A great small hotel. We expected a restaurant, but it was only for breakfast. Nice small pool, but note that there is no service by the pool (no drinks, no coffee, and no snacks). Our room was nice, but it would have been better if we had air-conditioning and a fridge. The staff was very service minded. The view and the balcony were awesome. The city of Porlezza is small but has the things you need on a vacation: Beauty, the lake, a Beach, and some restaurants.

Une chambre familiale correcte et calme au dernier étage avec une vue magnifique, lit pr adulte confortable, pour notre ado moyen. Pas de clim uniquement un ventilateur silencieux au plafon. L hôtel meriterait un coup de jeune ds la deco, pas de restauration uniquement petit dej à 13,50€ ( pas ds notre budget à 3)...parking payant alors qu à 100m gratuit. Pas de frigo et pas même une petite bouteille d eau d accueil ou encore de quoi se faire un petit café...le prix de la nuitée reste trop élevé/à la prestation. La piscine pourrait etre un peu mieux entretenue que uniquement par le robot...un personnel souriant, de bons conseils.

Mooie locatie. Terras en restaurant alleen geopend gedurende het ontbijt. Voor de rest van de dag gesloten. Vreemd geen aperitief uurtje. In mijn eenpersoons kamer geen lampje bij het bed. Kon savonds nog niet iets lezen. Verder keurig.

The missing Air-conditioning was the main deal breaker . The beds were very uncomfortable ;I left with a back pain. The wifi was really bad , unstable. The pool is open from 10:00am to 07:00pm .All good until you realize that during the day you cannot use it too much and by the evening the staff tells you off at 07:00 sharp in a non polite manner. Durring my stay ( june 20-27 ) I had a surprise of a construction site right next to it . Every morning 07:00 sharp the workers uill cut in iron and wood making a awfully loud noise . No minibar in the room . The rooms are looking awful, everything is old and works like it . On the balcony you get just twoplastic seats over-used and mini table. Overall the worst experience I've ever had.By the end of the holiday I got so pissed that really made me hate this place . Vergane glorie. Het personeel is erg aardig maar daar houdt het dan ook wel mee op. Geen lunch, geen bar, geen diner, geen airo. Het hotel is de prijs en de 3 sterren niet waard

This hotel is in a great place overlooking the lake, we had stunning views from morning to night time. Shops, eateries and buses all within a 5 minute walk. We were there mid September but alot of places were closed in the evening so limited on dining options out of the hotel. Parking was very tight due to other inconsiderate guest parking and it was 20 minutes to Lake Como so we had the benefit of a cheaper price than Lake Como towns. No tea/coffee making facilities but eveerything else was great

Et virkelig dejligt hotel med den skønneste beliggenhed. Lækker morgenmad, strand i gåafstand, hyggelig by med gode restaranter, skøn pool. Personalet var meget hjælpsom og venlige. Det eneste som manglede var et køleskab på værelserne og parasoller ved poolen.

Good location if you choose the lake view rooms. Bedding and the rooms were clean but that’s where all the positives stop. There is no air conditioning so the night was hit even with the extremely slow speed ceiling fan, and not even an iron available. Toilet seats were broken and no curtains in the bath when taking shower in either of the two rooms, and no overhead shower so showering was not a good experience. When asked for the iron we were told we’d had to walk10 minutes. Also no fridge in the rooms. We then had to pay for the breakfast which we thought was included since we paid extortionate prices, even for the peak seasons. Will be speaking to Expedia about it. Feel ripped off sadly :(

The view of the lake is great, but the hotel is old-fashioned and intended only for a short stay. We stayed at the hotel for a week and it was too long. The hotel is old-fashioned, but clean. Breakfast was simple and the same every morning, I also missed veggies. The gym was equipped with non-functioning equipment, so it does not serve anyone. We also tried the sauna and it was good. I would recommend to pay little more and find a hotel from Lugano or Lake Como.

Wir haben das Hotel spät am Abend gebucht. Da wir nachts angereist sind, ein Hotelbesitzer muss für solche Fälle immer vorbereitet sein, denn es ist ja nicht umsonst ein Hotel. Angekommen hat uns erst mal niemand aufgemacht, nachdem wir dann den Besitzer erreicht haben, der den Checkout und Check in selbst gestaltete, war er total genervt Das Hotel ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Zudem mussten wir dann einen Late Night Check in Zusatzzahl, der allerdings nirgends in EXPEDIA erwähnt wurde. Die Einrichtung ist sehr alt und alles wirkt dreckig. Das einzig positive ist die Lage und der Ausblick, direkt am See und wunderschön zum verzieren. Für uns war das Hotel nur eine Notsituation, da wir nicht mehr weiterfahren konnten.

Really lovely hotel in a beautiful location, with exceptional views. Daily breakfast was great too. Only down side was the lack of air conditioning, although we did stay during the recent heatwave.

This hotel is in a great place overlooking the lake, we had stunning views from morning to night time. Shops, eateries and buses all within a 5 minute walk. We were there mid September but alot of places were closed in the evening so limited on dining options out of the hotel. Parking was very tight due to other inconsiderate guest parking and it was 20 minutes to Lake Como so we had the benefit of a cheaper price than Lake Como towns. No tea/coffee making facilities but eveerything else was great

Wir haben das Hotel spät am Abend gebucht. Da wir nachts angereist sind, ein Hotelbesitzer muss für solche Fälle immer vorbereitet sein, denn es ist ja nicht umsonst ein Hotel. Angekommen hat uns erst mal niemand aufgemacht, nachdem wir dann den Besitzer erreicht haben, der den Checkout und Check in selbst gestaltete, war er total genervt Das Hotel ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Zudem mussten wir dann einen Late Night Check in Zusatzzahl, der allerdings nirgends in EXPEDIA erwähnt wurde. Die Einrichtung ist sehr alt und alles wirkt dreckig. Das einzig positive ist die Lage und der Ausblick, direkt am See und wunderschön zum verzieren. Für uns war das Hotel nur eine Notsituation, da wir nicht mehr weiterfahren konnten.

It was very difficult to get to this hotel, unless you drive, as the town doesn't offer taxis and we were unable to hire a driver. We ended up taking the city bus which wasn't a great option with our luggage and with the bus timetable. The hotel itself was right on the water and five minutes to the beach. The staff was exceptional friendly and helpful. The wifi wasn't great and the hotel didn't have air conditioning so in mid-July we had some hot nights! Overall tho, we were quite pleased. Just ensure you are aware of the lack of taxis and no air conditioning as those things took us by surprise.

Et virkelig dejligt hotel med den skønneste beliggenhed. Lækker morgenmad, strand i gåafstand, hyggelig by med gode restaranter, skøn pool. Personalet var meget hjælpsom og venlige. Det eneste som manglede var et køleskab på værelserne og parasoller ved poolen.

A great small hotel. We expected a restaurant, but it was only for breakfast. Nice small pool, but note that there is no service by the pool (no drinks, no coffee, and no snacks). Our room was nice, but it would have been better if we had air-conditioning and a fridge. The staff was very service minded. The view and the balcony were awesome. The city of Porlezza is small but has the things you need on a vacation: Beauty, the lake, a Beach, and some restaurants.

The view of the lake is great, but the hotel is old-fashioned and intended only for a short stay. We stayed at the hotel for a week and it was too long. The hotel is old-fashioned, but clean. Breakfast was simple and the same every morning, I also missed veggies. The gym was equipped with non-functioning equipment, so it does not serve anyone. We also tried the sauna and it was good. I would recommend to pay little more and find a hotel from Lugano or Lake Como.

Really lovely hotel in a beautiful location, with exceptional views. Daily breakfast was great too. Only down side was the lack of air conditioning, although we did stay during the recent heatwave.

Breakfast starts at 8:30, and unfortunately there is nothing available for guests leaving earlier. You can’t even get a coffee before 8:30 in the hotel. The lady at reception informed me that the bars outside hotel was open, but it was closed as well. For guests with departures before 10:00 AM, this is really not practical. The night receptionist was very kind and prepared a lunch package for me since I had already paid for breakfast, which I really appreciated. However, getting even a simple coffee before leaving was impossible.
