Room needed updating , skirting boards were scrapped and damaged , sink was cracked . Whole place needing a good refurbishment. Was not as we thought it would be and no en-suite so shared a toilet in the corridor with others . Was expensive for what we had

Stayed 1 night

This was an overnight stay between locations and definitely an overpriced stay at £123.00 for one night! The room appeared ok, until you actually looked around and noticed the bathroom window was broken, the shower door was hanging off and there was dirt and debris everywhere. It was also noticed there was pieces of toilet tissue stuffed into the gaps of the plastic beading around the shower & ceiling and the toilet roll holder was installed pointing upwards! It was noticed that there was thick fluff behind the single bed. The staff were standing outside the property smoking and on their phones on arrival and only came in to give us the room key. There was no assistance offered to my 84 year old Father who's luggage had to be carried upstairs by his 2 daughters! There was nobody available on the front desk either. We had to leave the hotel and walk to the local Tesco 200 yards away to get food as we had not eaten all day. There were some Indian & Chinese restaurants not far in either direction.
