Stayed 4 nights

We had problems from the moment we checked in. We settled my mother-in-law in her suite and she was happy, comfortable. We went to our room and it was wet: every surface and the sheets and furniture were wet to the touch. The windows had been open and there was no air moving. The carpet and furniture had large, dark, obvious stains on everything and the whole suite smelled like a diaper pail. We brought all belongings in and I sat deciding what complaining would achieve. I went to the desk and told them our room was wet and stank. They offered another room of "comparable status" right away. She told us to pack up our belongings and have them ready so her colleague could move us. We wait for about 25 minutes then finally just moved ourselves. 45 mins AFTER we were newly settled, they called to see if we were ready to be moved. The new room was equally as stained but the air exchange was better and things weren't wet. We turned the cooling on high to keep the air moving but the next day, the room was wet and smelled like a diaper pail again. The air vent in the bathroom did not work so the bathroom was drenched after a shower and is clearly making the whole room wet and stinky. It was obviously happening in both rooms "of comparable status" and yet the room my mother-in-law was in was comfortable and clean. I understand a lower "status" room wouldn't be as new or stylish, but cleanliness, dryness, and even the appearance of maintenance is not a luxury; its the standard.

Stayed 2 nights

We stayed at this hotel as my in-laws had their 50th wedding anniversary there a few years ago. We wanted to host a celebration of life ceremony for my mother in law who had recently passed and thought we would use that property as a venue for our proposed get together in October. My husband and I stayed for two nights and we were so very disappointed at the service, it seemed to be completely understaffed, our room was very very outdated and the loud noise from the air conditioning kept us awake pretty much all night. Service was really subpar and the facilities really need an upkeep and maintenance. I would not recommend this property at all, especially being in Quebec city it is very distant from the beauty of old city, and I would highly urge you not to book this property. Finally, as we checked out, they messed up our bill and we had all sorts of additional charges, when I called the reception desk there was a trainee who could not answer any of the questions so now I am left to call them back to follow up as to why my credit cards were charged multiple times for the same charge! As a frequent traveller to Quebec city this hotel really is a disgrace to the BEAUTY of Quebec city. Perhaps it is my experience, but I am a avid traveller and I was very disappointed. I hope my review helps you and helps the property make the service the facilities and upkeep much better.

This hotel has stolen my security deposit. Every time I’ve called to ask for an update I’m either placed on hold indefinitely or hung up on.

Pool area was amazing. Rooms were spacious and clean. Didn't appreciate all the added fees like parking and resort fees. A bit overpriced compared to others with similar ameneties
