Front end staff super friendly and helpful! Hotel a bit dated but the rooms were still nice and clean. The pool however was gross, i think maybe the filters werent working properly. Very dirty water, so if you are wanting a hotel for a pool definitely go elsewhere. Great views and close to downtown.

Very large hotel, elevator slow at times. We were on 2nd floor, but elevator only went to 4, lobby and exit on 5, so we had to go up ramps and stairs. Not convenient

Pleasant enough, but issues with the pool. Freezing cold and the hot tub was closed. The inclusive breakfast selection was very limited, and at peak times ran out of food meaning long waits. Stayed on floor 3 near the pool, views of the water were limited due to the roof of the restaurant.

Hotel is undergoing renovations, and I would love to come back when they are done. Property is right in the water, and the views are amazing. Restaurant views are incredible. As I say, once the renos are done, this will be an amazing place.

Expedia didn’t put on the website that the pool was closed. The pool was the only reason I wanted to stay there so that was a big disappointment. Breakfast was OK, nothing to write home about.

The restaurant was closed the day we arrived. No gym. No hot tub. The spa was closed. Our view was an outdoor building and a dumpster blocking the view of the ocean. The road to the main parking was closed and when open water was pouring down the road and only one lane open the whole time we were there. We asked for room cleaning and a bag of garbage was left in our room. The towels were horrible, thin and scratchy, like they were used a million times. The hallway was dingy and ugly looking. The elevator does not go to the floor where you check in and you have to walk down a few flights of stairs with your baggage to use the elevator. When checking out they said they could not print off our receipt we had to get it through Expedia. Only after insisting wanting a print copy then it was printed. Horrible experience and do not recommend. The staff do not care it is like they have given up on the place. Do not pay to stay here. Do not recommend this place it is more like a motel. So disappointing. We would have checked out but nothing else was available or we would have left as soon as we got there. Horrible hotel.

Great location, staff were nice and helpful. Hot tub was "broken" and one of the reasons I chose hotel. I suspect the business has no interest in fixing it, becauw it costs $$ to operate. For $300+ a night, this "hotel" is definitely not worth it.

Very tired and stale smelly air. First issue was giant spider in the bathroom. Carpet was very old. Stains on the chair, furniture was dated and tired. Bathroom was clean but dated and tiles had dark mildew. Thankfully the mattress had plastic covers otherwise I would not have stayed. View of the water was overlooking roof of restaurant and the smell of the restaurant loomed in the air. Sat on the balcony and air conditioner was at head level and too noisy to enjoy. Asked advise on area restaurants to eat salmon. little knowledge on options I searched on google and thankfully found a wonderful restaurant.

The common areas were pretty dirty and shabby (stains/drips on the walls, dirty old carpet etc), but to be fair they appear to be renovating so perhaps that will be addressed soon. The room was clean and nice, but the shower pressure was extremely poor, couldn’t properly rinse all the shampoo out of my hair. View was nice as long as you didn’t look down to see the dirty roof and buildings below. Highlight was the Staff, they were friendly and check in/out was quick and painless.

Room was clean and front staff was excellent. Room had some new renovations like floor, wall unit and headboard. Bathroom showed its age though. Hallways in resort are old and walls are damaged

The whole place was just damp. The rooms had been redone, but they desperately need dehumidifiers. The hallways smelled and looked really rough. I could hear the people in the room beside us using the washroom. The breakfast was seriously underwhelming.

The property was pet friendly which I noticed a lot of dogs on this stay. I did hear them outside the balcony a lot on my stay this time. Staff was great and my room was clean however I did notice a plastic ring from a bottle cap on carpet wasn’t cleaned up from a prior visit other than that it was ok. The balconies could be cleaned as well there was an insane amount of webs and debris on mine. I did go out there to sit but was aware of all this.

We spent one night at the hotel and were very pleased. The hotel is definitely older, but the room was comfortable and the bed was excellent. We like a firmer mattress and we slept very well. It was also quiet. We didn’t try the breakfast nor the pool

The 'complimentary' breakfast was not good. Hotel is in two sections, it's a bit confusing getting from one section to the other. Unfortunately our room (2nd floor) was under the ballroom and there was a wedding, the music and dancing was loud, so if you are booking here call the hotel to confirm your room. Wasn't worth the $100+ a night more compared to the other hotels in the same area.

Room is overlooking the ocean. It was just beautiful. Soaker tub was very lovely. There’s stairs to the top three floors. Was very good quality for the cost. Breakfast is included, but the pancakes and the toast were good.

All staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a very positive experience. Breakfeast was included and was very good. It had a restaurant and the food was exceptional. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. The room was clean and was quite large. All in all it was great. I would recommend this hotel

Amazing view in the lobby and the room. Friendly helpful staff at the front desk and in the halls and outside. So pleasant. Immaculate room, comfortable beds and everything you could ask for. Inviting, clean, and large room for the whole family’s comfort as there was a king bed in a separate bedroom for privacy. Reasonably priced and the complimentary light breakfast was perfect. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Great place!

I had such a comfortable and relaxing stay. All the staff were so kind and accommodating. Great little restaurant for food and beverage. Close to most things. Beds were comfy and clean. Fresh sheets and towels that smelled nice. No one bothered me as I was resting post work. I will come back here anytime I’m in town.

The recently renovated rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. Great view over the water. Location was conveniently close to tourist attractions and restaurants. The front desk staff person Laura was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated having breakfast included, but the breakfast options were limited and identical each day. We enjoyed the pool but were disappointed that the hot tub was out of order.

Most of the staff on the reception desk were unfriendly and unhelpful. We were unaware that there was no lift and would not have booked here if we had known. We arrived late in the evening after a 24 hour journey with 3 suitcases and handluggage and was told there was no lift and no help was offered with our cases, as pensioners with a degree of walking difficulties this was very unhelpful and the staff on was indifferent and bordering on rude! The food in the restaurant was very average. Would not recommend this hotel at all and there was also building work going on which was noisy and dirty!

This property was not as advertised. Firstly lift was broken, told not to leave suitcases in car. Asked for assistance to get cases to second level and finally after few phone calls maintenance came( he was fabulous). Didn’t return my id when checking in, went back to get it, young girl behind counter was too interested in playing on phone. I went back to car, checked again, went back inside, still on phone, I asked her to have a better look. Still said not there, I moved a piece of paper on desk and there it was. Shrug of the shoulders is all I got from her. When showering noticed The grout in the bathroom was mouldy. Totally disgusted with whole experience, will never go back and would never recommend, in fact would tell people to avoid. I did tell them on checking out all the above

Desk service was helpful and staff in the restaurant were fantastic. Nice to have an included breakfast with options to upscale to something with more fresh food included. The waterfront view from the rooms and restaurant are fantastic - a real attraction for the Inn, as is the location in town, minutes from the recreation centre and other amenities.

This was a convenient place to spend a quick overnight stop in Campbell River. I wouldn't consider it a "destination" hotel, but it was a comfortable place to spend the night. The complimentary continental breakfast was OK, but it served its purpose of filling us up before we hit the road.

Great spot for a stay on our road trip. Nice view from our room and sat in the patio. To eat dinner. The bartender and server on Wednesday night were super fun and very accommodating. Even if the kitchen didn’t know they served Cajun wings!! Amazing view from the restaurant.

Location and view were beautiful and our room was in good condition although the exterior of the property (balcony) are showing some age. Our only issue with our stay was our complimentary breakfast. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast from 7-10am through their hotel as a buffet style in addition to a la carte for those who want to order/pay for a different meal. On our first morning the buffet breakfast at 9:30 was simple but good (eggs, pancakes, amazing homefries, toast, cereal and juice). Adding a fruit would have been great. The second day the breakfast was non-existent as of 9:30 and they didn’t seem to have any intention of restocking any of the food items. Many people stood and waited but nothing else was added.

A little outdated, but property was clean. The free breakfast was disappointing - the selection was limited, eggs were cold, restaurant staff & service was almost non-existent. No explanation or effort from restaurant staff regarding where to get continental breakfast. Had to go find a server to request to order from the menu.

I like they take dogs, the location, the view. They need to have a microwave for use on the included breakfast because the food, eggs, pancakes etc is not even warm. No meat in the breakfast items.

Great location, close to city, shops and restaurants overlooking the ocean. Staff were friendly and room was clean. Overall the building could use some upgrades. We were advised upon arrival that the restaurant was closed due to renovations and the hot tub had been closed which was disappointing.
