Nice property, extremely close to Western University, that’s about the best part. Staff were very nice and welcoming. Very dated property, rooms are dated and not the cleanest. Black ‘stuff’ coming out of the a/c unit, stuck on the ceiling is not the most appealing thing to see as you lay in bed. Price point on Hotels dot com was very high, so I’ll assume it would be even worse through the actual hotel, not worth $350 per night. The restaurant, Asher’s, was okay, nothing spectacular, reasonable prices, breakfast was overpriced.

It's an older building with a lot of character and history but the rooms are fairly modern. The setting is beautiful and I have seen a lot of different wildlife on the grounds including deer, a skunk and a wild turkey. I went to 2 of the YMCA's in London and then realized the Fitness Centre in the hotel was equipped with everything I need. The front desk people are really nice and helpful. Unfortunately I have never been able to take advantage of the free breakfast because I leave too early in the morning.

We always stay here when we have business near the university, and it always does the job.
