Cute boutique hotel close to downtown and many tourist attractions. The staff at the front desk are amazing. They are friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and the beds are super comfy. The only issue I had was that the housekeeping could be more thorough. There were several long pieces of hair found in the bathroom and one on the bed. The location is great and you can walk to most of the tourist locations from the hotel. The breakfast is good. I wish the fruit was covered since there were flies around. They could have had more hot items and a variety of eggs. We were only there for one night so didn’t get a chance to use the gym or rooftop. I would stay there again because I found the neighbourhood safe and the staff easy to talk to.

Fabulous! Staff took excellent care of me. I wished I could stay longer. It is clear that employees here take pride in their hotel. I was grateful for all the thoughtful touches. Make sure you order bedtime empanadas from room service at least once as a treat. Breakfast is also outstanding.

We had a delightful time. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was very helpful. From making tango dinner reservations to helping us find banks , grocery store, and restaurants. Room service and breakfast were both good additions to our stay. Rooms were well appointed and in great condition and very comfortable.

We were amazed at the quality of this hotel compared to the price. Rooms were large and spotless, breakfasts were included and excellent, and the rooftop patio was a great spot for a sunset drink. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.

This a a perfect hotel to stay at when visiting Buenos Aires. Central location. Great breakfast and the staff are friendly and helpful. The view from the top balcony is fabulous. There is a wine shop just a few doors down to enjoy at sunset

Great boutique hotel in a great location in Centro. Staff are very helpful and breakfast was above average. The room was very comfortable with the best rain shower head i have ever experienced. Roof top patio is very cool. Recommended.

Lovely small hotel, with amazing helpful staff, in a nice location, and at a reasonable price. No restaurant, but a nice breakfast is provided. We received flexible time for both check-in and check-out. Also received great advice on local attractions and activities. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved my stay here, friendly staff and they have everything you need. Spacious rooms, service, a small rooftop, gym and complimentary water which is very rare in south america. Delightful, close to all major tourist attractions, beautiful cobble stone streets nearby and much more. Location is more queit thn palermo and other buzzing neighbourhoods. Limited but delicious breakfast, on new years eve they even provided a champagne bottle plus provided other instructions as well on new years eve which i think is a great addition

Amazing stay at Carles Hotel. Clean room, surprisingly quiet even you’re in a busy area. Friendly staff, great breakfast! Will definitely book again here when I return to Buenos Aires. Highly recommended!! The only thing I can mention is I forgot my sweater at the cabinet. One place I didn’t check, my fault.

Excellent staff. Hotel employees were all well-trained, efficient, polite, and helpful. The preceding description includes the front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff. I would like to give a special commendation to Cecilia, who emailed me ahead of time to confirm my airport shuttle, spent ample time with me upon my arrival, answered all my questions, and had the best English-speaking skills of the staff. The room was only medium in size, but ergonomically designed, whereby it was highly functional, with closet and drawer space exceeding much larger rooms; comfortable chairs; a desk; a decent sized TV with access to ESPN to watch American college football; an excellent view from two windows; curtains that closed off all light at night; a comfortable bed; no difficulty sleeping from exterior street noise (but some morning interior hallway noise from housekeeping or persons exiting adjacent rooms); a spacious bathroom; and an awesome shower that quickly turned hot when required and delivered water with pressure rarely seen nowadays in hotels. Consequently, the room was slightly under 300 sq. feet, but was functionally much larger and never felt cramped. Breakfast was good- beter than Fairfield or Hampton Inn, but not equal to 5-star hotels I've visited in Europe and Montreal. And an outstanding location, in a safe area proximal to many retaurants, sites, and mass transportation. I felt comfortable walking day and night near the hotel.

We had an amazing stay at the Carles. The staff, Cecelia, Ailen and another young man could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The location was convenient for all of our activities. The bed was wonderful, the bathroom very clean with lots of fresh towels. It was lovely that you could open the windows for fresh air and a view of the city. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Fresh eggs, cooked to your liking, gourmet coffee, breads and fruits. We stayed there on two occasions—two nights before our Antartica trip and for three nights after. They made good suggestions for restaurants and bars and arranged for a super tango show. We would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was beautiful and convenient to the parks and tourist areas of Buenos Aires. But, where the hotel excelled was their exemplary staff. They helped with reservations, recommendations, tours, dinner, lent me a converter for power, spoke English, and were so friendly. Bravo!!!

I would like to give a special commendation to Cecilia, who emailed me ahead of time to confirm my airport shuttle, spent ample time with me upon my arrival, answered all my questions, and had the best English-speaking skills of the staff. The room was only medium in size, but ergonomically designed, whereby it was highly functional, with closet and drawer space exceeding much larger rooms; comfortable chairs; a desk; a decent sized TV with access to ESPN to watch American college football; an excellent view from two windows; curtains that closed off all light at night; a comfortable bed; no difficulty sleeping from exterior street noise (but some morning interior hallway noise from housekeeping or persons exiting adjacent rooms); a spacious bathroom; and an awesome shower that quickly turned hot when required and delivered water with pressure rarely seen nowadays in hotels. Consequently, the room was slightly under 300 sq. feet, but was functionally much larger and never felt cramped. Breakfast was good- beter than Fairfield or Hampton Inn, but not equal to 5-star hotels I've visited in Europe and Montreal. And an outstanding location, in a safe area proximal to many retaurants, sites, and mass transportation. I felt comfortable walking day and night near the hotel.

The location of this hotel is centrally located to all the beautiful Buenos Aires sites and Galleries. The front desk staff is helpful 24/7 in making reservations for taxis, tango shows, tours, etc. The full breakfast every morning is delicious and the rooms are roomy. brigh t and modern. We an't wait to stay there again on our next visit to BA.

Cute boutique hotel close to downtown and many tourist attractions. The staff at the front desk are amazing. They are friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and the beds are super comfy. The only issue I had was that the housekeeping could be more thorough. There were several long pieces of hair found in the bathroom and one on the bed. The location is great and you can walk to most of the tourist locations from the hotel. The breakfast is good. I wish the fruit was covered since there were flies around. They could have had more hot items and a variety of eggs. We were only there for one night so didn’t get a chance to use the gym or rooftop. I would stay there again because I found the neighbourhood safe and the staff easy to talk to.

Fabulous! Staff took excellent care of me. I wished I could stay longer. It is clear that employees here take pride in their hotel. I was grateful for all the thoughtful touches. Make sure you order bedtime empanadas from room service at least once as a treat. Breakfast is also outstanding.

We stayed twice at the Carles Hotel (2 nights before and 2 nights after our cruise). Our room for the first stay was much nicer (upgraded) compared to second stay. Both were clean, hot showers. Breakfast was good, continental and some cooked options. Confusingly the hotel info on Expedia said it had restaurant - it does not. Very good location, walking distance to hop on off bus, money exchange and restaurants. Staff extremely helpful and friendly giving us tips on restaurants and on the Sunday San Telmo market which was great experience that we would have otherwise missed. Would stay there again.

Lovely small hotel, with amazing helpful staff, in a nice location, and at a reasonable price. No restaurant, but a nice breakfast is provided. We received flexible time for both check-in and check-out. Also received great advice on local attractions and activities. Highly recommended.
