Hyatt House Louisville East

Good hotel- room was clean, comfortable, quiet. All you need really! Also there are 8 Flo EV chargers very close in the parking lot it shares with an apartment building that we’re all functioning. Will stay again!

This was the second time I stayed at this property. It is very nice, accommodating and in a great area. The shower is amazing. They allowed me to have my small dog no questions asked. I will definitely stay there again.

My family was only there for a very brief time but we were all very impressed. We very much enjoyed our stay. And being pet friendly was awesome for us as we were traveling with our dog. Thank you!!

This property looks brand new! We reserved a king room which turned out to be a suite; really, a tiny apartment with a full service kitchen, large bathroom, and seating area w/sofabed separated from the king bed by a large TV on a swivel. Very clean with all you should need in the kitchen. The property also has a workout room, pool, and amazing full breakfast buffet with delicious offerings. Everyone was pleasant. The bar is comfortable with a nice outside area. There are EV chargers on the property, which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel, but they were not working, which was a disappointment. Overall, a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

Great breakfast, lots of complimentary items like coffee, water, even saw some kids get free snacks. Gym, pool, all nice and clean.

This is a lovely, clean, modern hotel with all the conveniences! Pool, bar with food, full breakfast, laundry room, EV charging, coffee and tea always available. Even the least expensive room has a full kitchen! Everyone is very nice and helpful and they make every effort to accommodate requests. Great property!

Room was dirty

This place is still milking the Covid as an excuse to not clean your room for 4 days crap. Trying to save money this way is not smart. Asked for towels and coffee and never showed up and had to go down to the desk and ask again the next day to get it. Finally got the towels and coffee on day 3 of 4. Breakfast is excellent and great kitchen staff but the front desk help is still reliving 2020 and 2021. Bad idea

I was appalled by the lack of housekeeping! When I arrived late at night, there are crumbs on the rug, a dirty sock under the desk, used underwear between the couch and footstool, used coffee pouch in the coffeemaker, and no coffee cups. End of next day_ none of that fixed, except the coffeemaker, bed not made. Sunday: bed made, but T.P. removed! Monday: bed not made, still no vacuum or underwear pickup. I won't come again!

The overall stay was excellent. However, I wish they would have informed us before we checked, or as we checkin, that they only clean rooms every other day! Otherwise, our 3-room party enjoyed their stay!

Overall a very nice property, however the cleanliness of the room and maintenence follow-up was poor, not upto Hyatt standards. The pull-out bed was very dirty/gross, with popcorn and hair ties from the previous guest, dirty dishes with food on them left in the dishwasher. The shower head sprayed everywhere; on the ceiling and out the top, leaving everything in the bathroom soaked. Not a big deal, just needed to be fixed or replaced. However after requesting 3 different times, it was never looked at or fixed over our four night stay. Very disappointing, especially when we were paying over $300 per night for the king suite.

This was our second time staying and I’d say we would come back, we were just a tad disappointed this trip. When we got there the room hadn’t been vacuumed there were crumbs all in the kitchen and short hairs (like from a guy shaving) all in the bathroom. It also had an overwhelming cologne smell in the drawers and closet, guessing from the previous stay. So we were a little annoyed by that, but we asked them to come vacuum and they came right away and were very nice. The next day we had planned on using the indoor pool with our son in the AM before lunch and it was closed for maintenance from 9am until about 1pm. Breakfast was great. Parking is a breeze. Very quiet hotel.

Room was very spacious and modern. Was a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the room though. I would stay there again.

The staff at the front desk was very nice the Cleanliness was below 0 and when whom ever came to clean the room to remove dirty blankets that had blood snot and what ever else that was all over the bed they didn’t even bother to leave a clean towel or take the dirty ones.

Upon check-in, the pullout bed was full of popcorn and hair ties from the previous guest, and the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Gross!!! The water pressure was excellent, however our shower head was spraying all the ceiling and bathroom. We requested 3 times for someone to fix it, but no one ever came. This was very frustrating as the bathroom was soaking wet on the floors, walls and ceiling. I expect far better from Hyatt!

I wish I could give 5 stars. The bathroom door (a sliding barn door) was a terrible decision. It’s a great aesthetic but awful for privacy while on the toilet. Even worse was the motion activated air conditioning. It wouldn’t be activated at night because we were lying still so it would get really stuffy. One of us would have to periodically wave an arm around to activate it. We woke up exhausted and overheated every morning. This is apparently something a lot of hotels are doing because it’s more economical. Ugh! The breakfast buffet was pretty typical but no pancake or waffle maker. This wasn’t a big deal for us but if you have kids it could be for you. Those things aside… we were very pleased. Very clean. New & modern. Great staff. Large rooms (bigger than my first apartment). Lots of restaurants nearby.

Our bathroom door was off the track and fell on us several times.

The staff was helpful & amazing. The room was so nice! The shower pressure amazing. I don’t know if this is standard for hotels now but to stream our own shows from our phones was cool. Definitely would stay here again.

Loved our stay at the Hyatt House! Our room was spotless! Great studio layout with a small kitchenette, “living room” and spin around TV- either in seating area or bedroom. Bed was super comfy. Big shower with massive water pressure! Breakfast was very good. The day we were there it was chicken and waffles; made to order omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, assorted yogurts. Overall a nice spread. There is a small pool and nice workout area with treadmills and weights. Main lobby has nice seating area with a small bar. Would totally stay again if in the area

Wonderful hotel! King studio was perfect and spacious. Lobby and breakfast area were well designed.

Nice suite plenty of space

The hotel and our room was clean, comfortable, modern, friendly staff and had the best breakfast we've had on our month long road trip. It was had a great exercise room. We had a king bed that was comfortable. We loved the full sized fridge and microwave. It was close to a lot of restaurants and easy to get to downtown from there. My only complaint is the room has a light weight blanket on the bed which was like having on two sheets. And there was no extra blanket in the room.

We were impressed from the moment we arrived to the property. Easy and friendly check-in, fantastic lobby and bar area with tons of room to spread out, and clean and quiet 5th floor room that met all our needs. The kitchenette was stocked with all the cookware, dinnerware, and utensils we needed for a quick meal or snack and the large island was great for eating and playing games at or getting some work done. The TV that rotated towards the bedroom or the couch in the living space was a nice feature that our 14-year-old thought was pretty cool! Abundant closet space for all of our luggage and the BEST shower pressure capped off a great three-night stay. Would stay again and would recommend highly!

This hotel had the best water pressure in the shower than any other hotel I have stayed at. The bed was also very comfortable.

Staff was lovely. Room was clean and comfortable. I slept so very well during our stay. I will stay again in the future and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

It took 10 mins for the front desk clerk to arrive after a bell had been rung, but someone who wasn’t even on the clock tried to help in the meantime. Friendly staff. Very clean. Bed and pillows are extremely comfortable and the shower had great water pressure!

The staff from check-in to check-out and everything in between was super great. The young woman at the front desk both nights was really pleasant and helpful. She's really the one you want making that first impression. The breakfast is probably the best we've ever had a hotel. A lot of options and everything was hot and fresh. Overall, the hotel and its staff makes an effort and it shows.

We enjoyed our stay as a family of 4. At first we were given a 2 queen room, but I had requested a studio suite. Thomas at the front desk was able to accommodate and switched us with no hesitation. Thank you!

Didn’t check in, informed at the desk that there would be an additional $100 pet fee Hotels. Com said all fees were included. The Hotel refused to refund and hotels said nothing they could do.

My husband and I stayed at your hotel for our anniversary, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing due to ongoing air conditioning issues. When we arrived, our room temperature was 79°F. We set the thermostat to 68°F and waited about 30 minutes, but the temperature did not change. We then lowered it to 65°F, but although the thermostat displayed 65°F, the room remained uncomfortably warm. We contacted the front desk and were told that the unit was an “eco AC” system that required time and movement to cool. We understand that, but if the thermostat is incorrectly reading the room temperature, it cannot properly regulate the air. The only solution offered at the time was a fan. After another hour and a half without improvement, I still couldn’t sleep especially uncomfortable since I’m wearing a medical boot. We left the room for a while to cool off and returned just before 1:00 a.m, but it was still hot. I called the front desk again and requested a new room, because I can’t sleep. The new room was somewhat better it was warm (75 degrees) but the temperature began to drop within 15 mins. This experience was extremely disappointing, particularly on what was meant to be a special occasion for us. We pick this hotel for the reviews and not the price. I would have rather stayed in a cheaper hotel where the A/C worked or the front desk move use immediately rather having to sit for hour before moving.

Staff goes out of their way to make staying here an extremely pleasant experience. Staff is very friendly, well trained in hospitality and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay away from home is as relaxing as possible.

This Hotel was a in a great location for my husband and I while on our anniversary trip. About 20 minutes from downtown and close to at least 2 shopping centers/malls. The room was very clean and had everything we needed to relax and be comfortable. The breakfast was also very good.

Great location for our adventures into the Louisville historic district, Churchill Downs and distilleries. The hotel was modern. The room was large and equipped with a kitchenette. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location with plenty of conveniences around such as grocery, food options, entertainment etc. Parking was easy. Enjoyed my short visit there!

We liked the properly a lot and would return. They advertise their excellent breakfast - which is not good at all. We didn't care about that, but it was really bad. The staff was so nice and helpful.

Super clean hotel. Wonderful breakfast options, they even made fresh omelets daily. The staff went above nice and friendly. Bartender gentleman was so informative and friendly, dinner the was great.

This hotel was great! The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding with a variety of options. The staff were friendly and welcoming. And the area had many great dining options. This is definitely where I will stay anytime I visit Louisville.
