This is a nice property. I've stayed here a few times and I never have a complaint. I think there should be some kind of disclaimer shared with guest when a wedding is scheduled during their stay. This weekend there was a fairly large wedding which left guests with no where to park. I ended up parking across the street in a grassy lot that hasn't recently been cut. There was no food available at the restaurant as the entire kitchen staff was working/catering the wedding. As a guest, I should be able to park and get food as part of the amenities I payed for. I will definitely inquire about scheduled wedding before booking next time. It was a beautiful wedding though.

Staff was courteous. There was no breakfast or even a pot of coffee in the lobby offered. There was no ice machine in our building (new one). There was also a lack of signage - where to check in, pool area etc. I did like the location, the lobby area and front porch.

The pool has a bar area but it’s not open, would be nice to have that. The pool area in general was lacking attention - not enough towels out, dirty towel bin was full, the pool restroom needs to be renovated and the door does not lock. Also there is a bar area and outdoor patio on the 3rd floor that is not being utilized. Would be a nice addition.

I have wanted to stay at the White House since it opened and finally had an opportunity to do so. The property itself is beautiful and the staff and service are excellent. However, my room had a very peculiar smell. It was somewhat like rancid Pine-Sol, I mentioned it to my aunt who had stayed there before, and she mentioned that her room had the same mildew smell. I don’t know if it is indeed mildew, or if the air freshener that they use is awful but the room smell was not pleasant. The fitness center was very poorly equipped. There was not a full set of weights. The 10 15 and 20 pound weights were missing. There were no mats and no wipes. I travel quite frequently and this was one of the worst hotel gyms I have ever deen. It was sad. The lobby and check-in experience was very inviting. The food was amazing. I had gone to Cora’s kitchen several times for dinner when I lived on the Gulf Coast previously when I’ve come back to visit. The rooms were just underwhelming and the smell was off putting. I seriously doubt that I’ll stay here again. I will come back to visit the restaurant, but I can’t stay in those rooms again.

While the property was beautiful and historic it is in disrepair. Dirty carpets, dusty floor, windows and room with a moldy wet smell that lingered on your clothing after you came home. Visible mold in the shower and a clear layer of dust on all surfaces. Rust on lamps and doors. Will not return!!!

Our room was so dirty! I tried calling front desk…. No answer! So I walked to front desk and told them about the live bugs and how dirty the floors and bathroom were and they said “we don’t have any other rooms available “ they sent housekeeping to clean room but all she did was pick up bugs and said her shift was over!!! I was appalled at the service staff. The manager couldn’t be reached and I was told he was off work until Tuesday and no one was taking his place! The sheets and blankets had brown stains on them and the shower floor was not cleaned at all! I wiped the shower floor with a napkin and it was black dirt! There was trash underneath the bed and dust and spider webs in all corners. The staff did not apologize and treated us as though we were a bother! I will try to get refunded as we couldn’t shower and hardly slept at all! She also said she couldn’t accommodate us in a refund because we already paid for room through hotels.com

Desk clerk was very friendly. We were not so excited when we go to the room and the floor was filthy. Shower was dirty. "Shelf" that held the Tv was at such a slope, everything we put on it slid off. The were also little black catapillars EVERYWHERE. We removed at least 8 from the walls and floors around the bed and windows

The hotel is beautiful, but the rooms are average. Our room was small. I couldn’t get the room dark because the shades aren’t wide enough to block out the street lights. The floors are not carpeted, and could use some area rugs for warmth. The mattress was extremely hard. My wife and I felt like we woke up after sleeping on a floor, stiff and achy. Finally, the TV guide does not work on the TV, and there are no mini refrigerators in the room. So, lovely hotel, disappointing rooms. We gave it a chance.

We liked our stay it was nice and felt comfortable. When we arrived there was a wedding going on and we couldn't get into the parking lot so we waited. Then we waited to get checked in because the wedding took over the entire lobby. Staff was great and apologized, we understood. Our room looked clean but there wasn't a sheet on the bed for some reason, so we had to strip the bed and remake it ourselves at 10pm. There were some dirt and trash under the bed but not a huge deal. Honestly our only complaint is the light that comes through the windows and the tv being stuck on dark mode, haha.

beautiful outside and mostly in. Large room but had some type of knats or bugs flying about, not a great shower, outdated, no fridge and TV guide didn't work nor match guide in their book. Only stayed because rates were lower right now, but not as good as expected. Was a quiet room and comfortable bed (king), train comes by in the morning. No issues with checking in or service.

Was not good at all, night manager tried to get in my room at 11 pm. I will never stay at that place with the customer service they provide. Didn’t know if a stranger was trying to break in or not. Disrupting my night so I didn’t enjoy my stay.

Air conditioner did not work, room was very warm. They brought in a fan but it only stirred the warm air. Internet wouldn’t connect easily and when it did it was super slow, would drop and may or may not reconnect, couldn’t get any work done. No microwave or refrigerator, on site restaurant was closed and only one continental breakfast offered for the inconvenience. The front desk attendant was not very knowledgeable about what the manager could and could not do and hesitated to contact them. She did not offer to move me to another room, did not call a technician the first night OR the second night regarding the air conditioner issue. She did bring an oscillating fan on a stand the SECOND night and blamed the sun shining on the western wall with windows the reason the room was so warm…didn’t make sense at 10:30 pm it was still 75 degrees in the room even with an oscillating fan on a stand circulating air. Had to ASK if there would be compensation for the inconveniences the attendant said she could give X amount discount (small amount) but above that she would have to ask the manager, I had to ASK her to peruse! Definitely NOT the experience that I was expecting for the price that I paid and for the reputation of the White House hotel in Biloxi, MS.

My experience was fairly unique, as I left my backpack in the room and didn't realize it until we arrived home, hundreds of miles away. The staff of the hotel handled the situation with the utmost care and concern. Thank you to all involved in finding my backpack and keeping its contents safe and secure, and for getting it shipped back to me in a timely manner!

We certainly enjoyed our weekend at the White House Hotel. Everyone was helpful and friendly. It is so convenient to everything we enjoy and such ease of getting out of parking lot on the highway. Great location, rooms, people. We will definitely stay again and will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

This is my favorite hotel. I’ve stayed here several times. It is always so comfortable, quiet and just a beautiful property. The bar and restaurant are phenomenal. My only complaint is that at this time they did not room service which they have had in the past. But had had the option to bring my food up or eat at the restaurant and bar. Still a phenomenal stay.
