We loved the well kept hotel. The garden is manicured and gorgeous! We ate at the restaurant and the meal was tasty and nice. We also watched live sports at the pub. Staff was very attentive in both and accommodating. I’d highly recommend staying at the hotel if you’re visiting the beautiful Cotswolds.

Perfectly kitted out room comfortable and quiet. Easy parking. Food and breakfast available. Quick and easy check in and check out. The only thing to mention is the radiator was off on my late arrival and it was very cold. Room was pre paid, would have been a nice touch if the room had been warmed before my arrival. It cannot complain the hotel was excellent

Clean airy room, lots of natural light. Well appointed and in good condition, fruit and snacks provided in the room. Staff were friendly and professional, I was looking forward to dinner in the restaurant but due to an electrical issue in the kitchen (usually hotel speak for chef tantrum/illness) they could only provide sandwiches and salads. I was informed about this beforehand so I picked up something on the way, only to find out on arrival that it was open again. Never mind enjoyed the KFC anyway! Breakfast at the hotel was good, the breakfast team were efficient. Plenty of parking, and good location I would stay here again.

Lovely stay at the Wroxton House Hotel. Room was clean, up to date and comfortable. Hotel has a lovely bar and restaurant. Plenty of parking and well located. Dog friendly which is great but we thought £30 extra per night for the dog was excessive, much more expensive than other hotels.

Nice hotel, bit more charm than your traditional chain. All staff notably helpful and friendly. Food was nice in the evening and breakfast (small continental buffet with cook to order hot food) was really good and attractive.

This is a lovely old building with a modern bedroom wing, good value breakfast and delightful staff. Our room had really poor Wi-Fi that kept dropping out and BBC1 HD had no sound on the Samsung TV. Apart from those technical glitches it was absolute great.

The cleanliness was disappointing, the stair and corridor carpets needed a good vacuum. The room television remote control was filthy and the grout around the bath/shower needed cleaning. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It’s a a good location but the breakfast is expensive …. The carpets are not that clean and need replacing . The carpets were not hoovered so disappointing…. The staff were helpful and friendly but it’s needs upgrading. The furniture in the bedrooms are poor quality . The bathroom taps was stiff and the baths very old ..

Bathroom not great. Used toilet roll on holder. Grouting around tiles in bathroom looked a dirty colour. Water stains on the drinking glass. Used dental floss on floor. Did not like the mattress as too soft and there was a definite ‘body shape’ moulded in it.

I paid for a superior room which I was told I had to pay on arrival, this was far from superior. Lighting not working, over hot room, very old mattress, no fridge and as the windows had to be open, there was a contestant hum from their cooling systems. Sad as the building looked lovely from their photos.

We were in room 24, not sure if it wasjust a bad room but the constabt dronibg noise all night like there was a boiler room behind ours. No curtains, just a blind, and it over looked the carpark with light coming through all night. And the temperature was insane, heating full whack every where with no way of cooling room down. We arent particularly fussy sleepers, and I'm sure there are better rooms, but we both didnt sleep for a moment, at 3am we were contemplating getting a taxi an hours drive home. But the staff are good, and the breakfast was great. Just the worst comfort level of a room I've experienced

Very noisy room from traffic. Also with only having a venetian blind the room was very bright from dawn. Restaurant food very basic and average at best and very overpriced.

The rooms are clean, warm and comfortable beds with friendly staff however the property is rather tired with draughty windows and bathrooms that require updating. On this visit there was only tepid water from the shower and on reporting it there was only cold water on offer the next morning. The bath ran warm water for a few minutes which then turned cold. When reported again on checkout was told I was supposed to have moved room the previous night however no one contact me to explain this. No refund was offered other than next time (not sure whenever this might be) they will upgrade my room.

The property and the rooms were very standard , for the price , We was not told that breakfast was included, with our stay , if i hadnt off asked a member of staff we would of not had breakfast , we were told by receptionist we could by a coffee at the bar , which was £8 for 2 cups, i questioned another staff member and she said we were entiled to breakfast . Im glad i did ask , as we would of been no wiser that breakfast and coffee was included in the price . Surely the receptionist should of explained this on arrival . Apart from that the staff were kind, friendly and understanding . Our rooms were ok , but for the price for a night stay in my opinion was extortinate for a very standard room , Breakfast was ok , good range of food choices , but hot food was not hot .

Wow what a place, beautiful English countryside. The staff are amazing, was well welcomed and the room, Absolutely stunning !!! 10 out of 10.. highly recommend and I’m definitely going back .

Room not as advertised . Paid extra £20 for top room - was t available . Employees didn't accept error and continued to try and justify rather than saying sorry. We didn't eat in hotel for dinner / breakfast so only one loser

We had read some of the reviews on this hotel and were a little concerned however we had no need to be. Everything from check-in to check-out was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room (dog friendly) was nice and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the food and service was fantastic. We had a really lovely stay and we would definitely stay here again when in the area. All staff made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. The village of Wroxton is picture postcard and well worth a little walk around if you are staying over.

The room was a good size, clean, and well stocked with tea and coffee. However, I didn’t enjoy the evening meal. I ordered the lamb and it really wasn’t nice — I only ate the mash and left the rest. Service was also very slow; it took an hour for the food to arrive at 7pm, despite the restaurant being almost empty.
