I recently stayed in Room 33 and unfortunately it was a very poor experience from start to finish. The main issue is the location of the room, which is completely unsuitable for guests. It is positioned directly next to the disabled toilets and only about a metre away from the reception office door. This resulted in constant noise throughout the entire stay. Every time the reception office door was opened or closed, it caused our room door to vibrate loudly. This happened repeatedly and made it impossible to relax. In addition, the disabled toilet next door is in frequent use, and we could clearly hear everything — flushing, doors slamming, and general use. The noise levels were excessive and completely unacceptable for a hotel room. After travelling for four hours, we were hoping for an early night, but instead we were kept awake until after midnight due to the constant banging and disturbance. The disruption continued into the early morning. Around 5am, we were woken again by staff changeover, as the room is directly behind reception. We could hear conversations clearly, along with ongoing movement and door noise. This meant our sleep was repeatedly interrupted, making the stay exhausting rather than restful. The room itself also lacks basic comfort. The windows are single-glazed, do not shut properly, and offer little to no sound insulation, which only adds to the overall noise problem. On arrival, we were also disappointed to find that no food was available until 5pm

The overall condition is good, staff helpful, windows rattle badly keeping me awake and bathroom needs some TLC. Have stayed in a lot worse. For one night it did the job. Breakfast was good. 3 out of 5 overall. Mixer tap only deliver luke warm water so no way to have drink in the middle of the night , needs replacement.( room19)
