the staff were great, and breakfast was delicious. also the fitness room was clean and the right equipment for just about everyone. really enjoyed the outside sitting area. we have stayed at comfort suite inns all over the country and this one ranks right at the top. thanks for making us feel right at home, ted and ruth clark.

Very clean spacious newer room about 10 minutes from downtown and most activities and parking was sufficient. The pool was indoor but didn’t look clean so we never swam and with a three year old that loves the water it was disappointing since that’s one reason we chose this property. Thankfully the rest of the hotel was good.

First I’m trying to straighten our double room charges, the our room smelled like smoky musk. The room walls looked beat up and then a quick fix. The a/c was either freezing cold or warm. The breakfast was not real good( beige sausage, strange scrambled eggs, big pot of oatmeal and another of grits. Basic bread assortment. Coffee was ok. Work out room was basic and small. Pool was under construction. The 2 positives are Jamal at the front desk was very nice and Swig and Swine ( great food) was only a couple of miles away. Oh parking was good also.

Comfort Inn Suites was nice and clean. It was convenient to lots of restaurants. The only complaint I have is they did not let me know upon booking the pool heater was broken. I rented this particular hotel for the indoor pool to entertain the kids when we were at the hotel, since the weather was going to be cold and rainy.

The hotel lobby, elevators and hallways were dirty. Trash overflowing the trash cans, dirty elevators, gym and pool area with trash on the floor. The shower tub was clogged making it nasty when taking a shower. I will not stay in that hotel chain next time.

The tile in the bathroom was cracked and broken and dirty and disgusting. It wasn’t clean somebody’s old used shampoo and conditioner was left in the shower. There was hair and filth everywhere. I tried talking to the woman at the front desk and she would not help me or give me any type of credit or compensation.

This was a very nice hotel and very nice spacious room! Even though we had to travel 20-30 minutes to where we wanted to go, it wasn't an issue at all. The walmart was 11 minutes away and so many places to eat at in the area. The breakfast was pretty good too! The only thing i noticed in our room was the little bit of mold in the shower and hair on the toilet when we first got there. I would stay there again.

The staff were nice, the breakfast was great & the pool was a definite plus. The hotel was pretty dirty, though. Our bathroom had mildew and what appeared to be spattered poop on the ceiling. Reported the mildew, but never saw maintenance or housekeeping to address it during our 4 night stay. Probably won’t stay here again.

Do Not Stay Here! Staff was inattentive. Lobby and breakfast areas were dirty. When we tried to check in at the appointed 4pm check in time, we were told rooms were not ready and to come back. When we were finally given a room, we were disgusted by the filth in the room including fecal matter on the bedding. We did not stay. Currently working with Expedia to secure a refund.

I have stayed here before and this is a repeat stay. The room was clean and comfortable. There were no loud neighbors this time. So for clean, quiet, comfortable, top marks! I did take a star away, simply for the fact that there were some noticeable repairs or updates that need to be done, specifically to the bathroom area of the room. I could see the plumbing between the faucet and the wall. Also, it looked like maybe the wall was missing the baseboard of one of the short walls in the bathroom… there was a pretty sizable gap there. Those things don’t matter to me, but I counted them in because they may matter to someone else.

Staff was great. Room was very accommodating for our purposes. However, it had a strong smoke smell when you first walk in. Instead of normal pillows, there were five square small pillows. The sheer curtains were the only thing that kept sunlight out because the drapes weren’t designed to close completely. These small concerns didn’t impact our weekend too much, but could be an issue for sometime spending more time in the room.

Overall good stay, I had a comfortable room with a mini living room. I didn't like the condition of the tub - kind of old and the drain in the sink was slow. Overall, though, I slept well once I got settled in.

It definitely wasn’t quiet! We had to leave the fan on on the AC to drown out traffic noise. The coating inside the tub is peeling off and was on the bathroom floor. The toilet handle fell off and my husband fixed it. We didn’t know that there were room darkening shades till the last night. You need bigger pillows.

I wasn't able to stay there because my ID is local, even though I don't live here anymore. The clerk at the desk rudely let me know 'you can't stay here', they don't book to locals. Never heard of this policy anywhere ever before. Left me scrambling. Luckily a Hilton down the street was glad to have me.

We had 2 rooms at check in, then rented a large suite. The key to the suite started malfunctioning immediately! The staff was apologetic each and every time (about 20) until our last night. Bob, a rude, mean older man was working the front desk, upon asking him to please rekey our cards AGAIN he started, “ Yall are the only people with a key problem very rude in front of another guest. As if we wanted to keep going all the way downstairs for new keys. We checked out and went to Springhill Suites rented the largest rooms and stayed another 4 days!! No key issues, not Mr. Bob!

The staff was courteous, friendly, and professional. Jamal did an excellent job when checking me in. Each day I was greeted with a smile from a different staffer. The warm chocolate chip cookies added a touch of hospitality. The room was nice and clean. I definitely will be staying again.

The day before check-in my son decided to join me on the trip. I called the hotel directly to see if I could change the room from a single king to two double bed room. The lady that answered the phone was unwilling to assist and short stating that 3rd party reservations couldn't be changed. I then went through Hotels.com to see if they could get the room changed. The hotel was again unwilling to change the reservation because it was within the penalty period. I could change the room if I wanted to pay the penalty. I wasn't canceling the reservation, just changing it and willing to pay the difference if there was one. It just doesn't make sense to me to be unwilling to assist the customer. Once we arrived, all aspects of the hotel were fine minus the hair left in the corners of the shower. I have photos but I'll spare you reading this. For $253 for a basic hotel, I expect customer service to do everything possible to assist you and a clean room. I'll look elsewhere when returning to area.

Great location to get around to Charleston, 15 minute's from Folly beach. Minutes from downtown and close to the Mall. Nice hotel and breakfast was decent.

Terrible parking Poor vision for hotel name I had to pull off the road and look up top of the building to see the sign Comfort Inn. I passed the hotel 3 times before the very small entrance off the very busy highway. Then I had to park off hotel property because there was no available parking. In all the hotel is in a bad location

I have stayed here multiple times now. I always like how conveniently close it is to everything. Just a 10 min drive to downtown Charleston and 18 min drive to Folly. The only thing I can conplain about is the parking. If you get to the hotel after 9 pm be prepared to do laps until someone moves or you may have to park across the highway.

Pretty well maintained property. Bed was way too soft for my liking, but room was clean. The street noise started very early in the morning, so I’d ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Good location and price for Charleston area.

The waffles were delicious. I would definitely buy the mix if it were sold in stores. The room is not a suite. It’s a regular room with too much furniture and made it very difficult to pull out the sofa bed. The front desk staff were nice and helpful. The 2 spiders in the room also made for tight quarters. The tub/shower area looked like a renovation project that was never completed.

Room was fine/clean, mattress was great! Breakfast was a FAIL!!!! Eggs container was empty, sausage container was almost empty, grits container was empty, regular coffee container was empty. Had to wait at least 30 mins for restock of eggs and muffins. Wonder if Comfort Suites plans breakfast that way to limit expense? Location should know how many reservations are booked to accommodate customer needs. Not sure I'll book again. However, all staff was friendly...

This was a nice hotel, will stay again. The room was clean, staff was nice, the breakfast was tasty. The entrance could use some TLC, old worn furniture, and the walls are kinda thin I could hear housekeeping talking and cleaning in the morning but other than that it was a good stay. Great location near the hwy

Very clean. Would benefit from a non skid mat in shower. Parking was tight. Breakfast was uninspiring and starting around 8:50a no effort was made to refill or refresh. I would stay stay again
