely place but the night we stayed there was a lot of noise in the room through the window, and not to mention an airplane late as it’s close to the airport… we had to have a 6 AM flight so it wasn’t a great sleep.. but if you can move through that and noise doesn’t bother you, it’s a great place

Rooms dark and badly lit, bathrooms have only a tiny window.. The female manager is superb but the rest of the team are not aware of what a hotel should be. Drunk guest smoking by pool on phone very loudly with 8 beer cans and when I complained (no smoking signs everywhere) they just kept bringing him beer. They are kind and willing but definitely not a professional team. Breakfast isn’t great, you have to order your meal the night before. Pool is lovely, it is the only redeeming feature. Overall not a recommend.

Internettet på værelset virkede knapt nok, hvilket trækket ret meget ned. Også kom der næsten intet vand ud af bruseren, og da vi checkede ind på værelset havde de ikke sat noget badeforhæng op. Udover dette var opholdet fint og flotte værelser samt renligt.

Liked the hotel's location to all the businesses, walking distance to many convenient businesses, unfortunately for us, they were working on the internet service, but didn't advise us of the process & as a result our internet service was interrupted in the latter part of the night, especially when we needed it the most. The pool was nice,though..

we got great service from the hotel staff specially this being our first time they gave us very good recommendations as to visiting the main attractions and finding a excellent tour to go see the sunrise riding between the pyramids and see the animals and all that beautiful environment
we got great service from the hotel staff specially this being our first time they gave us very good recommendations as to visiting the main attractions and finding a excellent tour to go see the sunrise riding between the pyramids and see the animals and all that beautiful environment

We had an overall excellent stay at Hotel del Patio. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the amenities were top-notch. However, we encountered some challenges with early check-in. Since we traveled for a medical procedure, having early access to the room for the patient to rest would have been ideal. While we understand policies can vary, greater flexibility in this area would significantly enhance the experience for guests in similar circumstances. Despite this, our stay was pleasant, and we would gladly return.

Liked the hotel's location to all the businesses, walking distance to many convenient businesses, unfortunately for us, they were working on the internet service, but didn't advise us of the process & as a result our internet service was interrupted in the latter part of the night, especially when we needed it the most. The pool was nice,though..

it’s actually a lovely place but the night we stayed there was a lot of noise in the room through the window, and not to mention an airplane late as it’s close to the airport… we had to have a 6 AM flight so it wasn’t a great sleep.. but if you can move through that and noise doesn’t bother you, it’s a great place

Pictures don’t do this place justice! The courtyard area is stunning and the pool is very clean with some shaded spots to avoid direct sun exposure. There is free drinking water provided also. The beds in the rooms are incredibly luxurious and comfortable - the best we’ve had on our trip in Guatemala so far. Bathroom is very clean as well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful in answering questions. La Isla de Flores is only a 15 min walk away - and the hotel is a 3-5 min drive from the airport via tuk tuk (about 10-15 qtz per person). Cannot recommend this place enough!

Room was super clean, bed was comfy. Housekeeping was done daily. The housemaid even arranged my PJs on the bed as I left them on the floor which was a nice touch. Staff was really accomodating, although at night there is only one guy at the front desk. Pool was nice, it was not heated, but refreshing nonetheless. Furniture around the property are showing their age, specially in the pool and in my room at least. Rooms are air conditioned, which is nice given the heat of the area. There is a supermarket a block away with all the usual necessities. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was okay, although they open late (7am) and prices are on the pricey side for what it is (60 quetzales + tip per person). Overall I would stay again if the price is right.

Great hotel, close to everything, I was bummed to find out there is no restaurant, even though here and Google has pics and is described as having a restaurant. I actually booked specifically for the convenience of that before catching an early flight.

Room was comfortable --- inside patio very relaxing and beautiful. Quiet and clean. Staff helpful. We were disappointed there was no restaurant as stated but enjoyed dinner at hotel right down the street on the lake.

Everything was very good, the bed is marvelous, by far the best and comfiest bed…the only bad thing is that I checked the box where it said “Breakfast included” and made sure I was choosing a location that had that option, and when I got there and on a chat conversation with the property, they said they “didn’t” see I chose that option, plus, the cook didn’t work on Saturdays, I ended up without any options and didn’t eat breakfast. It’s not ok to sell something if the property doesn’t have it or isn’t even capable of doing something. When looking for this property, it clearly states “breakfast included”, but it clearly isn’t.

El desayuno hay que pedirlo y pagarlo al momento del check in. Es bastante básico y escaso. En cualquier lugar se come mejor. No parece de la cadena de Camino Real. Tampoco tienen servicio de traslados.

The front desk attendant just goes through the motions. He did not get up to let us in the front door, we had to wait for another guest to arrive and let us in. AC is great, beds are nice, showers are average. Super close to the airport.

Hotel del patio was a beautiful quaint hotel in a wonderful location walking distance to downtown Flores. It was extremely clean and very friendly people. I wish we were able to stay longer than 2 days!
