We stopped in for a night in our way back home from Scotland. The cottage provides plenty of room for a family and has a living area and full kitchen with washing machine. Parking is easy and plentiful. We had dinner in the pub as well, which was good pub food and there is a good kids menu.

2 night stay Cornhill on Tweed ( near Berwick upon Tweed). Bluebell Inn Fabulous old coaching inn. Great food, gd pricing. Lovely food, Excellent & very friendly hosts. 25mins on average to historical sites like Bamburgh Castle, Lindisfarne & The Battle of Flodden.

Fantastic wee inn, very comfortable, clean, warm rooms with big beds and great shower room/toilet. We arrived very late so didn’t get to enjoy the pub but it looks very cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and lots of choices. Host was brilliant, accommodating us arriving late and cooking our delicious breakfast. I hope we have need to come back!

We stayed in the cottage for one night as a break on our journey to Aberdeenshire from Hampshire. The cottage is lovely, very clean and even has a fuzeball table which our teenage sons loved. We received a warm welcome including our dog. There are TVs in all the rooms and a very well equipped kitchen. If you don’t want to cook, try the food in the pub, that also was excellent and great value.

I stayed here for three nights B&B. My room was clean and appeared to have been renovated and decorated in recent times. The room had a double and single bed making it a little cramped. The bathroom was modern with an easy to operate shower. Being at the front of the pub, there was some noise from the A697. Breakfast was included in the price, and was excellent along with the service. I had one evening meal here which took was excellent.

The check-in was easy. We arrived around 8:00 and asked about eating dinner. They stated as long as we got done there before 8:30. Breakfast was included, but we were leaving prior to serving time (we were leaving at 7:00). No discount or other options for a "to go" breakfast were offered. The room was extremely hot, but a fan was provided in the room which was nice. The shower was outstanding! The beds were comfortable.

The dinner and breakfast were both, substantial and good quality. The staff were friendly and chatty. The quality of the room was excellent, although the bright fire exit sign didn't aid dropping off to sleep and the bathroom heated towel rail wasn't on, so the bathroom was cold. I didn't see the area around the property so i couldn't comment.

We had a lovely stay the room was clean and comfortable and much bigger than you would normally get.(room4) super king and king bed in our room. . Breakfast was great and we ate at the hotel a couple of nights, food was lovely. Staff very helpful. Great location for exploring the area.

Our first time at the Blue Bell, but won’t be our last! Really comfortable beds and pillows in a nice room with a lovely new bathroom. Food was excellent and all the staff, from Keith , the landlord, down, are friendly, kind and helpful, and all were happy in their jobs. We will be back!

The staff were excellent, particularly Tess who I met on arrival at the hotel, she showed me to my room and explained everything I needed to know. The room including the en-suite shower room were decorated to a very good standard. My only issue which was more of an Expedia problem was that the location was not as close to the postcode area that I entered, therefore was a further travel than I expected. However the hotel and accommodation provided was very good.

We were pleasantly surprised with our room,it was of good size and and airy with a view of the garden.The shower was amazing - large,easy to use and good pressure.The breakfast would have fed a family and was beautifully cooked and presented. The only drawback to our stay was the evening meal on our last night,the meal arrived after we had waited a considerable time,the mashed potato potato was dry and lumpy and the pie overcooked.The place was very busy and had minimal staff which I felt was a major contribution to this problem.Overall our stay was enjoyable and the staff were great,pleasant and friendly.Yes,I would stay again and intend to in the immediate future

Solo walking trip around Lindisfarne and Berwick. Booked for 2 nights and couldn’t have been happier! Really friendly and helpful staff, cheapest accommodation in the area that I could find which is always a bonus! Well situated not far from Coldstream on the English/Scottish Border and about 30 mins drive from Lindisfarne. Free breakfast included and the room was cleaned daily. Bed in single room may need to be changed soon as it seems to be on the way out but still slept fine nonetheless. Very happy with my stay!
Solo walking trip around Lindisfarne and Berwick. Booked for 2 nights and couldn’t have been happier! Really friendly and helpful staff, cheapest accommodation in the area that I could find which is always a bonus! Well situated not far from Coldstream on the English/Scottish Border and about 30 mins drive from Lindisfarne. Free breakfast included and the room was cleaned daily. Bed in single room may need to be changed soon as it seems to be on the way out but still slept fine nonetheless. Very happy with my stay!

We had a lovely stay the room was clean and comfortable and much bigger than you would normally get.(room4) super king and king bed in our room. . Breakfast was great and we ate at the hotel a couple of nights, food was lovely. Staff very helpful. Great location for exploring the area.

Lovely welcome upon arrival and shown to a beautiful room with more than everything that we required. Very clean and comfortable - had the best nights sleep. Lovely bar with log fire and a gorgeous evening meal. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend. We will be staying again.

We stopped in for a night in our way back home from Scotland. The cottage provides plenty of room for a family and has a living area and full kitchen with washing machine. Parking is easy and plentiful. We had dinner in the pub as well, which was good pub food and there is a good kids menu.

We were pleasantly surprised with our room,it was of good size and and airy with a view of the garden.The shower was amazing - large,easy to use and good pressure.The breakfast would have fed a family and was beautifully cooked and presented. The only drawback to our stay was the evening meal on our last night,the meal arrived after we had waited a considerable time,the mashed potato potato was dry and lumpy and the pie overcooked.The place was very busy and had minimal staff which I felt was a major contribution to this problem.Overall our stay was enjoyable and the staff were great,pleasant and friendly.Yes,I would stay again and intend to in the immediate future

Very nice room which was warm and cosy. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast during our stay and both meals were delicious. Breakfast portions were enormous. We’d stay again.

Our first time at the Blue Bell, but won’t be our last! Really comfortable beds and pillows in a nice room with a lovely new bathroom. Food was excellent and all the staff, from Keith , the landlord, down, are friendly, kind and helpful, and all were happy in their jobs. We will be back!

Fabulous comfy bed, clean modern bathroom and great shower. Fridge in the room was a pleasant surprise and very useful. Staff very friendly, lovely breakfast and dinner, would definitely stay again.
