Great experience staying at this hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Kids loved the pool and water slide. Breakfast options were good and lots of variety. We really appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea that was available at all hours. Convenient parking options let us get from our room to vehicle quite easily.

Staff was very accommodating, the room was very clean, and they had an actual crib for my baby. The pool was out of service at the time, we didn't book it for the pool, but i could see how it would be upsetting if someone did. There was no notice prior to our arrival about the pool.

We drove 2 hours and booked this hotel specifically for the water slide. We get here and are notified it’s out of order. A complete waste of time and money.

The stay was excellent as usual, the room was clean and the breakfast was great. The only downside is that the waterslide is still broken, my daughter was a little disappointed, otherwise everything was great, and they also never have any towels at the pool, it would be a bonus if they provided them.

I would not stay again. The room we were in was awful. Stayed 3 nights and the only thing they changed was the towels, not the bed. Carpet disgusting, ripped, and sweat there was some bugs or spiders. Got 4 bites on bodies.

We did not expect this from Hampton, the bed was rushed was not well done, the fitted sheets were half way thru, there were dust on the bed lights which made my husband allergy worsen, There’s a lot of carpet stain , stayed on 345. The washroom was updated, love the zero% toiletries, sink and mirrored light was perfect!

Nice clean hotel with a spacious room and comfy bed. Convenient and safe parking and close to downtown restaurants. Unfortunately there is no soundproofing and you can hear everything in the halls and neighbouring rooms. The quality of the breakfast could be greatly improved, although it is free....

I would have given it 5 stars all around, if I had been able to sleep. But the walls seemed so thin that every sound was clearly heard. Also, even though the mattresses were very comfortable, the box springs were AWFUL.and squeeked loudly, every time we moved an inch.

It was March break, so it was very busy. Check in was great. The gentleman was very kind. I also Had my niece there for the pool but there was no towels for us to use and we asked the front desk and they were very rude about it. Knowing it’s March break they should have been prepared for lots of towels to be used. Upon check out the staff was incredibly rude, I did not get a name cause I just wanted to get out of there. I asked if I could pay on debit and was refused. I won’t be in a hurry to get back there

My son got hurt at the pool and the front desk staff was useless when it came to helping me with some first aid assistance. In particular Mya at the front desk gave me the most unwelcoming look with no care for what had happened and didn’t even take any initiative to find ice or ensure we were ok. She simply just looked at me straight in the eye with no empathy at all. No incident report was even written or follow up was done. I asked for her name and she gave it with no care in world which gave me sense she didn’t care at all of any repercussions of her lack of customer service. That stare she gave me no customer service person hired in a role like that should have!! Awful!!!

We stay at the Hampton inn, Sydney several times a year with typically 7-10 children in tow. The staff have always been more than accommodating and go out of their way to give us and the kids the best experience possible. We will always return. Thank you for the great time!

Somewhat isolated area of membertou. Only things around are one excellent restaurant (10pct discount) and gas station. Wonderful foyer. Room good size. Beds good. Lots of kids during one day holiday so couldn't try the pool. Breakfast standard and crowded.

Overall this is a nice hotel. However it is very crowded. They increased the number of rooms by about 50%. The breakfast area, pool, # of elevators, and other common areas were left the same size. These spaces were busy before but now they are crazy. It is a well kept hotel, but a little hectic - people grabbing your toast from toaster, now where to sit, everything running in the breakfast. I suspect pool is over max occupancy sometimes.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during our visit. The hotel was very busy the first night due to a tournament and there were a lot of kids. Much like any other larger hotel you need to get down to breakfast earlier as it does get very busy later in the morning and it is hard to find a seat. The coffee was very good, and the continental breakfast was as you would expect when offered for free. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed the restaurant on site. The food was very good and the staff were amazing as they were very busy both nights we were there. We enjoyed not having to leave the hotel for a good dinner.

Our room was very clean and fixed up fresh towels on a daily basis. The staff were very friendly and helpful answered all our questions. Breakfast area was clean well-maintained and there was always a lot of food. I would highly recommend the Hampton Inn to anybody.
