The hotel is in a quiet area, there is some distance to the city center. This is not a problem as there are good public transport options. There is a good garage for the car. The room was great - a comfortable big bed, comfortable pillows etc. As a dust allergy sufferer, I was really happy that there was wooden floors in the room, The breakfast was good with a large selection - next trip to Cologne I will 100% definitely stay here again.

Just been here last week and my stay has been by far one of the best hotel accommodation I have had. I have stayed in a lot of hotels but this one surprised me. From the cleanliness of the hotel to the room and to the toilet has been extraordinary. I have not seen any molds, limescales or any dirt. The hotel room had ample space, too. I am really impressed. Also the room was well prepared with pillows, duvets and you do not even have to ask for extra. The concierge staff were friendly all the time. Provided bathrobes and slippers which some hotels won't with the same price but they do. Also near the public transport (3 mins walk) really enjoyed my stay here. Also used their Sauna and gym, very clean. The only thing I did not try here was the breakfast because it was not included in my reservation. it was 21euro, I think it is a bit pricey but I do not know what is included as I never went down to have a look. But definitely enjoyed local breakfast in town. The price of this hotel is not too expensive for the value you will get. First time to leave a tip for the housekeeper as I really was happy with everything. I highly recommend this place! And will definitely come back to this hotel if I go back to Köln.

Great hotel near koncert venue “live music halle”. Nice room, comfortable bedding. Nice feature with a refrigerator in the room. Public transportation just outside the hotel. Great facilities for workouts in the gym. Very nice sauna. Great restaurant - but only open for dinner.

This is an excellent hotel in terms of style, decor, bed etc. However, it suffers a bit by not having any bar, eating or snack area open before 18.00 every day. The hotel is located in an area with little access to food or snacks and hence it would be convenient for the hotel to provide something like this. Staff is very very professional which does however come across as a bit arrogant and angry - almost like this is a luxury hotel, which it really isn’t. The hotel is a bit expensive compared to its location in the city, which is quite far out.

Felt very safe staying here as a woman travelling alone. Breakfast felt a little limited, service was great then not great, and the bedding is very thin and tired. But it was super clean, had a great outside eating/drinking area, does great pizzas and was the perfect base for working/exploring in Ehrenfeld.

VIP Access? It seems to be a misunderstanding. The long check-in process required entering a list of personal information on a tablet in the warm reception area. Rooms looked good and felt clean at the first glance, but there were black spots around the Bathtub and the view from the window was to a an unorganized parking space with untrimmed grass.

The rooms were not clean, there was hair on the beds. Pillows smelled. The rooms had an odor. Changed rooms. Received different pillows in worse condition. Matressess were unacceptable to sleep on. Checked out early and did not receive a refund.

The hotel is very nice and in a great location. The only complaint we had was the temperature of the room. There was no way to cool the room down even though there was air-conditioning. This was confirmed by two staff members on both days of our stay. This meant the room was very uncomfortable to sleep in, at 23 degrees overnight, measured by the air conditioning system. Opening the windows did help a bit but then there was a lot of street noise.

Very modern hotel. All you expect of a modern hotel accept as a Brit no kettle or tea making facility… just a coffee machine. Lovely decor, gorgeous bathroom, lovely big bed. We stayed in a premium room which included parking. Just a Short walk to the tram which was very easy to get into the centre of Cologne.

Great stay at the Ameron Köln. Room was super comfortable, upscale and quiet. The Ameron really feels like a luxury hotel and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. I am not too familiar with Cologne, but while the location of the hotel did not appear to be right in the center of everything, it was only a 10 minute walk to a main street where we already had dinner reservations, and maybe a 10 EUR Uber to other areas. A major train line runs literally right by the hotel and was very easy to catch back for our return home from old town. So perhaps there may be better locations to stay, but regardless, I would definitely choose the Ameron for next time. I loved it!

Staffs are friendly. But room is much older than the picture. So surprised they don’t have shampoo and conditioner, you wash everything with just one bottle of hand/body soup. Shower was broken too, can’t turn off the water easily. I also can’t lower the heat even I followed the instructions and I definitely won’t considered this is a 4 stars hotel at all!! Sorry don’t think I’ll return

Betten waren unbequem und unser Dippelbett ist immer auseinandergerutscht. Außerdem hätte man Toilettenartikel und auch Pantoffeln bereitstellen können aber auf nachfrage haben wir diese erhalten. Ansonsten alles Top

L’Ameron di Colonia è un’hotel internazionale rinnovato qualche anno fa, con camere ben tenute è relativamente moderne. Nella camera sono stati lasciati dei piccoli omaggi, molto apprezzati. Maike at the front desk was very gracious, knowledgeable, and helpful. Her advice and the Weihnaktsmarkts was spot-on, including the Strassenbahn lines. Dinner was great, with wonderful service. This is one of the nicest hotels Ive ever stayed at.

VIP Access? It seems to be a misunderstanding. The long check-in process required entering a list of personal information on a tablet in the warm reception area. Rooms looked good and felt clean at the first glance, but there were black spots around the Bathtub and the view from the window was to a an unorganized parking space with untrimmed grass.

Bei der Ankunft wollten wir auf den Hotelparkplatz gefahren. Um sich vor der Einfahrt anzumelden, haben wir die Klingel für die Rezeption gedrückt. Es erschallte nur ein „Ticket ziehen“. I enjoyed my stay at Ameron. The room was extremely comfortable and the service was excellent. I did not experience the meals during my stay, so I’m not able to give a review based on that. But for everything else, it was a definite joy. Even though it was away from the shopping districts, it was very easy to get there using the tram. Thank you Ameron!

Very modern hotel. All you expect of a modern hotel accept as a Brit no kettle or tea making facility… just a coffee machine. Lovely decor, gorgeous bathroom, lovely big bed. We stayed in a premium room which included parking. Just a Short walk to the tram which was very easy to get into the centre of Cologne.

Great stay at the Ameron Köln. Room was super comfortable, upscale and quiet. The Ameron really feels like a luxury hotel and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. I am not too familiar with Cologne, but while the location of the hotel did not appear to be right in the center of everything, it was only a 10 minute walk to a main street where we already had dinner reservations, and maybe a 10 EUR Uber to other areas. A major train line runs literally right by the hotel and was very easy to catch back for our return home from old town. So perhaps there may be better locations to stay, but regardless, I would definitely choose the Ameron for next time. I loved it!

Clean modern hotel, conveniently located beside the U-Bahn line into the city centre. There are many lovely parks in this exclusive residential area which makes it a very pleasant place to stay. The bakery on the corner is literally the cherry on top where you indulge in “Kirschplunder” for breakfast.

Great hotel near koncert venue “live music halle”. Nice room, comfortable bedding. Nice feature with a refrigerator in the room. Public transportation just outside the hotel. Great facilities for workouts in the gym. Very nice sauna. Great restaurant - but only open for dinner.

This is an excellent hotel in terms of style, decor, bed etc. However, it suffers a bit by not having any bar, eating or snack area open before 18.00 every day. The hotel is located in an area with little access to food or snacks and hence it would be convenient for the hotel to provide something like this.
