No air conditioning - it was very hot weather Only food available was McDonalds. Lots of lorries moving about as was a service area. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Quiet hotel off of bypass and reasonably priced. The hotel is in need of update. Only complaint would be that pelmet above sink in bathroom was mouldy. The only hot food available is McDonalds in the adjacent service station. Good enough for a one night stay as nothing else local

Hotel was fine - reasonable price and clean/comfortable. However, the description "with restaurant" was a bit misleading as the only facility was McDonalds and when I arrived they were changing menus and cleaning down equipment so half the menu was unavailable......

Extremely tired rooms with damaged furniture. Dust and litter under beds and dirty, uncleaned windows. Rooms not made up unless you put a card on the door. But you're not told about the card and it's hidden in the wardrobe behind the do not disturb card.

Good stuff first. The lady on reception was amazing and so helpful and polite. Nothing was too much for her. Had tea and coffee making facilities. Bad stuff. Windows filthy dirty you couldn't see out. Holes in curtains. Bugs in bed. Bathroom filthy. Bed left us aching all over next day. Serious investment needed in hotel. No one to raise with in the morning as no one on reception. Appreciate these are supposed to be cheap no frills but this was worse than expected and not acceptable

Musty and damp smelling corridor and rooms. For females please note all on ground floor so may not feel safe. Okay for price and one night wouldn’t feel okay staying longer due to the air quality.

Check in and out was easy enough. However, the sheets were dirty, as was the bathroom and the door to the bathroom wouldn't close. It would jam on the floor about 4 inches away from the frame.

Better than other days Inn we've stayed in. Clean, no damp mouldy smell, warm. Comfortable clean beds. Bathroom showed signs of tiredness, door wouldn't shut, bit of mould round bath seal. Only real complaint is water tasted funny

It’s good enough for a work night out but the room I stayed in was dated and hard worked. Had a filled hole in the wall next to the bed which hasn’t even been painted. The mind boggles as to how it happened. :D Overall Okay!

Great hotel except the shower was too low and I had to bend to get my head under the shower, and I\'m 5\'10" !! And the toilet didn\'t flush properly (3 flushed) other than that it was pretty good

The lady on reception was really friendly and helpful, despite the fact it was a busy Saturday night, she was warm and cheerful, an absolute delight. The room was spacious and well appointed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

We arrived around 10.15pm as we were at a concert in Winchester that finished late. We were greeted with a warm welcome from the concierge who was very friendly and accomodating. The room was very clean and warm and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the room quiet. In the morning there was plenty of tea, coffee and milk and the shower was hot and powerful. All in all it was a good stay.

Situated on the A34 near Winchester, 15 mins away from City centre by car. Days Inn South, is a great place to stay, Its within a service station with a McDonald's & a Costa Coffee on the service site.The receptionist was very polite, kind and very welcoming.My room was on the ground floor, It was clean, comfortable and had tea/coffee facilities plus a lovely comfortable double bed plus a sofa bed. The en suite bath/shower was great with plenty of hot water. It was ever so quiet as well. Car park is free, and ask receptionist like I did If you come back to Days Inn from Winchester you will be on the North Side, She or He will explain how to get to the South side of Days Inn. A good cheaper alternative Hotel if you don't mind being away from the main centre of towns/cities.

The property was clean and the staff helpful and had everything you would expect from this type of accomodation. we had a problem finding the venue as it was not clear to me that there was a north and south location and we went to the wrong one initially! I think this should be mentioned more clearly in the website and booking pages. there are service roads that connect the two locations but until you know this its quite confusing.

Good value for the price we paid. Furniture is outdated and some visible stains on furniture, however room was clean and we had all the basics we needed, including clean towels and sheets. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would be nice if they could offer breakfast, but convenient Costa across the road.

Nothing special but clean and cheap. Shower was hot and a good pressure - it would be fine if you are under 5ft but for the rest of us, you do need to bend yourself in half to wash your hair. For those of us with electric vehicles, the services car park had one "high speed" charger which I think advertised 50kW but I didn\'t get anything more than 30kW out of it, and two 10kW charges. The prices were quite high though at around 65p per kWh even for the slow chargers (I paid 45p at a Tesla 150kW Supercharger the same day). The 10kW chargers also didn\'t say what the prices were so it was a pay and pray situation. There is a Costa and McD at the service station for a quick bite before you leave in the morning.
