The Westin Bayshore is an excellent property. You feel like you are treated special at this resort. Bed was very comfortable. Also Bayshore is very pet friendly. Lots of great options for food closw by. The only issue was that for the long weekend, the elevator in our tower only had one functioning and wasnt being fixed until after the weekend. This was a huge inconvenience especially to people on high floors that needed to take their pets out. Fully understand that the elevator out of order was out of control of the hotel.

We had a great stay. They were sold out the days we were over, so we could not get a rollaway bed until our second night, however; staff was extremely friendly. The outdoor pool was a great treat, and sauna was excellent. Having a coffee shop inside the hotel was a bonus as we didn't have to drive anywhere for a delicious treat. Booked a yoga class and it was excellent. We will definitely be coming back!

Great location and courteous staff. The location offers close proximity to shopping and restaurants. The hotel is also very close to Stanley Park. The breakfast ordered was delicious. The parking is located across the street from the hotel which adds a minor inconvenience. Overall, I would stay here again.

Great hotel in a great location. On the water and the seawall allowing you to walk to several great destinations. Near multitudes of multicultural restaurants. Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc.. free bike rentals for a tour of Stanley Park. Really enjoyed our stay at the Westin Bayshore.

The location is awesome by the waterfront and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the outdoor pool was dirty (lots of leaves and debris), dirty GLASS dishes were left within the pool enclosure area in the evening and there was no sign of any staff support in this area. The inside hot tub was also quite dirty (lots of foam and ‘grit’ material in the foam…) and the bathrobes were a one small size fits all approach which was rather disappointing for almost $600 a night…

Room was only available at 5, despite being 30 mins for early check-in. Room cleaning was requested but was they did a shoddy job- left dry cereals on the floor but took out the rubbish. Spider found on the bed… I mean.

We booked a deluxe room with mountain but were given a room facing another part of the hotel. The reception was adamant this is what we had booked. Our reservation with hotels.com clearly stated we had booked a Deluxe Room, 1 King bed, non smoking, Mountain view. I had to contact hotels.com to fix the problem. Rooms were dated. Shower floor had black mould around the edges. Some of the towels were ragged and had holes. The amenities in the room are scarce, a very basic coffee machine, with awful coffee and no kettle. At nearly $1000 a night, you expect a little more. Very disappointed.

The hotel was located in the best area. Loved the cleanliness and friendly staff. We had a basic room but everything was provided for us in the room. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Vancouver.

Front desk excellent service, extremely professional and friendly. Hallways needed a little work, the light by our door was full of insects and flickering. The vent into the room reflected this flickering when the room lights were not on.

We really liked the hotel but were very disappointed as we didn’t find out until it was too late that we were one of 5% of rooms without on demand access. We were also unable to access any of the movie stations on regular cable. We were just staying for one night with a child as we were travelling through and our whole evening was centred around a quiet movie night in because of the weather. I had called the front desk and the tech person came to our room but there wasn’t any resolution. The hotel was beautiful but the customer service was a bit lacking

The only thing that was an issue was the noise of the sea planes. Luckily we didn’t need to sleep in. Actually we took a sea plane tour and the hotel is convenient to walk to that but trade off is noise from planes.

Great amenities but I expected when I booked a room for 3 people that had 2 double beds that they were double occupancy (queen) beds. They were actually just double beds. I couldn’t fit comfortably beside my husband because it was cramped so I had to sleep beside my daughter and even then it was uncomfortable as very little room to stretch out. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel with double sized beds before. Our view was called a courtyard view but it was mostly a view of the roof below. It was pretty disappointing overall.

Good location, but this property is in desperate need of an overhaul in the rooms. The air conditioning is awful, lots of noise and something they could not fix. The maintenance guy even tried stuffing towels inside the unit (which actually worried us) to try and reduce the noise (it did not work).

We’ve had many nice stays at the property in the past but this time the pillows were very hard, rooms are not sound proofed at all. The design of the bathroom doors is ridiculous as they have 1” gaps around them. Very noisy from the hallways as well. Will definitely have to reconsider stays in the future. The location and views are great but the room comfort was disappointing.

Spent 3 nights at the Westin Bayshore. Every part of my stay, exceeded my expectations. Loved the location, the room had everything I needed and the bed was super comfortable. The customer service was top notch. Will definitely be staying there again.

Hotel und Zimmer sehr schön, sehr gute Lage, ruhig und alles mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut erreichbar. netter Concierge, um Ausflüge zu planen, sie haben auch Gutschein für Vergünstigungen der Aktivitäten. Frühstück gut, aber bei Zimmerbuchung mit 3 Personen können nur 2 Frühstück inklusive buchen, der Dritte muss extra zahlen und es wird jedes Mal gutes! Trinkgeld erwartet, ansonsten gibt es Kellnerinnen, die einen nur „notdürftig“ bedienen - leider in den USA und Kanada üblich… Die Abschlussrechnung ist ebenfalls merkwürdig, die stimmt nicht mit dem Kreditkartenabzug (viel höher) überein - bedarf nachträgliche Klärung, obwohl wir bereits während des Aufenthalts nachgehakt haben

The staff was amazing in all categories. They were friendly, professional and very attentive. I was especially impressed by their kindness and willingness to help each other which was apparent at the front desk and especially in the restaurants. Call out excellent service from our server Dallas and her supporting team and the very sweet lady in the gift shop. My only disappointment was the cost of the buffet breakfast. $49!! I would think the hotel would want to encourage guests to use it which would cut down on kitchen orders and food waste. Loved the water fill stations. Would like to see more hotels (especially resorts) use this option to replace plastic water bottles! This hotel location was a 12 minute walk to Stanley park to left and a beautiful morning walk around the bay to the right! Great location. Many other restaurants all in walking distance from this location. We were on the second floor and I was concerned with traffic noise but there wasn’t any. Only seagulls!

The bartender refused to play the NBA playoff game on a single TV with 6 TVs playing 2 hockey games. The manager then came over and lied to us stating a family needed the hockey game on and that I was not allowed to speak to that family. When i spoke to the man at the table he said no he was not watching the game go ahead and watch the NBA game. A real shame as the bartender was willing to put on the game for 4 of my friends to enjoy dinner together and spend another $500 at the bar. When I arrived to the hotel, they had a double bed for a room I booked for 3 adults and then said "sometimes 3rd parties do that" Well Hotels.com is the third party and I use your services almost exclusively. I was at this hotel because my friend is an Ambassador with Marriott, he spends 30K a year with them and he was treated very rudely as I was I. Highly disappointed for the cost of money not sure if I will ever return

I could not speak more highly of my experience at the Bayshore. I was there for The Eras Tour and the entire once in a lifetime experience was amplified by everything the Bayshore had as an exclusive partner. While there, I had a minor medical emergency and was treated like family by the staff as they attended to my needs. From the front desk to the entire hospitality staff, I would highly recommend the Bayshore for your next Vancouver stay!

I couldn’t check in because I don’t have a credit card, I reserved with a Visa debit card, I offered a cash deposit, Apple Pay, PayPal, cheque, e-transfer, debit card but not their policy. I shouldn’t have to be forced into a contract with a credit card company in order to book a hotel for a night.

Property was great, beautiful area, food was good in the restaurant. However, the seagulls outside of our room were squeaking and squealing for hours, especially in the early morning. My friends were lucky enough to be able to get a room on the other side of the hotel. Thankfully, I brought earplugs! It was very annoying.

We stayed for Thanksgiving weekend and had a lovely stay, but the Thanksgiving dinner while great value for money and really delicious was served in the restaurant bar area where they had extremely loud obnoxious music playing that they said they couldn’t turn down and it really spoiled it. It was very unsuitable for dining Like Honky Tonk guitar and ZZ Top and very loud whining Guitar riffs sounds not pleasurable at all while trying to chat over dinner ( parents are in 90’s) Then the breakfast on the Monday, being a holiday, we assumed would be a brunch style breakfast, but it was just the normal breakfast time and they close the kitchen at 10:30 and we didn’t get in till 10 so we felt rushed and uncomfortable, and that was due to the staff at the desk, waitress was delightful however and again the food was quite lovely. We had considered doing a Christmas stay, but we’re kind of thinking about it now because we’ve done Christmas before when they had the pods for Christmas dinner and that was lovely, but I don’t think I could sit through Christmas dinner in that environment in the restaurant unfortunately. Otherwise the hotel itself was very nice and very easy and pleasant

Check-in was quick and the young lady who assisted me was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING!! So many choices and replenished frequently. The room was comfortable with a view of the pool and the harbor. Very walkable area with shops and restaurants. Kudos to a young man named Chris who took are of our bags, took pictures of our group and made recommendations.

Breakfast buffet was very expensive and some staff quite rude. We stayed for three days and had purchased the buffet breakfasts but were still charged for breakfast on our last day. Most expensive coffee I’ve ever had.
