Wir wurden gleich bei unserer Ankunft im Hotel sehr herzlich empfangen und diese Herzlichkeit der Hotelbesitzer Yorgos und Mina blieb bis zum Ende des Urlaubs. Neben den täglichen netten Plaudereien, waren sie stets zu Diensten. Wir erhielten einen Sonnenschirm, den wir uns ausborgen konnten. Sie vermittelten zwischen uns und dem befreundeten Autoverleih, obwohl wir später erfuhren, dass sie selbst auch Autos vermieteten. Ursprünglich hatten wir nicht vor ein Auto zu mieten, allerdings ist der kleine Fischerort Finiki ideal für kurze Strandbesuche oder das wundervolle Abendessen (frischer Fisch für sehr wenig Taler), für alles weitere muss man jedoch den Ort verlassen. Es gibt ca 20min fußläufig noch einen anderen Ort namens Arkasa. Dort kann man auch einkaufen gehen, beispielsweise fürs Frühstück. Frühstück gab es im Hotel keines, dafür bekamen wir zwischendurch von den Gastgebern Feigen und Kekse geschenkt. Wer die Insel und ihre schönen Strände sehen möchte, sollte dort jedenfalls ein Auto nehmen. Das Arhontiko ist ein charmantes Hotel mit viel griechischem Charakter. Unsere Betten waren für die Insel Karpathos typische Betten, welche es nur dort gibt.

Mooi uitzicht op haven van Finiki en de zee. De kamers zijn schoon en worden met grote regelmaat schoon gemaakt waarbij ook het beddegoed verschoont wordt. Het hotel wordt gerund door een echtpaar. Supervriendelijke mensen die je overal bij willen helpen.

Grande chambre au calme, litetie confortable, cuisinette pratique, belle vue sur la belle petite plage de sable de Finiki, propritaires tres sympathiques et donnant de bonnes informations sur la region.

Struttura concepita per armonizzarsi in un contesto tradizionale greco. Arredamento in legno e tessuti locali di buon gusto. Appartamento piccolo ma funzionale co vista mare suggestiva. Si scende al mare a piedi.ci sono alcune taverne. Abbiamo mangiato ottimo pesce da Iannis. Supermercato ben fornito a 1,5 km . La nostra Host, Sofia è persona deliziosa. Ha saputo accoglierci con la spontaneita' della sua gentilezza . È stata attenta a capire le nostre esigenze con disponibilità e professionalità. Consiglierò questa struttura alle persone a me care.
