Jeanette & Steve are wonderful hosts. Their attention to every detail is exemplary. This is my very best stay ever!! Breakfasts are a magnificent feast! With a superbly cooked breakfast, vast choice of cereals, seeds, nuts, fresh fruit of the season, dinky bottles of milk, apple & orange juice, fresh yoghurt, toast-a-plenty to quality percolated coffee. Rooms are fastidiously clean, very well appointed! Plenty of parking. Oakfield House Bed & Breakfast is the best of the very, very best!! Thank you very much Jeanette and Steve.

Excellent stay all round, couldn't fault it! Jeanette and Steve were superb hosts and their attention to detail was second to none. All facilities you need were present and everything had been well thought out. Breakfast was a treat and set us up for the day with an excellent selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt as well as superbly cooked choice of hot food. We will definitely be back!

Great location for a hike in the local area. The accomodation was perfect, room, shower, parking all great. Was out early so missed breakfast but the host made a BLT sandwich for me to takeaway, amazing service. 10 minute walk into village centre, with pubs and shops. Will definitely return

I've been visiting Betws-y-Coed for a number of years, usually choosing to camp, however I thought I'd try Oakfield House as a place to rest my weary legs after climbing Snowdon. I'm glad that I did! I was warmly welcomed by both Steve and Jeanette to their lovely inviting B&B. The room was perfect for my needs being a great size and clean. The location is a short walk into the village either alongside the road or along the river (highly recommend - thanks Steve) and has plenty of space to safely park your car. The following morning I was served a lovely Welsh Breakfast with filter coffee and this was alongside a continental buffet. I'd definitely recommend staying here and will look to book a family room once I can encourage my 8yr twin girls into 'walking up a hill'. Thank you Steve and Jeanette!

A wonderful stay. We were only in town for 1 night to climb Tryfan the next morning. Jeanette and Steve were wonderful hosts, advising where to eat when we arrived late, and fuelling us up with the best choice of breakfast’s in a very long time. Place was spotless and very comfortable and will be back for the next trip to the valley for more scrambles.

The warmest welcome from Jeanette and Steve who are superb hosts...with just the right blend of helpfulness and letting you get on with your holiday.The whole house is beautifully decorated and furnished - and spotlessly clean. Comfortable room and bed. First-class breakfast. Very good value. I'd recommend Oakfield House to anyone...and intend to return myself!

Excellent stay at this wonderful B and B, would highly recommend and we will definitely be staying there again in the future Oakfield House is ideally situated a few minutes walk to the restaurants in the town. The rooms are extremely well cleaned and all decorated to a high standard. The breakfast is cooked fresh and Jeanette and Steve the hosts are very welcoming.

Steve and Jeanette were the perfect hosts, even loaning me walking sticks to climb Ir Wyddfa (Mt Snowdon). I was there as a solo traveler and appreciated the very safe and welcoming environment. Everything was perfect: spotless, comfortable room, great shower, delicious Welsh breakfast, easy walk to town, available books and maps, teapot and biscuits in the room, and great WIFI. Heartily recommend!!

The whole stay from start to finish was perfect Alot of thought has gone into the decor and the comfort of the clients ,room was very spacious and clean ,Owners were really chatty and friendly,amazing breakfast choice too . Rooms were quiet with hardly any outside noise due to new windows ,lovely views and close to Betw-y-coed. Lovely walk by the river just over the road ,highly recommended.

Where do I start!! 6* plus.. Unbelievably thoughtful, kind,funny owners. From the moment we got out of our car to the (sad) moment we left, we were made to feel like family. The rooms are beautiful, with wonderful little touches that other hotels, B&B''s and gest houses would never think of. 1000% recommend to others.

Great location for a hike in the local area. The accomodation was perfect, room, shower, parking all great. Was out early so missed breakfast but the host made a BLT sandwich for me to takeaway, amazing service. 10 minute walk into village centre, with pubs and shops. Will definitely return

Warm and welcoming. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable with thoughtful attention to detail. Ensuites spacious with efficient showers and a really good supply of bathroom accessories. Excellent breakfast. Within reasonable walking distance of eateries for evening meals. Jeanette and Steve friendly and helpful. Would certainly be first port of call if we visit North Wales again.

I've been visiting Betws-y-Coed for a number of years, usually choosing to camp, however I thought I'd try Oakfield House as a place to rest my weary legs after climbing Snowdon. I'm glad that I did! I was warmly welcomed by both Steve and Jeanette to their lovely inviting B&B. The room was perfect for my needs being a great size and clean. The location is a short walk into the village either alongside the road or along the river (highly recommend - thanks Steve) and has plenty of space to safely park your car. The following morning I was served a lovely Welsh Breakfast with filter coffee and this was alongside a continental buffet. I'd definitely recommend staying here and will look to book a family room once I can encourage my 8yr twin girls into 'walking up a hill'. Thank you Steve and Jeanette!

The hospitality shown by Jeanette and Steve was great. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was plentiful and there was ample parking. The walk into the town was around 10/15 minutes and the bus stop to Pen-Y-Pass car park for the Pyg/Miners track was literally just outside the door - £7 each return. Overall a great B&B and will definitely return in the near future. Lee

We absolutely loved Oakfield House. Jeanette and Steve were very helpful, and we loved chatting with them. The house is charmingly old but the rooms have all the modern amenities. Location is great. Right across the street from several hiking trails, including one that heads into the village. Breakfast was great too!

Had a fantastic weekend stay at oakfield house bnb , this worked as the perfect place to stay for my snowdon climb. Jeanette and Steve are wonderful hosts, the place felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend for a great stay in area.

Jeanette & Steve are wonderful hosts. Their attention to every detail is exemplary. This is my very best stay ever!! Breakfasts are a magnificent feast! With a superbly cooked breakfast, vast choice of cereals, seeds, nuts, fresh fruit of the season, dinky bottles of milk, apple & orange juice, fresh yoghurt, toast-a-plenty to quality percolated coffee. Rooms are fastidiously clean, very well appointed! Plenty of parking. Oakfield House Bed & Breakfast is the best of the very, very best!! Thank you very much Jeanette and Steve.

Excellent stay at this wonderful B and B, would highly recommend and we will definitely be staying there again in the future Oakfield House is ideally situated a few minutes walk to the restaurants in the town. The rooms are extremely well cleaned and all decorated to a high standard. The breakfast is cooked fresh and Jeanette and Steve the hosts are very welcoming.
