Fantastic hotel!! Beautiful lobby and room. Complimentary hot chocolate at check-in. One of the staff at the front desk (I think her name was Ivy) helped us book our bus back to Hanoi. The swimming pool was very grand. Small gym with two treadmills and a few weight machines (nicer than any other hotel gyms we had in Vietnam). I did a spa treatment which was wonderful. It included a complimentary sauna and steam room. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Hotel de la Coupole

This hotel is so incredibly lavish. I can’t even describe how absolutely stunning it is. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We got in very early from the train and they allowed us to have a rest near the pool and also a workout in the gym while we waited for our room to be ready. We had a drink at the bar one night and it is also something that you should make sure and go to. I can’t speak highly enough of this hotel. We did a two night trek into the villages and when we got back, they allowed us to store our bags there, even though we had checked out yesterday! We are so happy that we are also going to be staying at the same hotel chain in Hoi An in a few more days!

5 Stars is not enough. This is the most spectacularly hotel I have ever had the privilege to visit. If you think it looks amazing from the outside, wait till you get inside. The lobby, restaurant and bar have been decorated with such incredible attention to detail. Then the indoor pool takes it to another level. Our room was similarly decorated to the same level with a small balcony overlooking the town and valley beyond. The food in the restaurant is spectacular as was the vast breakfast buffet. The staff are super friendly and helpful. A special mention of Mai who gave us a guided tour and lots of helpful advice about the surrounding area. I am struggling to think of anything that could be improved upon. A couple of chairs and a small table on each balcony would be nice, but that’s about it. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing hotel all around! The location can't be beat, with the Sapa Station in the building, and everything is within walking distance including shopping and plenty of restaurants. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Best of all, it is an absolutely gorgeous building and our room was stunning. We would absolutely recommend this place and will gladly stay again - we didn't want to leave!

This is an amazing hotel in an amazing location - the Rooftop bar absolutely needs to be experienced. Everything here was perfect, except for the level of attention in our room. Some items weren't replaced daily and my CPAP machine was never put back in place each time the bed was made or turned down. Originally booked a night but after seeing the facilities and beauty of this hotel we added extra night. Everything at this hotel was without a fault. The biggest wow was the pool area and stunning views from balcony and top floor. The customer service exceeded our expectations. We were allowed to use the pool area and showers as we have arrived very early at 6am, despite checking time at 2pm. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

This was my second stay as I was here a year ago too. Slightly disappointed with the feeling that the place is insufficiently loved and cared for. There was dust in the areas hardly used but great for photos. We looked at every nook and cranny of this amazingly gorgeous property. The staff were cold and business like, so different from the previous property we stayed at before our trekking trip away. They seem to know they have a special property and instead of laying thick the feeling of hospitality, there was almost disdain and pride in the manner of services from the front desk to the breakfast room. The breakfast however, is simply outstanding and a class above anything else. It was Easter weekend and they truly to the theme to heart. As we celebrate, we were especially grateful by the special touches. Rooms feel small and not brightly lit at all. The pool area is always the most gorgeous in the property, but it is ashame the terrace outside overlooking the mountains was neglected and dusty.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the pool is amazing. However, the pillows were lumpy and the linen had holes. Also the staff treated me as a thief. During check out they asked if I took anything from the minibar. I said just a sparkling water. Then they told me to wait while they had someone check my room “in case I forgot something”. I told them no thanks and they had me wait anyways while they checked. They wanted to check that I didn’t steal anything from the room.

The check-in staff were friendly & allowed us to use the showers at the swimming pool when we arrived 8am from Hanoi. The room was well equipped & bed was comfortable. The bathroom tiles were stained but didn't appear dirty, although a deep cleana would be good.

Loves: The Indochine decor and baroque style architecture. The bright mustard yellow facade. Being able to converse with reception comfortably in English. The gorgeous Grand Bassin. Room for Improvement: M Coupole offers priority queue for the monorail up Fansipan, but we were told the first train leaves at 8:00 when in fact it starts at 7:30 am. You can understand our chagrin at realizing this since we were on a tight schedule to go up Fansipan and return by 12 pm that day. Right across the street is a lovely row of shops - it gets very loud with techno (?) music all the way up until about midnight so bring earplugs if you need to sleep early. You only get 2 tiny bottles of water each day and you’ve to call housekeeping for more. They don’t change your in-room slippers each days.

The location is fantastic and the interior decor is something to admire - the fashion theme is unique. However we had issues with our room - the telephone did not work even after a maintenance repair. Apparently the air conditioning only works if you ask to have the temp lowered. They did not tell us this when we checked in and we simply changed the thermostat thinking that is what we need to do. For a 5 star hotel that is not good enough.

This is an amazing hotel conveniently located and with beautiful views of the mountains and the city. We stayed for only 2 nights and I wish we could’ve had more time to stay longer and enjoy everything this hotel has to offer. Location is good for everything. Sunplaza is exactly there. However, the main door and balcony door locks are faulty. Also, my room faced ferris wheel light bulbs at night. I requested a change but the staff only suggested a room but a garden view. Thus, we decided not to change rooms but to have faulty door locks to be fixed.

We arrived at the hotel around 6am after our sleeper bus ride and already experienced the warm hospitality - we were served hot chocolate and the hotel staff offered to store our luggages so that we can go off to explore. We got our room after lunch. It was huge and had the largest balcony and bathroom for all the hotels we ever stayed at. The view was spectacular! The hotel itself was very nicely decorated and pretty. Would highly recommend to stay here!

The staff at this place are incredible. If you have any issues they will resolve it in matter of minutes. You have to do the trip to Fansipan as if you stay there you get a free upgrade to VIP and fast track. Take advantage of this as it will make the trip that much more convenient. One of the best places I’ve stayed and would recommend every time asked.

Lovely, grand and opulent hotel in the heart of Sapa. Beautiful decor and excellent, friendly staff (especially Khuong who gave us a tour of the hotel and recognised us every time we saw him). Recommend staying here for 1-2 nights if in Sapa! Although hotels a little bit outside of the centre do offer better views from your room of the nearby hills and Sapa scenery. Breakfast / dining room is impressive, and the breakfast itself has huge variety and excellent quality - the best we’ve had in Vietnam.

Loved the unique themed interior design, the convenience of location. Definitely one of a kind. However I do feel like for a 5 star hotel the services were kind of “meh. The bar staff took more than 15minutes to serve the cocktails we ordered despite there only being two other guests in the bar. The room service alcohol of just gin and ice would take over thirty minutes and when I asked a hotelier where I would be able to rent a bicycle she told me the shop across the road I could get a motorbike but otherwise I would have to look it up ourselves to get a bike. I think this was a let down as when you stay in a 5 star hotel run by M group, you would expect exceptional service as well. The doorman were lovely and other reception staff very attentive esp with luggage. Wish the standard of service was with all staff. I also feel like for a five star hotel putting a disclaimer for not changing bed linen for the duration of your stay is a little strange. I didn’t see this for the other M Gallery hotel I went to in Vietnam

Great hotel with fab decor and indoor pool, right in the heart of Sapa. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby and the Fansipan ticket office is just round the corner. We stayed just one night at Hôtel de la Coupole – MGallery in Sapa and wished we had more time to soak it all in. Booked the Executive Suite with stunning panoramic mountain views—truly a beautiful room! The hotel surprised us with thoughtful anniversary amenities and even extended early check-in and late checkout as a courtesy (though not guaranteed). Hotel is gorgeous. A bit overdone by the design, but I guess that was the whole point… Wish rooms had a desk, unfortunately, no desk, so it was not possible for me to work on my computer. Doing it in bed, not so comfortable… Swimming pool is gorgeous. Food at the restaurant was VERY disappointing; ordered many dishes for dinner, spent 3 million Dong. Only one fish was actually delicious. Most were just fine and one was not edible…! I returned it, since really, it was not possible to eat it, it was horrible. And still, I was charged for it.

This hotel is an attraction in its own right. The attention to detail in the architecture and interior design is impeccable. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The one area for improvement would be the dining. The quality of the food is only average. There are better options in Sapa at much lower prices.

Wonderful hotel! We had a lovely time. We truly enjoyed the location, the architecture and their breakfast ! Highly recommend
