The location of The Maven was ideal. Walking distance to Coors Field, Union Station, the convention center and the Pavilion at 16th St Mall. The hotel itself is super cool with tons of places to eat and drink. Free coffee at Huckleberry every morning and cocktail hour 4-6 every evening with a token for a free drink. Additional discounts including buy 2 drinks at Poco Lola get an appetizer for free. Overall an amazing experience

Wonderful service at the front desk. They upgraded our room for our anniversary and were super friendly and helpful. The Dairy Block has everything you need without even leaving the building. The complimentary car service is awesome!

I loved how genuine the front desk workers were! This hotel was so generous with the 2 free beers in your room, complimentary water in your room, and the daily housekeeping (upon request), and it was the perfect hotel to stay at when going to a Rockies game. Their gym was also so amazing, they had everything you could imagine. I have never been to a hotel gym that was this nice. I really wished I could've stayed longer. I can't wait to go out to Denver again because I found my go-to hotel spot.

Loved how convenient the location was to all the things. Really the hotel itself has everything you could need! Multiple dining options, bars and sitting areas. Walkable to everything! Convenient garage parking that only cost us $10 a night! A great location for baseball games! A++++

Beautiful boutique hotel. Funky vibe in the lobby connected to the Milk Market. The gym was great and had everything you needed and more. Rooms were comfortable. Location was great. 2 blocks from coors stadium and a few blocks walk to union station. Staff at the front desk were Helpful and kind.

This is the second time I have stayed at The Maven and honestly this time was disappointing. The property itself is amazing and has so many cool things around it, it was our room that was an utter disappointment. We stayed in a craftsmen and our room was so dirty. Along the wall where the carpet meets the base board you could tell had maybe never been vacuumed. There was such a thick build up of dirt and dust on the carpet. We had a shower that was its own separate entity in the room and the carpet along the edge of it had mold all over it. The shower obviously leaks in several spots to cause the mold in the edge of the carpet. The shower floor was not very clean especially in the corners where you could see built up dust and hair from previous users. The last time I stayed here I had two rooms and I never noticed either room being that disgustingly dirty. It costs a lot of money to stay at this hotel so I expected my room to be much cleaner and well kept, so overall just a disappointment. I do suggest staying here though, it’s a very cool hotel in an awesome area!

Hotel is very nice. Our room was dusty, corners of room were not vacuumed properly! Windows were dirty! For the price of staying there I would expect more cleaning to be done! Bath tub would drain very slow! Staff were very nice!

I arrived late. The room I paid for was not ready. Everything was on top of the counter like they just finished cleaning (toilet paper holder, toilet seat, chairs, trash cans.) All the drawers were pulled out and all the lights were on. I thought at first they gave me an occupied room.

Our room was dated and not that clean! We coughed the entire stay, so animals had been in the room. You pay to be downtown Denver! Floors were dirty. The staff is what makes this place a 5 star, however dog friendly rooms are not good for people with allergies and asthma. There is turnover in the places to eat inside the Dairy block with new restaurants coming in the area.

We got a suite and it was very spacious and comfortable. However I was puzzled by a few things: There was a fridge, a tea kettle, a cocktail shaker and even some games but no microwave. The double sided double headed shower was nice but the water ran out all over the floor because of the way it was designed. The furniture was nice but some of it was full of scratches and dings. There was obvious water damage in the ceiling that hadn't been repaired The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning stayed nice and cold. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great location with nice views from the upper floors. Overall I was happy with our stay but a little more upkeep could do this hotel some good.

The room was nice and had a unique layout. The only issue was when the shower was turned on, both sinks in the bathroom started bubbling with sewer gas. The smell was terrible. We notified the front desk and they sent up an engineer.

Traveled to Denver for baseball games. Great location, but very expensive for room type. Reserved a suite, but got a room that was simply a bit larger-nothing special deserving of being called a suite. Also, found a number of drops on tile entrance to room that appeared to be blood which we cleaned up.

Nice boutique city hotel, but like many boutique hotels there always some little things that are just off. AC units were loud, and the thermostat control was tucked behind the TV and when i did find it, it was not intuitive. There was no hot water at 11pm, but it was back by morning. The furnishings were a little odd, which i expect but chairs that are too low and a bar/desk area that i really didn’t know how to optimally use. The bathrooms were very nice. Can't say much on service. They were pleasant when i checked it, but that was my only interaction with the staff.

We were very excited to stay at this property and the walkability to surrrounding restaurants was great. Alas, there were a number of problems that would lead me to choose another hotel in downtown Denver. First, there is no protected pull in for valet. You have to hope there is a space in front. We stayed in a suite and had great expectations, but we were let down. The balcony was nice but had inadequate furniture. There are no outlets at the night stands ny the bed so tou have to charge tour phone away from where you are sleeping. There is a complete lack of towel racks or hooks and we had a wet bar but no refrigerator. At the price we paid, I expected way more.

The hotel itself was pretty. But the elevator situation was SO confusing. Also, rooms don’t have a fridge or microwave. So that meant I had no where to store my meds. Lastly, the bathrooms didn’t have a lock.

The hotel has a nice location within the Dairy Block. The room was small and the layout was strange, but did enjoy the shower and bathroom. The biggest issue we had with the room was that air conditioner blowing into the room was very loud making it difficult to sleep well or relax.

Maven is centrally located and there are plenty of food options right in the hotel lobby and surrounding neighborhood. Rooms have windows that are covered with an opaque film and let in TONS of light in the morning. There are not shades or blinds to cover the light. Bring and Eyemask.

Safe area. The front desk asked me if I wanted the room service the second day of my stay. Of course I said, Yes! When I arrived back to the hotel after several meetings housekeeping did not arrive. I went to the front desk and they didn't seem apologetic. I was extremely disappointed after having a long day with clients. I would not recommend to other prospective clients to stay at the hotel. I very rarely leave a negative comment however I thought this would be appropriate.

We stayed at The Maven in August 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Great location. Cool vibe. Very convenient. However, when we came back this time to continue our home search, we were hit with a few big no-nos that really soured our stay. First - you have to request housekeeping, which is completely fine. However, we did and no one came to clean the room. Second - perhaps the worst issue. The Maven uses a key system that ties to an app on your phone. That app acts as your key to access the elevators and your room. Since I made the reservation, neither my son nor my husband's name was on the reservation. However, they were both provided "keys" to their phone numbers/phones as well. My husband and I were at the bar and I decided to head upstairs at 10:30. Phone didn't work. So - I had to get them to give me a key, no sweat. When my husband tried to come upstairs at 11:50, his phone didn't work. The front desk told him that I had changed access and that they couldn't give him a key. No call to the room. No verification that he had a "key" previously. Nothing. So he had to get another room to stay in. When I awoke around 5am and noticed he wasn't there - I went downstairs where they told me what had happened. Unacceptable. Needless to say they refunded the other room, but what crappy service.

Do not stay here if you actually want to sleep. They blare music all night long and the walls to the outside are paper thin. The location is very good, it’s walkable to union station, coors field, and countless bars/restaurants. Despite that I would never stay here again.

The hotel was fine, and it was nice that it was 2 blocks away from Coors Field, which is why we stayed there. However, there was a bar/nightclub directly below our room that was incredibly loud. We could not even think about sleeping until it closed at midnight.

Hotel was great - very cool and unique. Clean and quiet. Staff was nice. Food options close by but they all close early. Nothing for late night. Didn’t like the lack of public overnight parking. You pretty much have to use their valet at $50 /night. Although one night after concert at Red Rocks valet closed so we had to park ourselves. But still pay for valet. The downtown area is pretty deserted at night on a Sun-Mon-Tues. Not bad just not what I was expecting. I’m used to Manhattan. Haha.

Love the Maven. Very good location for my purposes, funky modern design and comfortable, quiet rooms. Food and beverage options in the building but the better restaurants are in the surrounding neighborhood. Especially Yampa Sandwich Co. One complaint is that the bar doesn't ice the cocktails well no good getting a semi chilled cocktail. Otherwise for sure one of my favorite hotels in Denver.
