Hindustan By Backpackers Heaven - Traveller's Choice Award 2026 Best of Best Winning Hotel

It was so lovely to stay again in New Hindustan by Backpackers Heaven. My last stay was in 2019 and was so good that I made sure I was booked in for my latest stay in Delhi. The staff were so helpful and friendly and were happy to arrange reasonably priced transportation to and from the airport. They also helped us with sight seeing transport. I felt very safe staying here and it was very easy to find tuk tuks to go into the centre of town. The rooftop is lovely for breakfast. The area has mixed safety reviews and not good to wander round looking lost especially at night. But that is the case anywhere in Delhi. The hostel itself is very safe. The rooms at the front 101 and 201 are very good and worth putting up with a little street noise. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends. All in all a very reasonable price for those looking for a more budget friendly option in Delhi.

We stayed 3 nights at the New Hindustan by Backpackers Heaven the price is right and the service is really nice. The best thing was to met Jahn who helped us plan our trip through India. He made really good suggestions and showed us what is possible. Without him we wouldn‘t experience India completly. Just for him, his positivity and his effort to give us the full experience of India I would stay there again. No regrets to choose this place at all

I had great time Hindustan hotel the rooms were very and comfortable ,wifi was good The rooftop restaurant too good and food was delicious. Walking distance from metro station and New Delhi train station Highly recommend
