MainStay Suites Georgetown Lexington North

The staff was great! We had a flat tire. The people at the front desk allowed us to stay in the lounge while it was being serviced. The reason we chose the hotel was an indoor pool. The pool was not open during our stay. If I knew this while booking, we would have chose another hotel. Also, one of the bed linens were stained from fresh coffee.

One staff member was outstanding. The others weren't. The room had a sticky spot on the floor from previous guests. Breakfast was good and the pool. Although claimee to be heated was cold

Our room was excellent and clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Our room had everything we needed; full size fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, dishwasher, sink, and even a hot plate. Our WiFi was not working properly but the TV did have live channels. The kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast was good too, with several options. We could hear kids running in the room above us but it wasn’t bad. Would definitely stay again.

Check in was fine. The room was okay. Bathroom light switch was broken and the heat/ AC fan would not turn off, even when turned off on the wall thermostat. It was also extremely loud. The room next to us played loud music until 1am. This could be heard in the hallway and even on the elevator. The pool was not clean and there were not any towels. Also the elevator certification had expired in 2023. Breakfast was also pretty disappointing.

Large bags of trash sat in the hallway in our floor for two days. No cups for coffee with morning breakfast The staff had to be told they were out of eggs and waffle mix Pool water looked cloudy. I would not let my family get in the pool.

Enjoyed the pool. Good selection at breakfast. Friendly check-in. Great place for kids

The hotel was clean and suited us for our one night stay. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool after a long day of traveling and sight-seeing.

Breakfast was so-so, workout room had free weights, but cardio was limited and elliptical was broken. Manager was very helpful with a booking issue. All in all, we can recommend this MainStay and would stay here again.

Was given the wrong type of room and told it was the fault of hotels.com. Fitness equipment broken, pool out of service, and they ran out of sausages 20 minutes before the end of breakfast and refused to make more. Breakfast ended at 9am, way too early for vacationers.

The pool was cloudy and I did not feel safe putting my kids in it. Breakfast was cold and did not last the full time it was to be open. We came down at 8am and most of the food was gone with no refills.

I don't even know where to start!! We arrived around 9:30p after traveling for 15 hours. Our room wasn't ready. They found us a different room. The bathroom had poop splattered all over in the toilet, hair in the bathtub, water in the bathtub which wouldn't drain, no sheets for the pull out couch. We were told breakfast would be available until 11a but everything was cleaned up and put away by 10. The coffee machine was out of order the whole time we were there, the ice machine was broke and we had to keep going to the front desk to get our own towels. I have been a choice privilege member for 10 years and have NEVER had such a terrible experience!!! I would NEVER stay here again and would never recommend anyone else stay here! Save your money! This was a horrible experience!!!

Spent 2 days with my family. The room was big. The bathroom wasn't clean, the dishes also was dirty. I'm not sure I'll go back, but other than that the staff was nice and professional.

The hotel seemed new, but they must have a lot of construction workers staying there for extended stays. The floors are all dirty. Our room was dirty on arrival. We needed them to come in and vacuum the floors and clean the microwave. That was after I wiped everything down with my Lysol wipes. Even had to wipe the wall. The shower curtain had brown staines on it.

I booked a handicap accessible room but did not get one. Luckily they had a bath chair we could use. When we checked in we did not have any towels in our room. We had a kitchen but all of the dishes were put away dirty. We had no housekeeping services during our 4 day stay. We had to ask to get new towels and have our garbage's emptied. The bathrooms were pretty dirty (grout and around the tub). Everything else was good.

The room was not clean, there were dirty towels from the previous guest. There was no body soap or shampoo in the bathroom I had to go to the reception to ask for some. Breakfast was scarce and many people go without breakfast, the juice machines were dirty and empty. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here

There was mud everywhere in the room and bathroom was very dirty there was mold in the shower

This is a spacious, modern and well appointed hotel. We only stayed for one night prior to experiencing the Ark Encounter. Lady at the front desk was great. The only downside, was pubic hairs in the bathroom basin, which was very off-putting. Overall, very happy. From the guests in room 206 (5-28-24).

There was blood on the comforter. I didn't see it until I pulled it up around my face. The bathroom door didn't close. It was a pocket door with handles broken off. Must of weighed 75lbs to close Dirty towels left in bathroom.

There were 3 blood stains in the hotel itself.. the TV wouldnt work for all 3 daya we were there..the front desk called mamagement and maintenence several times and promised to get with me BUT never did. The cleaning/check in staff were wonderful. Management needs a lot of work.

The walls are super thin. Person next door flushes toilet you can hear it as well as everything else

This is the worst hotel me and my family have ever stayed in. We booked our room two weeks ahead of time and paid for everything through expedia. We got there late one evening after driving all day, and checked in to a room that wasnt clean. We told the lady at the front desk the room wasnt cleaned, and we had to wait over an hour for them to clean it. We went back to our room and it STILL wasnt clean. The Tv was broken when we got there, and we had to wait for the maintenence guy the next day to come install a new one. More of our time lost. The room wasnt stocked with the necessary linens and toiletries. The shower head didnt work in the one bathroom. The staff was a really sketchy group of people. Didnt feel safe staying there with our kids. And to top it all off ive got my bank dealing with fraudulent charges from them on my credit card for $500 . Do yourselves a favor, dont go to the mainstay suites in georgetown, ky. Or any.

Room was nice and clean. However, the blinds were broken so couldnt properly get sunlight during the day and the washroom did not have a fan, or it must have been broken.

Liked full size fridge & dishwasher. Job ended two days early. Wife called front desk and they said no problem. Went to front desk, it was unattended. Waited 10 miles, left key cards in basket. Began drive home. Wife called front desk at 2:12pm to confirm 2 day refund would be issued. Wife was told clerk had to get ok from GM & will call back. Two hours later wife called was told she should’ve called by 2 so there will be no refund. Have been trying to reach GM since 7/17. Always an excuse. Now have Corporate involved. Doubt I’ll get refund for two nights. Will never stay at this brand again. Should’ve stayed at the Marriott, which is our preferred brand.

The service staff were very accommodating to us getting there two hours early and got us a room cleaned and ready right away!

My stay here was easy and very satisfying! Check in was a breeze and all the information was given to us right away. We had a great room and the lobby was very clean and organized. Room cleaning didn’t come as I thought they would so that kind of sucked but they had someone at the front desk so we just went there. There was a time we went to get snacks from the little store area and no one was for for a few minutes so that sucked too but we made due still enjoyed our stay. Staff is friendly, wonderful, informative, and secure. The place is beautiful and cozy. It almost felt like we had our own apartment for real. My stay was amazing and we all enjoyed it (baby included) so i definitely will be booking here again if I can and recommending to everyone to stay here!

When we arrived on Saturday night with my tired 1 & 2 year old, we were surprised by 9 people waiting to be checked in and no one at the desk. She later said she was the only one there cleaning too or something. One man came back down & said there was someone in the room she gave him! I would've left if i didn't already reserve it & we had our kids & all our belongings already. Plus we were only there one night. We reserved a king size bed on the Mainstays side & got 2 queen & wheelchair accessible. We brought one playpen & i called before we came to make sure they had another. They did but it was either broke or very different then all the playpens I've used. It worked well enough though. We just hardly got it up & couldn't get it down. The room seemed pretty clean thankfully, but the walls in the bathroom need cleaned & the toilet paper thing was falling off of the wall. Breakfast was hot & the waffles good. The eggs & bacon tasted fake & the oj was awful. No creamer for coffee. I couldn't find any water. Who doesn't have water? Disappointed. The pool was warm but very small & harder to walk into.The staff was unprofessional except for the lady doing the breakfast. When we were waiting to check out Sunday morning, again no one was at the front desk. There is no bell or anything. The breakfast lady helped us get someone & helped us. Never staying here again. Extremely disappointed as i stayed here because of the reviews & a wonderful experience at a Sleep Inn(in WV).

The hotel itself is a great location right off the highway and in excellent condition. We have stayed here twice in the last month and the facility is fine. My concerns are not about the hotel itself but about the staff. The first time we stayed here we walked past the desk clerk who was smoking a cigarette outside the front door and we wait about five minutes for her to finish her cigarette. This trip the desk clerk was curt, did not smile even once and was doing a phone call through her ear bud while checking us in. When we got to our room we find all the dishes still in the dishwasher and slimy. What this all comes down to is either lack of supervision or poor supervision

Front desk was friendly but not a lot of staff availability to ask questions or to refill food and coffee at breakfast. The room had a bad odour, the wifi wasn't working and the shower wasn't working. The floors and carpets looked dirty in the room and in hotel halls and lobby. The toilet made the loudest flush that made every one of our family jump every time😆 Let's just say this wasn't our best hotel experience.

Check-in was a disaster. Waited 45 minutes to be told that the room I had booked & paid for in full MONTHS AGO had been given away... then it turned out that our room was available after all, there was just a miscommunication between housekeeping & the front desk. The room was smaller than I thought it would be. There is no separation between the bed and sofa. Other than having a kitchenette, it doesn't feel like a suite at all. The bathroom is small and has no exhaust fan. There was no ice maker on our floor. The pool was closed for maintenance the whole time we were there. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Had to ask for extra bath towels because they only gave us 2, even though I booked a room for 4. They charge $3 to use the washer and/or dryer, which is double what they charge at the previous Sleep Inn we stayed at. They also had no detergent available for purchase, so I was not able to do my laundry there like I had planned. Overall, terrible experience. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

It’s was a nice hotel to stay in. Everything was like new and updated. We only stopped here to rest on a roadtrip. Definitely a good hotel to stay in.

Staff were all very amazing and helpful. Rooms are very nice size and clean. Kitchen had plates and all the essentials to cook. Bathroom was very clean even the public one by the pool. Breakfast was DELICIOUS 😋! kids ate so that's a win in our book. Thank you for having such a wonderful, welcoming place to stay. Family friendly!!

Facility and rooms wee very nice. Free breakfast left a little t be desired. Food was wiped out by 8:30.

At arrival the check-in was a mess and I could not get my stay points. I stayed 3 nights, my daughter had a separate room..very similar. No iron, no points, minimal dishes. My rant: Go into the room, there were paw prints on the pull out sofa sheets, eww. The dishwasher was full of prev tenants dishes..because machine didn\'t work. Hotel sent a maint guy who worked on it, made it hum. Before bro made it to the elevator, machine clunked and didn\'t work. Re-told them, but it\'s weekend.. nothing done. I paid for the "suite", so I could cook and not eat out.. too bad for that plan. No dishes available, there was a single spoon in the drawer (I\'m not washin someone else dirty dishes, again ewww) Breakfast? (Continental? Where?) What a joke. Empty @1.5hrs to go/be open. Asked for refill, got attitude (from server, not desk staff). No tea bags, no creamer, yogurt, eggs and meat all empty. Waffle maker... only one for how many guests? Bro made 4 for his kids/2 self...others waiting too long wait!!! Milk spilled across counter, cereal about empty..c\'mon DO BETTER! Up on floor, garbage cans overflowed 3ft beyond the pretty large can, stinky, unkempt. Final straw? The ONE elevator for the whole property, yeah the inspection/certificate posted inside is E.X.P.I.R.E.D. Have stayed many places. Seems like I have no recourse, if on-site staff won\'t/can\'t do whats needed!! Not worth my hard-earned dollars. Won\'t be back. Will tell others to caution.
