Very understated from the street but after parking and walking through the gate it opens up to a darling courtyard and a welcoming owner. There were lots of extra touches in the room and complimentary snacks in the refrigerator. It also just a short walk along the river and across the bridge to a historic little town and fishing village with great seafood. I will definitely stay here again for a overnight stay near the Rome international airport

Great hosts! Property safe and clean with parking in their lot. Short walk to a choice of restaurants by the port. A park across the street if you want to get a walk in. I would surely stay here again if I had to fly out of Fiumicino Airport.

The guest house is on the edge of an industrial area, and at first glance I wondered what we'd done. But it turned out to be a great place, on the edge of a residential area, with a quiet courtyard and a two-block walk to the restaurant district. We were upgraded to a ground floor room because my husband has problems with steps. The people could not have been nicer and the amenities went beyond the norm (the room included a portable luggage scale and the owner gave us a snack bag when we left.) The only difficulty is getting to the town of Fulmucino is surprisingly expensive even though its less than 3 miles from the airport. Ask the guest house owners about the bus (a cheap but infrequent alternative.)

Armando and Roberta were the best. Truly thinking of every detail from information, directions, recommendations, not to mention the room. Wonderful place to stay close to airport with private parking included and walking distance to great local and economical restaurants. They even sent us off with snacks.

Best stay I’ve had in Italy. The staff was impeccable and thoughtful. Gave me an upgrade on the bed at no charge. There were sodas and snacks and coffee and tea. Roberta and Edmond coached me on what time I should leave for the airport to make my flight the next day. I had to leave at 5:30am and meeting me at the gate was Edmond with a generous bag of gourmet snacks. It was fantastic and far better than anything Delta had to offer. The setup is well thought out with two rooms sharing a nice sitting room. I was given a map of Fuimincino and it really is a beautiful little port on the Tiber river. Next time I’ll go for a few days and I will stay at the Albis Guest Houses.

It was great. The facility was excellent. Super close to the airport and was it only a 3 minute taxi ride to our drop off. They scheduled the taxi for us as without prebooking a taxi one would not be available. The nicest hotel couple we had met. Free drinks in the room frig, and a large gift bag of snacks for us on our departure. Restaurants walking distance. Highly recommend

The hotel hosts were lovely! As soon as we got there they helped us arrange a taxi to take us to the airport early in the morning the next day. They also had a map of the area so we could find a place to have dinner which was very helpful. They upgraded our room without us asking and they had a mini fridge stocked with drinks for us at no cost! They had all the toiletries you needed and more! I loved my stay here, I recommend it to anyone who wants to stay close to the airport!

Just down the street is the historic part of Fumicino, with the Tiber River and multiple places to eat at. A 20 minute bus ride to the airport. If riding by taxi, get the hosts to order you one because the regular ones may overcharge. Would stay here again!!

I have NEVER been in a cleaner hotel nor vacation rental..this place is amazing! If you're flying out or into Rome and need a place near the airport, stay here! The hosts are incredible - we walked in and they had it down like clockwork, called to schedule a cab for our early flight and had snacks for us. So kind and welcoming.. an absolute delight!

The owners were so warm and friendly they made you feel at home. They arranged for a car to the airport at 6 am and gave us a bag full of snacks as we were getting in the car (AT 6 AM). I highly reccomend Albis Guest House!

What a amazing place to stay! From the street or a Google map view you can’t tell how beautiful this property is, but I can assure you it’s wonderful. We arrived early and were warmly accommodated by the hosts. They helped us with our bags and allowed us to check in early. The room was huge, very clean and with every little accommodation provided, lush towels, slippers, phone chargers, drinks, snacks, water, even beer, which made us very happy. This is just a few of the many amenities provided. They took care of our taxi bookings and provided an absolutely delicious Italian breakfast the next morning. We will stay here every time we are in Fiumicino.

The hotel was perfect. The reception staff (whom I think are the owners) were kind and very helpful. The room was immaculate and had all the amenities that we needed, and a few extras like a luggage scale and phone charger. It is located very close to an area with restaurants and shops (although not necessarily within walking distance). I would definitely return.

I had a fantastic stay! The attention from the front desk and the owner couple was excellent—they truly went above and beyond. Every detail exceeded my expectations, and the hotel was exceptionally clean. The location is very convenient and felt safe throughout my stay. The room was just lovely, comfortable, very clean, and with great attention to detail. Armando was a wealth of information and invaluable in helping us with directions, places to eat..We could never have made it to rental car returns without his directions. The goodies upon checkout were also a nice surprise. You wouldn't think such a hotel would be in this area but it was exactly what we hoped for and very close to the airport.

From the moment we arrived, we were spoiled! Armando and Roberta greeted us and treated us like family. They helped arrange us a cab for an early travel day the next day & made sure that I knew the safest way to walk across the bridge into town and explore. They even included amenities such as slippers - and fully stocked the fridge with drinks & snacks - all complimentary! The shower was wonderful - bathroom clean. The bed comfortable (and we are picky when it comes to mattresses); and I just can't express enough how much this was perfect for us. I hope that we get a chance to stay here again - highly recommend it!

Our stay at Albis was beyond our expectations. Pride of ownership is evident at this property. Everything we needed and more. The folks at the reception went out of their way to offer information and even gave us a snack for the plane on our way out early in the morning. We highly recommend!

Great place to stay, close to the airport if you have a layover, which I did. I arrived late, staff was there to help arrange a taxi for early the next morning. The room was very nice. I left at four AM the taxi was there on time and reasonably priced. Staff had arranged a to go bag for me with breakfast and travel snacks. Nice room and terrific staff, highly recommended!

I found the managers/owners to be VERY ATTENTIVE and truly went out of their way to accommodate our stay. I had a very early morning flight and needed a taxi at 4:45AM. Sadly we woke up to violent thunderstorms. Owners woke up, made sure I was awake and saw to it that the taxi arrived and personally put us in the car. Attention to detail and service like tha is above and beyond!!!

Our hosts were amazing. They helped us with our luggage when we arrived. The also provided some snacks and drinks in our room. And then when we left the next morning, they gave us a care package with lots of treats and drinks. Incredible!

Roberta and Armando were excellent hosts! From the moment we arrived until our departure, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Roberta even prepared a to-go bag of snacks for our travel day. The hotel hosts were lovely! As soon as we got there they helped us arrange a taxi to take us to the airport early in the morning the next day. They also had a map of the area so we could find a place to have dinner which was very helpful. They upgraded our room without us asking and they had a mini fridge stocked with drinks for us at no cost! They had all the toiletries you needed and more! I loved my stay here, I recommend it to anyone who wants to stay close to the airport!

The owner of the property went above any expectation: kind, helpful, discrete. The place was furnished very well, anything you would want, with any plug adapter for any foreign traveler. I recommend Albis Room Guest House to anybody, especially because the location is also 5 minutes for the Fiumicino airport.

There were lots of extra touches in the room and complimentary snacks in the refrigerator. It also just a short walk along the river and across the bridge to a historic little town and fishing village with great seafood. The guest house is on the edge of an industrial area, and at first glance I wondered what we'd done. But it turned out to be a great place, on the edge of a residential area, with a quiet courtyard and a two-block walk to the restaurant district. We were upgraded to a ground floor room because my husband has problems with steps. The people could not have been nicer and the amenities went beyond the norm (the room included a portable luggage scale and the owner gave us a snack bag when we left.) The only difficulty is getting to the town of Fulmucino is surprisingly expensive even though its less than 3 miles from the airport. Ask the guest house owners about the bus (a cheap but infrequent alternative.)

Just down the street is the historic part of Fumicino, with the Tiber River and multiple places to eat at. A 20 minute bus ride to the airport. If riding by taxi, get the hosts to order you one because the regular ones may overcharge. Would stay here again!!

We fly home from Rome once or twice a year and it’s always a headache! The taxi ride is too long to Trevi and the hotels are impossible to stay with tons of luggage!! This hotel was fabulous and the location perfect! 10 minutes from the airport!! Upon our arrival, they greeted us stored our luggage because we had four large bags we went to the room. It was perfect spotless, tons of amenities, even a toothbrush and toothpaste, which we had packed - a razor with shaving cream, a shower cap, towels wrapped in plastic with a bow and even slippers. The bed was the most comfortable bed in Rome!!! We walked to the town to eat and the food was delicious. It was a 10 to 15 minute walk and a safe and quaint neighborhood. In the morning, they called us a taxi that was exactly on time with our luggage waiting for us and a large bag with at least 20 different snacks, cookies, crackers, juice, donuts, chips it was literally more than enough for a flight to the US!!! We will stay here again in September. It is our new favorite hotel for Rome departures!! It’s actually in Fiumicino.

They helped arrange us a cab for an early travel day the next day & made sure that I knew the safest way to walk across the bridge into town and explore. When we arrived to check in, the hosts made sure we knew where we were going in the morning and helped to set us up a taxi. They gave us directions on how to get to our next location and just made them next morning really stress-free and smooth for us. There is also a small strip of restaurants by the water that is a short, five minute walk away from the property, it was perfect for grabbing a quick drink and bite to eat after a long day of flying. On our way out the next morning, the host gave us a snack bag, and we were just overall amazed by their generosity and hospitality. They made you feel really welcome in their home. We are excited to come back!

The hotel is way overpriced. I believe we paid $525 for 1 night when this hotel should be closer to $200. The staff was very nice but the hotel itself was very difficult. There was almost no signage to find the hotel and the parking lot is rocks so impossible with a wheelie bag. The rooms are very basic and clean but please be realistic when pricing your rooms.
