We had a family suite. It was comfortable, serviced and clean. Apart from the shower waste which was clogged with hair it was clean. Breakfast was ok, food was ok but service wasn't great. Bar was usually dead so if you wanted a drink you had to get reception to get a staff member to come. All in all though a good stay for the price we paid and we would stay again. It was clean, comfortable and affordable.

The staff were all very nice and tried their best to please everyone but unfortunately there weren't enough of them. Saturday evening there were two staff in the kitchen, the receptionist was trying to cover reception and the bar which resulted in delays at both reception and at the bar. The manager was trying to cover front of house in the restaurant and meals were taking over two hours to arrive. More staff are required as the delays were unacceptable.

Had a lovey stay, staff were friendly, room had everything we needed, great location and short walk to restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was great. Only downside was we couldn’t get a drink in the bar as there were no staff but probably for the best.

2 night stay for a local wedding. For us it was a bed to sleep, nothing more. Overall the entire building is tired, public areas and rooms all over due new carpets and a lick of paint. The room was very clean, no dust, cobwebs. The linen was very good and the bathroom was also very clean. Sadly the beautiful weather meant no air flow through the window and the room became very stuffy. Staff were impressive, friendly and smiley which makes a difference. Check in was easy. We opted not to have breakfast. Pleasantly surprised at the bar prices, although many top shelf spirits had only a couple of shots, the sign of a penny pincher management. Top tip use the rear car park, much more space. It's a Best Western not a Marriot you get what you pay for. Would definitely stay again

Visiting area to attend a Ball in Warwick. Disappointed that there was no lift, room was at end of corridor down another flight of steps from 1st floor landing, bathroom very narrow and towel rail too close to basin causing risk of burn. Dinner in evening good with excellent service, staff in general very helpful and friendly. If we stayed again we would ask for a ground floor room.

Decor and ambience very good, courteous and helpful staff, excellent dinner. Room was excellent on first floor, but at the end of a narrow corridor down a further set of stairs, no lift. Bathroom was very narrow with towel rail/radiator dangerously close to sink and toilet.

No pool as advertised on hotels.com. I used the filter for hotels with pools in the area and it said "2 indoor pools" on the description. Nice big rooms. Staff friendly and helpful.

This was a stop off before dropping my son at University so didnt have high expectations but our room wasnt that clean and was boiling hot, it was cold outside so you would have thought that we could open a window and let some cold air in but the air that came in was boiling....It was probably about 30degrees in there and they even provide a big fan so they are aware of the heat problem. We both couldnt sleep at all and then came to use the very complicated shower! Not the best experience. Good parking though.

This hotel was in an excellent location for access to the town. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. One area that could have been better was the cleanliness of the rooms, in a twin room the beds were against the wall and the walls we rather grubby, and a lot of dust covered the fan and headboards. Over all a lovely stay.

The cleanliness of the room was to a high standard with ample towels and pillows. The bathroom was very clean and modern with a large walk-in shower. We paid for breakfast which included a buffet style cooked breakfast, cereals, pastries, fruit, fruit juice, tea and coffee, which was good value for money. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay. We recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Toilet seat was loose, and no soap in the dispensers. The bedroom windows were wooden framed and did not stop traffic noise, there was a carpark light shining up into our window, the curtains and blind did nothing to stop the light shining in. The TV remote did not work and the couple in the room next to ours were really noisy and had the TV on loud and the women kept screaming. The rooms definitely need sound proofing. Unfortunately our room was very small and not suitable for double occupancy, we couldn't both move around the room at the same time as space was so limited. We had a view of a large extractor fan which was noisy throughout the night. Staff were pleasant and bathroom, though small had recently been refurbished. I'm afraid that based on our experience I wouldn't stay in the property again.

Room was really teeny. My husband had to wait downstairs while I got ready as there wasn’t enough space for 2. Also room was by a huge insulated pipe outside. That was the view and it smelt in the morning of breakfast being extracted. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness.

This hotel is clean, efficient and the staff are lovely. But you can't get away from the fact that the bedrooms overheat. Seriously overheat. We stayed a couple of night in June, no heating on, but the room was just sweltering. And overall it is looking a bit shabby in places. It's in a great location, and we really enjoyed our stay overall, but you might need a few drinks in the bar before you turn in!

Nice hotel. Lovely staff. Loved that there was free parking. Breakfast was nice. Room was small but comfortable. My main gripe was that the noise levels from the road outside was extremely loud until the small hours of the night, then again from 6am onwards. Also, it was just as well I wasn’t intending to sleep past 8am because the sound of people moving industrial wheelie bins was quite deafening. Rooms need to come with a supply of earplugs for optional use.

The property was conveniently located and the staff very helpful but we were disappointed by the menu as we were looking forward to steak. Also the gin selection was poor and the scrabbled egg at breakfast was such that we decided not to eat any. Normally a hotel of this standing would offer fruit with breakfast but there were no healthy options in our opinion.
