Cheap and cheerful. Close enough to Gatwick. Check ahead for gate code if like us you approach from wrong direction. Easy access over the bridge if you have the code but 12 Mile detour if you don't.

I have no qualm with the hotel itself but having arrived in the early hours of the morning to be confronted by a barrier with no instructions no intercom I spent 40 minutes trying to find the hotel I had to go into the service station a simple notice or a number to call This really needs to be addressed and speaking to a telephone system when all you want to do is go to bed !!

Noisy location at the service area on the motorway. Property condition and maintenance was average. Wifi is not secure. The good news is a friendly snd helpful staff. And 20 minutes from LGW airport.

We were quite comfortable staying here! It’s a truck stop, so there was laundry by credit card in the courtyard. There’s a McDonald’s, Costa coffee, and other shops right there! The hotel offered a discount card for purchase that can be used for dining at any of the options there. Staff was super friendly, and even delivered my Dominoes pizza to our room!

Ideal for an overnight stay to break a long journey. My room was comfortable and quiet; shower gel/shampoo and tea/coffee were provided in the room. Parking isn't particularly clear. At some other Service Stations, there are dedicated spaces for the attached hotel and if you park in the main Services area you'll get a fine if you stay longer than 2 hours. Here, you do park in the main Services car park but your car registration will be noted when you check in.

Myself and my two children arrived very late at 2:00 a.m. in the morning at the hotel. I have found the reception staff to be very friendly and kind when checking in. We were checked into room 5 and as we got ready to go to bed both my children had fallen as deep asleep. I got into the bed. I realised there was a really weird that smell only to find a massive patch of wet area on the bed. We were all very tired and it was 40 late for me to move rooms or even complain about the situation. So I slept with my two children on a sofa bed. The next morning I got up and told reception as we were leaving the situation. The only response I got was I'm really sorry and we've had this happen a few times. The cleanliness of the hotel really needs looking at and some of the fixtures definitely need to be upgraded as there is a horrible dump and stinky smell coming from the bathrooms and the bed.

The actual hotel bears no resemblance the photos. Flies in room, filthy carpets with large bleach stains , water damaged ceilings, cleaning rags scattered through the hall way. The lady at check in was very nice.

The hotel was affordable and in a service station so I wasn’t expecting the ritz but what I didn’t expect was a damp ridden hotel. The room and hallways stank and were visibly wet. The paint was peeling off the walls. There was rust and mildew in the rooms. The room was so damp that the fresh towels were wet to touch as was the mattress. The lady on reception however was lovely. Whole place needs a complete revamp.

Friendly and helpful welcome and spacious room. However decor clearly lacked any recent investment and with lukewarm water and the promise of a plumber on the day I left, I felt at least the offer of a room change would have been offered ….unless the hot water deficiency was prevalent across the whole hotel.

The the lady who checked me in was very friendly and personable. I felt right at home talking with her. The rooms are a good size, there's plenty of hot water for showers, and there's lots of selection for food just across from the motel. The rooms are a little old, but clean. My room smelled a little musty, but it might be just due to the age of the motel. For a stop along your journey, it will do just fine. I really appreciate the friendly service. On checking outThe the man on duty was also quite friendly. Discounts were a lot.

Staff on the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. Room was well cleaned and the bed was comfortable. There was a little bit of traffic noise/cool air coming in from around the window frames but considering that it's in a service area on the M25, the noise reduction wasnt bad. Food obtained from the services opposite but you can buy a few small bits from the reception which can be useful

Bit tired in places, nice sized room. Bit mouldy round window and paper peeling off wall. Bed was comfy, ideal for an overnight stay, close to Gatwick but heard no planes. Daughters had rats fighting outside their room.

Room was clean, staff were friendly & helpful. Only downsides were .. 1. bed too close to wall on one side whilst lots of room on the other side 2. no USB sockets in the room 3. no electric socket near the bed.

I was upset when I arrived at the hotel but the young receptionist was so very kind and compassionate with her warm words of understanding and offer of making a cup of tea. She was patient with me as I had misplaced my room door key and changed my room from ground floor to a first floor room as she knew I felt unsafe. I hope she receives some recognition from her supervisors as her customer service was above and beyond. The only negative about my experience was there was no shower gel in the bathroom so I had to use the hand wash but I guess that is a housekeeping issue.

It was fine, but nothing special. The lady at the front desk was the highlight, very friendly and kind. Made the check in super quick! And answered all my questions. Room is very average, but I never felt unsafe so what more can you ask for. It was perfect for what we needed, a reasonable place to stay for a quick drive to the airport for an early morning flight.

I received a very friendly welcome on arrival. During the night i had some issues and went to see reception. I was greeted by Liam on the desk and he was fantastic. So helpful in resolving my issue and then making sure i had everything I needed. Some of the best service I've ever received.

Absolutely fantastic. Cathy and Jay especially were very kind, helpful, and hospitable. They have gone above and beyond in every circumstance. Please give them both a RAISE! This was as our first stay away with our puppy and they made us feel at ease as we were quite anxious with taking her away for a short while, I couldn't thank them enough. We hope to return in the future! Thanks again! 🙂

Stay was great, nice comfy bed! clean and tidy, for the money its excellent Tracey on the front desk was great, lovely and friendly and as there was a little problem with the Hot Water in the rooms which was being fixed, i was given a £10 voucher to spend the next morning at any of the food outlets. All in all the place was a great stay overnight and i would definately stay here again.

Considering the hotel is at M25 services, there was no traffic noise. The lady on check in was very friendly and made a fuss of the dog. The room was a bit dated but it was a dog-friendly room so can understand that. The only downsides were the toilet cistern took an age to refill after being flushed and the room smelt a little musty but for the price we paid, those of very minor complaints. It was good value for money.

It wasn’t clear that this property was on the highway. Because we were coming through the the village we had to drive around and lose almost 40 minutes (additionally there were roadworks). Also we had to park the car on a very busy services station. If that had been visible on the bokking website we would have not booked it.

I didn't realise when I booked the hotel was on the motorway services. However we were able to use the service road to access in and out of the services without going on the M25. Room was clean everything you needed. The lady on reception was so helpful told us where to find local places to eat and even gave me the fan from reception for my room as it was so hot. It's not a luxury hotel but the service was fantastic and the room comfortable would definitely book again.

We always receive a warm welcome at Days Inn Clackett Lane. Very comfy beds, food available nearby, tea and coffee in the room. The proximity to Gatwick airport is perfect for us when taking early flights.

Great welcome and very accommodating. Room was clean and spacious. Directly opposite service station which made it easy to buy food and drinks. Comfortable bed. Excellent value for money. No hot water late at night when we arrived but there was in the morning. Be sure to close the room door as it doesn’t always shut tight.

No nonsense hotel for the traveller. Pretty basic price but we had a friendly welcome and a good stay. Hotel room was spotless, fluffy towels, clean/fresh linen and lots of hot water for the shower. No food available but 10m away was a food court with a number of food choices. Opposite the hotel was a laundry. Have no negative comments to make

The property was clean and good value. Although located at the services we did not hear any noise. Bed was very comfortable. The services themselves felt run down with a lack of places to eat as many of them were shut. However good pub in Westerton which was only 5 mins away using the key code to exit and enter through Clacket Lane
