Property and staff great, area hotel is is concerning, as it can be very dark, secluded. I probably wouldn’t go out after dark for that reason. Thru no fault of the comfort inn, of course. Just Sharing. Maybe brighter lights outside or helping guests navigate , how to get where?. Buses/ shuttles/ taxi numbers.. etc. thanks for another great stay, i always stay with you! !

We always stay at this hotel when we come to Timmins. We love the location, the cleanliness of the rooms and that the ground floor has patio doors. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who has a medical appt at the hospital. Great rates.

Property was well cared for. We know what to expect with regard to breakfast facilities, however, at this establishment, the dining room opened at 6:00 am, and at 6:10 it was basically cleaned out. We didn’t talk to the attendant, who seemed busy and decided to hit the road. The ice machine was locked in a small room with the laundry machines. A minor inconvenience. Overall, other than a dangerous entrance and exit to the highway, it’s a pretty good place to stay in Timmins.

Room was exceptionally clean, property was quiet, and the front-desk girl was friendly and quick. My son said the room smelt good. I appreciated the 11 o’clock check-out and I think every hotel should have that check-out time. Only con was the mattress was not very comfortable and I left with a sore back, but I can expect that when staying in a hotel.

The room was filthy! Other guests dirty socks in the wardrobe, garbage under both beds and behind the nightstand, not vaccumed under the desk, fan in bathroom had a thick layer of dust etc. The parking lot wasn't plowed at all making it hard to get in and out. I breakfast was not good. Eggs, bacon and potatoes were cold and not enough other options. I will never stay there again. Worth it to spend the extra money and stay at a better hotel.

The room smelled funky. Would you be up to doing a deep clean? The carpets. Even the heating/cooling was spewing out the funky smell. Hair in one of the beds and the way the creases were in the sheet, it looked like it had already been previously used. Grabbed one of the facecloths and found a long strand of hair. Grabbed another facecloth and found another strand of hair. The room I stayed in was opposite the entrance to the second floor. Lots of opening and closing throughout the night - understandable. Would you consider sound-proofing the door…even sealing the threshold could help and adding some padding.

The bed was hard and it was a very noisy bed. Also, the doors of people leaving early (I do understand that there are contractors who stay there) slammed early in the morning. I'd suggest putting known contractors at one end where they can use one exit door and other guests at another end. It wasn't a terrible stay, and the staff is amazing. Just a suggestion.

Only real complaint would be the noise level. We could hear anyone and EVERYONE walking by in the hallway talking at normal level. Was way worse when they were louder than a normal conversation. Didn’t sleep much because there was a considerable amount of noise but other than that all relatively ok.

I had booked a ground floor room but ended up with a 2nd floor . The building is showing it’s age, the lobby stair carpet were very tattered. Went down to breakfast to find the dining area packed. No place to sit. There was a toaster, waffle maker & brewed coffee. There was hot food, well warmish, scrambled eggs, tatter tots and small breakfast sausages. The coffee was weak and they had freakishly small cups. The room was clean, there was a small fridge, microwave, small coffee maker and a big tv with a good selection of channels. It served its purpose giving me a comfortable place to sleep for the 2 nights I was in Timmins. Though probably won’t stay here again.

The guy at the front was so rude when we checked in did not tell us any breakfast time which we missed the next day . Did not greet us . the room smelled so bad , the towels were stinky and the bedsheet even . When we went to the front desk to talk to this guy he said it is wat it is .

The front lady on check in refused Paige to register and be allowed to go to room. She demanded $100.00 as deposit and refused to give room key. We already lost out on 2night and upon check in, refused entry. This is disrespectful and will recommend that no one stays there. I will not use this hotel again in Timmins.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They're all easy going and didnt even hesitate when I showed up with my dog. I usually warn the hotel in advance but this was last minute. Everyone I met was chatty and enthusiastic. They answered any questions I had and respected our privacy. Overall, incredible stay with wonderful staff, convenient parking and hotel location, pet friendly and spotless rooms.

The room didn't have an alarm clock, asked for one to no avail, I needed to be up at 5 am for medical appointment. Front desk assured me that I would receive a wake up call at that time, however, I did not.

When notified that the tpilet in my room was clifged, i was handed a plunger. Call me entitled if you like but no one paying for a hotel room should have to tend to their own plumbing. The staff thinking this funny helped nothing. Speaking with the man who came to help me, i learned that the room is notorious amongst the staff for the clogged toilet.

Hotel was really good from the start checkin was pleasant room nice, included breakfast was great. Only draw back was my truck was broken into during the night. This had nothing to do with the hotel, i travel to Timmins often i am from there, the city is a disgrace. I will stay at this Comfort Inn again but only when i need to come to Timmins staff really try hard hotel is great
