Omni Parker House is an excellent value. The location is perfect for walkability, from shopping and dining to public transportation. The staff is fantastic. They go above and beyond in every aspect of their service. They also have a couple restaurants attached if you need a convenient meal, room service, or a late night cocktail. We have stayed here twice and will do so again next time we're in Boston.

I booked this hotel last min (day before). It met all of my expectations. The property is meticulous, staff professional and location is perfect… walking distance from many tourist hotspots. The rooms are a little small but you do not spend much time in it if you are exploring Boston. Valet parking is $70 USD per day. However, you can park your car at the same lot yourself for $45 USD per day. The parking garage is a 5 minute walk from the property. On site restaurant/bar very convenient and coffee shop/souvenir attached to the hotel. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

The property was under construction, and the lobby was a construction zone. The rooms were extremely dated and falling apart. In addition, they had one of those sneaky resort fees that in the fine print that Congress is trying to outlaw due to deceptive practices. Bottom line, would not stay here again without being comped sth for my past experience. Subpar is generous.

This hotel is sort of a faded grand dame. The decor is opulent. But the breakfast service was sub-par and the food was just OK. The food service staff didn’t seem to want to be there and it was impossible to find a host to seat us in the bar or restaurant. The bar was loud and messy and uncomfortable, not what we were expecting for the bar in a nice hotel. The front desk and bell staff were really excellent though.

Wow what an amazing stay! From checking in the amazing concierge made sure I was able to check in early. I was greeted by my first name the rest of my trip the hotel bar that was connected the last hurrah I went to every night before dinner. I had an amazing waiter Francesco I sat with the three nights in a row. He was very attentive made sure I was knowledgeable of the menu.I was traveling alone and as woman it was great to feel safe. The room was cozy and I loved the updated features to such an historical building. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything. I will definitely be coming back.

I had a good stay. Got a hard time from reception who wanted to put a hold on my card until the breakfast bill cleared and I paid at the table. Also I won’t stay there again. Parking rate is ridiculous. Almost as much as the room.

Even before we stepped foot into the hotel I knew this hotel was going to be incredible. The doormen were kind, welcoming and helpful and brought our luggage to the reception desk, the receptionist was lovely and allocated us a room that was available 3 hours before official check in time. The interior of the hotel is opulent and grand and transports you back to the 1920’s. The onsite shop is very well stocked with food, drinks, snacks, toiletries apparel and even has a Starbucks. The rooms were very well sized and had comfortable beds with a decent sized bathroom with a shower. The only issue we had was with noisy neighbours, and with us having a connecting room it made the noise level slightly louder then I think it would’ve been otherwise, but they checked out two days into our stay but it didn’t stop us sleeping comfortably. It’s located almost perfectly and everything we had planned was within easy reach either by walking or metro station. We went to a Bruins game and it was a 15 minute walk to TD Garden which was really easy to navigate. We will definitely be staying here again and I’ve already recommended it to two different people who are looking at travelling to Boston.

Very interesting, grand and well-placed hotel to explore and enjoy Boston. At the time of stay and review, the hotel was being refurbished. The construction work began at 6am so this irritated an otherwise very pleasant stay. So, great place but the noise starting that early is highly irritating. And yes, it idid start that early, despite any city regs saying it should start later. Nice staff and interesting, historic hotel though.

Omni Parker hotel is a 170 year old hotel with beautiful lobby and great staff. Our room was very small . The 2 queen beds filled the entire room with no room for a table/ desk/ chairs . Nowhere to sit but on the bed. No room for our bags / small suitcases . The closet had room for 3-4 hangers if you crammed your clothes in there . No coffee maker . The part that we disliked and would keep us from recommending this hotel is the old musty smell in the hall ways and to a lesser extent in the rooms . The smell is very overpowering and hard to ignore . This hotel is located in the downtown area with good dining and shopping nearby .

I wasn't able to check in until after 8 PM and was not notified ahead of time that this would be the case. My room was not well cleaned (stray trash on the floor). Staff was very nice and the hotel was beautiful. Our room was quite large

Fantastic location in the heart of the city. Room was really small with no real amenities. Beverage stations were minimal, but the staff were super friendly. And loved being near all the hot spots in Boston. Very clean and welcoming just would like the room to offer a bit more.

I loved the location and the staff was excellent. The only negatives for me were, 1. The restroom is like the size of an RV bathroom. No space at all. In addition, there is no door for privacy. Only a sliding door with a giant gap that anyone could look through. Also, we were given a king room facing a brick wall on the top floor. Fair warning, this is the party floor. So if you want to hear drunk party goers all night, this is your floor.

The stay was good but the room was just ok. The room was at the very end off the hallway in a corner. Very loud outside noises and the view wzs a brick wall. The Valet service was exceptional. Fast and convenient. The valets were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Servive was very good and I easily got an upgrade on my second day. Everything service related was very good, including Valet, very efficient. Excellent location. My complaint is that while the lobby is pretty and retains its historic charm, the rooms sorely need a makeover! For a hotel of that caliber and price the ceilings shouldn’t be popcorn ceilings and wall ac unit sounded like an airplane. Rooms are very “tired” looking.

We booked our stay at the Omni anticipating both comfort and convenience in a well-known Boston Hotel. Overall, it did not live up to our expectations. The room was tiny and cramped - not unexpected at a Boston Hotel. But in addition, there were other aspects of the room that diminished the overall experience. The bathroom - apparently recently refurbished - was poorly designed. The oversized sink was wedged into a small space endways taking up valuable floor space in tight quarters. Moreover, the setup made it difficult, if not impossible for a smaller stature person to reach the bath/shower faucets. Another design oversight related to the sliding door on the bathroom. Not only did it not completely close to allow for full privacy, but the door into the room banged into the bathroom door if opened to far. Apparently, the in-room safe was still awaiting installation. It was sitting haphazardly on the closet floor with what appeared to be a wall mounting bracket next to it. Moreover, the safe did not operate properly with repeated indecipherable error messages when we tried to use it. Overall, a disappointing experience given the cost and what we expected from a marquis property.

Condition of the rooms is not acceptable for a hotel that charges $700 per night. AC sounded like it was a small propeller plane when on. I literally looked out into a brick wall. It had clearly been remodeled and looked clean but incredibly weird shape, looked like a very large storage space that they didn’t want to loose charging for. I asked to be moved to another room because of that and staff was very wonderful about that, I even got an upgrade to a room with a seating area. However, AC did not function properly in the new room and had popcorn ceilings. The seating area was drab and looked “tired”. I’m only commenting on this because of what is being charged for the property. If it was a motel, well you get what you pay for. The hallways looked tired as well. I know the hotel is historic but rooms and public areas outside of lobby need a fresh remodel. Service however was quite wonderful, from Valet to front desk. I can tell employees are proud of their property, maybe management should be as well. Location is excellent if you want to step out and be in the thick of it. For that reason alone I would recommend a stay there.

Cool historic hotel down town, place was clean and staff was friendly and attentive. The floor I stayed in received a recent remodel. While it looked great, there where a few design issues that where a bit unfortunate. The rooms are small/ tight which is to be expected. But for some reason they choose to put a larger shower and vanity in the bathroom leaving inadequate space for the toilet. I am not a huge guy, but i had one should touching the wall and the other on the vanity when trying to use it. If you have any mobility issues this might be a problem.Completing the process required on the toilet made me feel like a bit of a contortionist. Adding to that they used sliding barn door for the bathroom which was heavy, extemely loud and left a huge gap, not a great choice. If one person has to use the restroom over night, you are guaranteed to wake everyone up in the room. Also lights are motion activated, which means they both turn off on you in the shower and stay on, lighting up the whole room through the huge door gap during said midnight a bathroom visit. Remodel looks fine (rather contemporary/ modern than i prefer for a historic hotel why does everything have to be balck and white?) But the bathroom was very much look over function.

A great grand hotel in the heart of Boston, close to multiple subway stops, walking distance to many attractions. Staff were all friendly and attentive to detail. Everyone makes you feel welcome. Rooms have been recently upgraded, great Wifi throughout hotel. Was so pleased to be able to stay here.

Great hotel. Love the history and location. Everyone is very friendly. We had an issue with our TV they came up pretty quick to fix it and gave us free breakfast for the trouble. Well worth the price. My husband asked for a water bottle every time he walked in the door and they happily obliged.

Booked 2 rooms same standard Went to first room I think as not very well otherwise I would have refused my nephew & wife’s room then taken to mine which was much better. The next day I asked if my nephew could be moved they told us to come back later. My room was adequate. The man checking us in was not at all helpful from uk with a lot of luggage I know the rooms are small but my nephews was awful. When I complained the said my room and their room was the same size. I am not an idiot also the wardrobe in his room is as so tiny. I could stand a case in mine his no way impossible. Hotel historic and quaint but it’s a quick one night stay place. We saw the one night reservations. Hotel well positioned but will never stay here again.

My first night there was a nightmare. We arrived at Omni Parker House (OPH) around 6:30, Thursday, July 17th. The hotel had overbooked rooms and we had no room! I made this reservation at least a month earlier through Expedia. I was supposed to have a deluxe room/King size bed. After several hours, and attempts to appease us with water bottles, they stuck us in what was no bigger than a broom closet with a queen size bed. We were assured we would have a room when we came down the next morning. Morning became mid-afternoon and we finally got in our room. The night manager that first night thought he would buy us dinner for our inconvenience. I told him I was not made whole by this gesture so then he just took the dinner away and knocked $150 off the charge (still havent seen that). They also said we had a destination fee to pay. I showed them my Expedia receipt verifying I paid the destination fee already. The girl behind the counter said destination fees are always paid at the hotel so Expedia made the error. Half of my trip was a bust because of their incompetence. They were condescending and patronizing. The hotel rooms are no better than Holiday Inn Express, if that good. This hotel tends to think their history makes them still great. They would be wrong. Awful experience, all the way around.

It's our fifth visit to OPH. Amazing location, super charming ambience, great food, freshly renovated (summer 2025) rooms. Most importantly, EXTREMELY COMPETENT AND HELPFUL STUFF. The Omni Parker house could not have a better location. It’s also absolutely beautiful inside. It’s located on the Freedom Trail, close to Boston Common and Park Street Station, & within walking distance of so many great sights. The staff was incredibly friendly. We want to give a special shoutout to the concierge, David, who helped us tremendously. We took several of his recommendations and it enriched our trip so much. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Boston!

Best shower ever, wonderfully comfortable bed. The only disappointment was breakfast for me as I need fruit, oats, and yogurt with proper English tea and skim milk but they did their best. My husband enjoyed American breakfast though. Staff amazing.

This hotel is in a fantastic location if you're looking to do the historic part of Boston! It is also within walking distance to many downtown restaurants including the North End. The property has 2 great restaurants with bars. There's also a Starbucks within the hotel. Valet Parking is $70/night but you can come and go as much as you want. Subway is a short 3 min walk to go to Fenway, Harvard, Boston College, etc.

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location for everything Boston. The home of Boston Creme Pie and Parker rolls.The room was luxurious and amenities were plentiful. We enjoyed the free drink at the bar and the concierge service.
