The park-like setting and quietness, other than perhaps on a Saturday evening due to an outdoor wedding, is attractive. Parking is abundant, the restaurant nice and the gym adequate.

This is my go to location when I visit London. A tranquil and welcoming location away from the busy downtown area. A great gym onsite and weekend breakfast is wonderful. Highly recommend!

I'm so happy to have found this property on Trip Advisor. It's a cinference centre owned by Western that rents rooms when they're not being used by conferees. Staff were wonderful. The building is big so there was a long walk from reception to my room. The room was clean and had a fridge. A bottle of water would have been nice. Shampoo, conditionner, shower gel and lotion were provided along with a hair dryer. The room was stifling hot when i arrived, so i opened the windows. The heat can be turned off but I wasn't comfortable leaving windows unlocked or open as i was at ground level. Bed was comfortable. Fitness room is incredible! Very close to University Hospital. Would definitely stay again but would bring a fan.

I have stayed here three times before, and this visit was disappointing. The room was in need of attention— wallpaper seams were separating, water stains on the walls, there were pieces of pretzel on the floor and we did not have any pretzels. There was a dog barking in a nearby room that was annoying.

Over all a very nice place - seemed musty and the carpets seemed like they needed attention. Room linens were very clean and fluffy and made for an excellent sleep and stay. Breakfast was amazing - the grounds are beautiful-are harder to enjoy - always seem to be setting up or have a weeding.

It was a long walk to the room, down several winding corridors, but the room, though small, was well-appointed. The breakfast was excellent! The grounds were spacious and gorgeous! I would like to return in warmer weather!

Service and check in was fabulous. So I’m reluctant to give the place such a poor rating. Additionally, the property itself outside was gorgeous and well maintained. But the room itself was quite uncomfortable. The air conditioning ran very poorly, the room felt a bit damp and humid (perhaps even a bit musty smelling) and the bed and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. Also bathroom sink drained very slowly and shower water temperature was outrageously hot. We both had to shower very quick as it remained so warm it was uncomfortable, even as it’s almost lowest cold setting. One of the least comfortable hotel stays both myself and my husband have experienced in some time. Sadly, I would not return due to the complete lack of comfort of the room.

The room was quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The room was small as was the bathroom. The building was set in large, beautiful grounds. There were no shopping facilities nearby. Car is essential if you stay here. Internal signage is inadequate.

Staff at check-in was courteous. The room was clean and basic. We asked for a higher floor and were assured we were on the 4th floor. Turns out that the 4th floor in the wing we were in is actually the ground floor. We set the temperature at 19 when we went to bed. We woke up around midnight and the temperature was 25. When I called the front desk they told me there was nothing they can do about it unless they get a few calls then they would call maintenance.

I tried to get a late checkout in the morning, called the front desk and no one answered the phone. Housekeeping knocked, I explained the situation and they agreed. More knocking and a phone call within that 60 minutes.

Great location if you are going to University Hospital. You can walk there in 15 minutes saving the daily parking fee at the hospital. Hotel is located on several acres of land surrounded by trees so very quiet and tranquil.

Ivey Spencer was reasonably priced and everything that we needed. The ambience of the surrounding grounds and the easy parking were excellent. It was convenient as we were at Western for OFSAA West Track and Field.

Room was clean and staff at checkin were very friendly. It is a large facility, with checkin being at the back of the property it made for a long walk to the rooms at the front but otherwise excellent overall and location for our visit to Western University was good.

The breakfast buffet was sad and disappointing. Anaemic sausages, overcooked bacon, eggs that you wouldn’t want to touch, fruit counter only had rock hard melon. The saving grace for breakfast was the omelette station. For $25! Go elsewhere. There’s a great Cora only about 5 minute drive away. The hotel rooms are in disrepair. The sliding closet door fell off its runner and crushed my hand - I had to ask twice for maintenance to fix it. There was also a panel in the bathroom that fell off. On the bright side, the hotel has lovely and had well maintained grounds. There were weddings every day that we stayed and they seemed to be having a good time. So it’s probably a lovely venue for that.

The dinner at the restaurant took a very long time and the food came burnt and over cooked. However the staff comped us this meal and breakfast the following morning which was buffet style was amazing. Room was so comfortable and quiet would definitely stay there again.

Understaffed for both dinner and breakfast. It was not the staffs fault they were doing everything they could but couldn’t keep up. We paid for breakfast and it was not very well run at all. Set our own table finally got coffee after breakfast. The breakfast bar was not replenished and that’s at 8:30. The flat breads for dinner were just terrible. The property is very nice but the hotel and rooms are dated.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre. My room was clean and very comfortable. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. I enjoyed a delicious dinner and buffet breakfast at Asher's restaurant. I'll definitely return.
