Internet with 24 hour access for two devices meant I lost service and had to call 5 times over 3 days. Waste of time. Many, many hotels grant a log-on ID/PW for entire stay and it is provided at check-in. This is cumbersome and the only real problem that could improve the hotel. Drinking water in SPA/Gym is city water, not bottled water and 3 days of diarreha wasn't pleasant. Only bottled water should be in the GYM. Breakfast was excellent but mainly Indian food, which was very good.

I mainly enjoyed my stay here. In fact I stayed here 12 years ago. The main issues I had were: I wasn't asked for pre auth on checking in. And had to pay for our late night drinks on arrival. I went back to reception and was able to pre auth for a specified amount. We checked out snd i paid for both rooms in cash/card as we were leaving India I wanted to use up our excess money. Thus was fine and we cleared our account the night before leaving. On handing in our cards at 6.00 a.m next day. Our payment was challenged. They kept us waiting about 10 mins thrn said it was ok! The attitude was very bad as if we were trying to cheat them! Finally- the hotel cars were pretty expensive. But the driver who collected us from NDLS was very good and met us st the door of our train. He got a good tip. The drivrr who took us to the airport questioned if we had already psid! However, the staff in the bar and dining room and coffee shop were really lovely and very helpful. The rooms weren't big - I didn't get an upgrade - but comfortable. Empty minibar. Poor/garden area is lovely and relaxing. The door staff were also very helpful.

Beautiful hotel, good breakfast, the brewery was great to go for an evening drink. Helpful staff, arranged taxi for us. Only downside was availability of WiFi, as they weren't able to help us get online when we arrived early after our long flight. Overall would recommend.

Excellent Lobby , Precious paintings, five faced ganesh ji,, good number of lifts, well cleaned rest rooms ( including for handi caps) , baggage storage, beautiful restaurant and bar room... But mainteance at the staying rooms to be improved by provide good floor mats - to suck the water spilling on to floors, bath room must have separator to avoid spilling, hand shower hanger had lose fittings.

I recently stayed at Royal Plaza for 3 nights from October 22-25th. I checked in at midnight and found room was not done properly. I was very disappointed and went off to sleep as I had travelled all day. Next day I spoke to Shubhi manager on duty about my dissatisfaction. She quickly called house keeping manager Sachin and moved me into Maharaja suite. They both were so professional and took care of me in minutes. My bags were shifted into suite. They checked on my stay till I left for flight to USA. I thanked them for making my stay so comfortable. I loved the Roman Garden with so many beautiful statues. I would recommend to anyone who is planning on staying in Delhi CP area.

A stunning hotel in Delhi. An amazing entrance lobby, lovely gardens with outside dining area & pool. A very comfortable room & a great view from our 10th floor room. Friendly & helpful staff. We even got a packed breakfast to go as we were checking out for an early flight.

This was an absolutely shoddy hotel. The lobbynis lovely but do not let this deceive you. The rooms were disgusting and unclean. We were moved to another room but this was exactly the same absolutely disgusting. We complained to the staff and manager and they did nothing. Do not stay here.

1..The wifi was intermittent & the code had to be changed every day . 2..Mould all over the shower. 3..Fridge & bathroom door were filthy. 4..The the 5 days we were there they had no indian rupees for currency conversion. 5 ..very unco-operative with special requests including the airport pickup which they didnt attend.

Single white female traveler. Was in Delhi for dental work (2weeks). Arrived 4am to find drunken screaming females (from the nightclub next door) at the front of the hotel. I had previously alerted the hotel that I’d require an early check in due to my arrival time. They said no problem but upon arrival they changed me full price for a night. The staff inside the hotel were unfriendly and ignored me most of the time. My swipe card constantly needed to be reset 1-2 times a day so I could get into my room. The sheets had holes in them and the towels were stained. Toilet…. Disgusting. I purchased cleaning products so I could clean it properly (urine build up). Fridge didn’t work and they kept trying to charge me for ice (which I needed to keep things cold) AC was terrible and water leaked from the ceiling onto the floor making it dangerous Cleaning staff wouldn’t leave towels etc so they could come back (expecting a tip) They advertise “sound proof rooms”. NOOOO. There’s a night club that pumps loud music most nights. Most staff were unfriendly and rude. When I tried to check out ( I told them when I was) I was told to sit down and wait. Apparently they all were too busy getting their photos taken with some celebrity. I’ll never stay there again

Gorgeous decorations in pictures but actually dirty. Toilet, floor, table… are dirty. House keeping does nothing except making the bed. Shower gel ran out and it took 2 hours for them to prepare shower gel. Reception doesn’t support, they hang up phone when I complain twice about the same issue

Lobby areas were aesthetically pleasing. Rooms were small, very old and not maintained well. Bathroom sink didn’t drain well, shower was difficult to use, room was humid and had a musty odor. Counter service is slow!!! Breakfast was ok but this hotel is not a good value- overpriced for what you get. You’re better off and spending the extra money to go next doir to the Eros or Meridian. They did a nice job showing it with pictures but the room was not good…

Shockingly bad hotel with the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I had a damp mouldy room that was uninhabitable. I asked to change rooms several times but was told it was full. I was only finally moved on my last night after I switched on a light and discovered a huge mould patch in the corner right next to the bed which I took photos of before that they did not treat it seriously. Staff were so rude and unhelpful, the wifi is so slow it’s impossible to use and as a lone female traveler there on business it was a disaster as couldn’t work or keep in touch with my family. Key card would randomly stop working one time I had to go down 3 times each time it still didn’t work and they just rolled their eyes at me like it was my fault. TV didn’t work when I arrived had to ask several times for that to get fixed too. Room service didn’t sell wine by the glass and I was missold a very expensive bottle. I felt very ripped off. The worse thing however was the dirty dingy damp rooms with damp sheets that made my clothes and personal belongings damp too and also the terrible customer service from incredibly rude staff. It’s busy due to the location but I’m guessing they don’t rely on return trade and that’s why they really don’t care. I’ve never had a bad stay in India before and was shocked As a lone female traveler I did not feel safe and I returned home with sickness bug and a chest infection. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

The room was average, the bedsheets were not clean, they had stains on it seems to used earlier. There was no iron in the the staff took more 35 mins bring the same and by that i was ready to leave wearing wrinkled Shirt and trousers. I don't think i would ever book a room there again. Room service was also very slow. There seems to be lack of coordination between the staff.

Goods- Convenient location Security is good Good buffet Bads- Some of their staff members are highly unprofessional. Their behaviour is dependent on the elitism of the customer. There is no concept of queue on the reception desk. Receptionist can entertain other customers without resolving one customer’s issues.

The check in process was below average, one guy in the front was running like a headless chicken. The check out was the longest in my lifetime. It looked like they booked through Expedia for the very first time. The cleaning and restaurant staff were super polite.

The hotel is close to the centre and most attractions, and also close to metro stations. I stayed here two nights. The room was clean and well presented. The staff was very helpful at helping me with my requests. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

This was my second stay in the hotel. My family and I are quite satisfied with the hotel specially given its location and reasonable price. Rooms are a bit small and could do with better cleaning. Both times we got connected rooms that made up for the room size. Lobby and outdoor dining area are charming, staff is friendly, breakfast is quite decent.

If you want access to all of Delhi’s key landmarks and don’t want to pay over the top - this is a good hotel. Sadly this is where I run out of nice things to say. The rooms are dated and dirty (there was mold in the Junior Suite that we had booked), breakfast is okay but seating is terrible and if you are in a large group I’d recommend going down early. The food for room service is overpriced and not enough value for money. I’d give this a miss.

My stay was pleasant. The Hotel is well maintained and clean. Breakfast had limited options, but was filling. South indian was served and the Taste can be improved. Hotel is required to make guests feel more warmth and comfortable and reduce the waiting time at Check-in & Check-out.

I stayed there for 2 nights .First of all they wont allowed any food in the hotel.You have to order from the resturant in the hotel. Thats not fair.Beds are terrible making noises even if u sit in the bed then washroom wallpapers are teared.The only thing good about the hotel is its safe

The excellent location of the property compensates for the relatively smaller room sizes. Buffet breakfast and dinner was excellent with a lot of choices and good quality of food. The hotel lobby and other areas are tastefully decorated with Italian marble, statues and ceiling paintings. The hotel is very popular - it was full. Need to improve washroom cleanliness to make it equivalent to global standards. The hotel's system did not pick up that we had paid for the dinner buffets via our Expedia reservation; however, after discussing and the hotel manager checking, it was OK. Please increase size of your storage room for guest luggage.
