Hotel Atlantis Amsterdam

Das Angebot beim Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind gleich in der Nähe. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat unseren Wunsch nach einer 2. Decke zeitnah erfüllt. Die Ablagemöglichkeiten im Zimmer sind begrenzt. Der Balkon sollte nicht betreten werden und der defekte Fahrstuhl war bei der steilen Treppe bis zum 4. Stock eine Herausforderung. Wir haben ein paar schöne Tage in Amsterdam verbracht.

El hotel está bien, el único problema es que el ascensor estaba roto y la habitación estaba en un cuarto piso. El desayuno muy completo.

Leider war bei unserer Ankunft der Fahrstuhl kaputt, sodass wir die 4 Stockwerke in einem sehr schmalen Flur mit Gepäck bewältigen mussten. Das Zimmer selbst war zwar relativ klein, aber trotzdem komfortabel. Nach kurzer Zeit sind uns jedoch einige Mängel aufgefallen, wie z.b. im Badezimmer ein defektes Plastik Ablegebrett über dem Waschbecken, Griff der Dusche locker, Dichtung der Dusche hält nicht mehr dicht, zudem eine lockere Duscharmaturhalterung. Das Personal im Hotel ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch wenn eine deusche Kommunikation nicht möglich war, sowie es eigentlich angeboten wurde - in Englisch ging es ja auch gut ;)

Pros: Location is good - close to many food options (restaurants, cafes), and across from a supermarket. There's a tram stop right outside serviced by helpful lines making it easy to get to attractions. The reception and restaurant staff are fantastic - very friendly and helpful. In the lobby there is water, lemonade, tea and snacks, as well as a fridge stocked with beer, Coke, Fanta and sparkling water - all free. The cons: We had a 2-King room. In order for there to be room for the beds the bathroom is absolutely tiny. You literally can't sit facing forward on the toilet because it's right up agains the sink, so you have to ride sidesaddle, which at the risk of TMI makes the whole operation a struggle, especially wiping, unless you're a contortionist. The water pressure in the shower is barely enough to rinse off soap, let alone conditioner, and it is impossible to get consistent temperature so expect to alternate between scalding and tepid as you keep adjusting the knobs every time it changes. I'm not exaggerating. The room has some strange "decorations". For example a towel radiator that is not meant to work, and a phone that connects to nothing. We confirmed these are just for show. The phone especially is puzzling. If you want to contact the front desk, you literally have to go there physically, or WhatsApp the automated system. Apparently we also overpaid- the person at the desk was surprised our rate was so high, especially since it didn't include breakfast.

Room was not ready on time, had to wait several hours to check in. Power was out following morning. We did enjoy the air conditioning, patio and complementary beverages.

The hotel was perfect for us at this price budget. The area was calm and not turisty, many restaurants to choose from. The streets were not too crowded either but still felt central, we could walk to the centrum in 10-15mins, take the tram or rent a bike! Van Gogh museum is also a ~10 min walk away with many other attractions nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We had breakfast included and it was amazing! The hotel also has a free bar in the lobby where you can sit down and sip some wine or open a beer free of charge and socialize with others. The bar also had sodas, snacks and water if you don’t want any alcohol; The bed was super comfy and plus point for the airconditioning. Although it was a small room it compensated with other ways which made our stay super cozy. Worth to mention is we had a balcony included with the room, very cozy and worth it, but it’s only a small railing between the neighbouring room’s balcony and ours so don’t leave your door open while you’re away (you never know). No netflix or youtube on the tv, only cable, but it did have english channels. The pressure in the shower was low and can’t change it, but these shouldn’t bother anyone if you don’t spend much time in the room. Would 100% recommend and we’ll be back for sure.

So viel Schimmel habe ich noch nicht an einem Ort gesehen und auch noch Urin in der Toilette was augenscheinlich den anschein macht hier wurde nicht gereinigt ich als Allergiker war sehr enttäuscht das so etwas überhaupt noch möglich ist so ein Hotel sollte verboten werden es kam mir mit einer Obdachlosen Unterkunft nahe und der Aufzug ist auch noch stecken geblieben worüber sich über 40min keiner gemeldet hatte und das Notfall Signal im Aufzug funktioniert auch nicht alles in einem Totaler Reinfall das Hotel und für den Preis um himmels willen niemals wieder Niemals dann doch lieber im Auto schlafen mit Vollgelaufenen Fenstern

Our check in took exceptionally long ~40 minutes, then when we got to our room the shower head was disconnected from the hose and the safe was not in working condition. We went to the front desk about the shower but it took them until the next afternoon to fix it. Then on our check out day the power went out for ~30 minutes and we were not made aware this would happen although when we asked the front desk said they were doing planned outages to check the electricity. Overall the staff seemed to try their best but many things were not in working order. It was all clean but fairly cramped.

Great location and friendly staff. It’s an old building and in Amsterdam so of course it’s a small room and the building has its quirks. For the price and location it’s hard to beat tho. Paying the few extra dollars for the patio was a good choice as it became our lounge area. Street side balconies are just large enough for two small chairs. The patios in the rear courtyard are a tad larger so if you want larger request a back room. We had a street room and enjoyed the people watching. Train right outside that will dump you right in the middle of the canal district and a subway station a couple blocks away that will take you to Central Station. There is a cafe for coffee on the corner as well as a few local pubs and eateries on the block. There are no “party” bars so the evening was fairly calm.

One of the two rooms was not clean at all. Wrappers in a corner, prescription drugs on the floor, ashtray full on the balcony. At check in we were asked for a 50EUR 'damage' deposit per room. I would avoid this hotel.

The room was clean, facilities all worked well. Check-in was at 15:00. I thought that was very late.

Spinnenweben an der Lampe! Bad verdreckt! Duschkabine schwarz unter der Türe! Haare vom Vorgänger , Fernbedienung ist der Höhepunkt and Schmutz!!!!! Habe das an der Rezeption 2x bemängelt! Nichts ist passiert absolut nichts!! Das Personal ist freundlich aber das Management interessiert das nicht! Bei jeder Bewertung wird Stellung genommen das ist aber zu wenig, Das Zimmer wurde gar nie wirklich geputzt! Nur wischi waschi! Handtuch Tausch oft nicht mal das Bett gemacht! Usw.!! Sonst wäre das Zimmer ganz ok! Lage des Hotels ist echt perfekt! Mit der Straßenbahn nr 4 kommt man superschnell zu den wichtigen Plätzen!

This property has bed bugs!!!! But the stroopwafels at the front desk are delicious. Oh and there was no hot water for the shower on any day. The balcony off the room was a plus though.

Would not recommend this hotel. We had bed bugs in our room. Just after one night we had a lot of bites all over our body. When we realized after the first night we moved out and changed the hotel. Our money was refunded afterwards. The room was also very loud because it was downstairs and facing the busy street. Especially at night it was very loud because the windows are apparentyl very thin.

For the price it was definitly not worth it. The room smelled of strong amoniak(very strong smell of pee that made it hard to breath), it didnt look like the bed sheets where changed before we came since we saw pubic hair in teh bed. The toilet wasnt flushed and still had someone elses left overs still in it. I tried to explain to the receptionist, but she was absolutey sure the sheets had been changed before we came and that the room was in tip top condition, and it couldnt be right at all. It was very disapointing and kind of laid the foundation to how we felt the stay was. The only thing that was great was the breakfast, so big up to the breakfast staff!

My family and I did not enjoy our stay at this property. Firstly, we checked in online house before, their website said we would only need to be ID and given the room key upon arrival. This was not the case, as we had to wait and go through the normal checkin process. The three rooms we occupied exhibited the smell of smoke, the bathroom in my room very very untidy. The black and white floor was very untidy and smell of urine which was unbearable. I sort help from the front desk person who told me house keeping had already left and that he could not leave the front desk. Other than this challenge, we enjoyed all of the places we visited in Amsterdam.

We loved staying at hotel Atlantis. The beds were great, they had a small refrigerator, and it was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I have nothing to complain about. Thank you for the stay, and we will defentely recomend this to others.

Tired Hotel in need of updating.

The room was the size of a closet

Buena ubicación para hacer turismo. Se tarda alrededor de 20 minutos hasta la zona de los museos. Personal de recepción muy amable y la persona que sirve los desayunos muy atenta ante las intolerancias alimentarias. Desayuno estilo buffet que dispone de pan sin gluten. Se agradece disponer de minibar en la propia habitación, así como cafetera y de tener un espejo de cuerpo entero. Colchón y almohadas muy blandas, lo que hace un poco difícil la comodidad a la hora de dormir. Habitaciones poco insonorizadas ya que se escucha el ruido externo y los pasos de las habitaciones que están situadas un piso más arriba. La ducha no regula bien la temperatura, tan pronto sale agua caliente como agua fría en cuestión de segundos.

Slitet hotell. Toaletten på rummet funkade dåligt. Temperaturen på duschvattnet blev väldigt varmt och ibland kallt. Mycket ljud ifrån gatan utanför. Personalen var inte så gästvänliga. Värdeskåpet gick inte att använda innan personalen öppnade det.

First of all when I got to the hotel earlier for the check in, the staff made me stay outside in the cold. The staff were rude and dismissive, except for the polish women; she absolutely amazing. Then when I was out, the cleaners stole my pair of trainers. Apart from the polish woman ,the staff were rude and dismissive. I felt a sense of racism, I will never come back. The room was good

Our stay at the Hotel Atlantis was poor. If your just looking for a room on the edge if amsterdam and bring some earplugs it's perfect. The room is nice, its moderns, comfortable and with a lick if paint would be great but the stay and experience is a different story. Day 1 and 2 we were woken at 8 or 9am by shouting and threats the call the police because a customer had overstayed and wouldn't pay. Day 3 we were woken by I'm guessing the cleaners who have there office/storage right outside our room do they were in and out moving and banging at about 9 or 10am. 3 of the 4 receptionists we encountered during our stay were not the friendlies. Im not sure if this was a one off or if this is how things are here but i dont think we'll be back.

The check in process was a bit disorganized, but staff was friendly. They would argue with each other in front of us and delay the check in process even more. In the end, the rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. Tram station was 5 minutes walk from the hotel and around 20 min ride to Amsterdam Central station. Everything would close after 11pm so make sure to have what you need before that. Breakfast was great.

Was a really nice stay! Tram just around the corner that goes to Centraal station and lots of different restaurants around the area! Can walk anywhere. Staff were amazing

This was our first trip to Amsterdam. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Gave us lots of advice about trams, markets ect and even a map to help us get around. The breakfast is very good. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel itself is a short walk from a large market and the Reiks museum. Its also near lots of restaurants so I think it's in a good location. The desk staff were brilliant, thank you for helping us!

Hotel ligt in De Pijp, gezellige buurt, tram op 50m, en alle andere opties om de hoek.

Friendly staff, breakfast was lovely. Nice area out of the City. But very close to Tram. But walkable into the City. Close to the Zoo. Nice selection of beverages and freshly made cakes in reception. Loved our stay. Thank you x

Morgenmaden åbner først kl. 7.30, og først der begynder de at tilberede de varme retter. Brøddet på dag 2 var fra dagen før, og ikke særligt spændende, men tørt. Det er håbløst at spise så sent og når så maden ikke er klar heller, når man er på forretningsrejse.

Rummet var rent och helt ok, bra med balkong. Frukostrummet alldeles för varmt, ännu varmare i den delen buffén var. Kom du en timme efter öppning såg påläggen inte fräscha ut, utbudet annars helt ok, de hade det man förväntade sig. Personalen var trevliga och hjälpsamma. Läget nära hållplats till spårvagn linje fyra, mycket bra. Från hotellet till central stationen tog det endast 15 min med spårvagnen.

Buen trato, desayuno bien, habitacion muy nueva, con frigorífico, cafetera .etc.. limpieza muy bien. Bien comunicado con tranvia 3 y 4 y metro cercano. Rodeado de restaurantes comercios etc.. Buen hotel.

Staff were excellent, room was clean & comfortable. The only downside was breakfast not starting until 07:30, which makes for a rushed meal

La struttura é carina e accogliente, ma siamo rimasti delusi dalla camera prenotata: la standard double bed non corrisponde assolutamente a nessuna foto presente su Expedia o su altri siti. Si é rivelata essere molto più stretta e piccola di quanto atteso, soprattutto avendo anche una culla per nostro figlio. Se avessimo visto la camera di sicuro avremmo scelto altre opzioni. La colazione é buona ma per tutto il nostro soggiorno la macchina del caffè era rotta. Un bel disagio per tutti i clienti (considerato anche il prezzo). Le emergenze possono capitare, ma si deve essere pronti ad una soluzione di backup. Nota di merito per il personale, sempre gentile e disponibile a cercare di risolvere ogni inconveniente e mancanza della struttura.

A really nice little hotel. It’s further out from the centre but the area is very nice with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and bakeries, plus you can get the tram to Dam square from the corner. My only criticism is the breakfast as there was no vegan options for milk, yoghurt. And very little fresh, chopped fruit. The breakfast is mostly meat and dairy. But the coffee was nice!
