What impressed us the most was the friendly, welcoming, staff at the reception, bar and restaurant and our spacious room. Free parking was an added bonus as was the 10% discount on breakfast which included porridge, egg and bacon burger and superb coffee.

We were initially a little unsure about the Narrabeen Sands as it has a 'Sports Bar' at one end which I imagine can get a little lively at the weekend. But our room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and dealt with our problem with the safe quickly and effectively The free under cover parking is also definitely a very useful feature of the hotel. There are surprisingly few hotels on this part of the coast but the Narrabeen Sands deserves your support on its own merits.

The only hotel in Narrabeen, and they take advantage of that. Convenient location to the beach, restaurants and buses. We were there for ten days and the room cleaning was hit and miss, with the emphasis on miss. The two restaurants they note are actually one large bar with a VIP lounge (slot machines) in between.

The lift was out ( ok these things happen) Our room was very small, outdated ,1 lamp shade needed replacing, bed was very soft on one side, we did report this. I just feel that things have gone downhill since we stayed there 2 years ago

Three adults stayed for 14 Days and had a great time. Staff and cleaners we absolutely great, nothing was a problem. Parking was great and we were on the 1st floor facing the main highway not that you would know. We will be back

Doors let a lot of noise through from the main corridor - very loud at night from other guests. King Bed was quite short, and could've been more comfortable. Pillows could have been better. Easy in and out parking, friendly and helpful staff.

There was some noise from the bar/ bistro downstairs but it wasn't too bad and it stopped reasonably early. It was a little warm in the room for sleeping and the aircon was too loud for me to leave on but I'm a very sensitive sleeper. If you can sleep with a bit of white noise then it would be fine and down out the rest of the noise. My little girl felt safe in the room and thought it was the nicest hotel she been in.

We came from California after a long flight to see our new grand baby and had an excellent experience at this hotel. We were tired when we checked in, and we had no luggage as our bags were missing when we arrived at Sydney. The very friendly staff gave us early check and helped us in so many ways. Thank you!

Bins in room could be bigger, but seems a problem in most hotels. Folder in room with dinning times and menu would be nice. Had a power point problem but called a ectrician on a Friday night. Excellent customer service. Excellent hotel in general

My husband and his mate stayed there on their way to look at buying a car I asked for 2 single beds, they got in quite late and were tired so didn’t complain when they found it was a king bed, one of them just slept on the the couch, disappointing.

The location of the Narrabeen Sands Hotel was perfect for our needs. Right across the road from the beach and in walking distance to the Limani Seafood restaurant. The room was a generous size with a private balcony and good facilities. We ordered room service on our first night and the food came quickly and was yummy
