Pros: Good place for a quick recharge. Clean location, pleasant front desk staff and owners. Helpful in all manners. King bed, very comfortable and clean.Lamp did not work, then owner awitched the pluplug into the clock's outlet and it worked (don't need the clock anyway). Appreciated the onsite laundry facilities. I like that the bathroom and the sink are separated. Pool was filled, clean, but closed our 1st night, open the next. Breakfast was asequate with sweets, cereals, oatmeal packets, and waffles, but also eggs and sausage. Hostess is very attentive. We felt safe there.

Ok, let me start by saying I have stayed in a lot of budget motels. I am used to the old decor and the patched bathtubs. The bad review is not because of those items, although they were present. The reason for the bad review is the filthy carpet. Our feet were black after walking on the carpet. I don’t think it has been shampooed this century. Beds were incredibly uncomfortable, we all woke up stiff. The other disappointment was breakfast. Good = they had hot chocolate and oranges, both were appreciated. Bad= watered down apple juice, watered down waffle mix so that the pancakes didn’t cook, and for some reason, the sausages were hard. I have never had a hotel breakfast so inedible. It was also incredibly crowded, the space is too small if the hotel is full. One bright thing in an otherwise horrible stay = great pool. It was large, clean and deep.

The room at a glance was perfect. But there were hair clippings in the tub, and candy wrappers and empty water bottles under the bed. Given the overall comfort and the high quality of the breakfast, this was a disappointment.

Breakfast wasn’t served one morning with no explanation. Carpet in room made feet turn black. Requested housekeeping for garbage, towels and toilet paper 3 days into stay and directed on how to do it ourselves. Property otherwise was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent

Very friendly staff, good breakfast. Beds were very comfy and clean. My only complaint is that the carpets in the rooms are very dirty and need to be steam cleaned I had to wear my shoes inside the room because the bottom of my feet got really black and dirty from walking barefoot on the carpets.

Clean room with all you need. Didn’t use the pool but looks nice. The breakfast is basic but you have what needed for a start of the day. The waffle maker is a bonus for kids! I could hear noise from next room which is not nice but I guess this pretty much depends on the guests. This is our first motel experience. I’d see it meets what we need as an overnight stay for key west or Everglades visit.

Good value for price and room was comfortable but hotel is rundown. Very well situated for access to Everglades & Biscayne but awkward to find. Parking is challenging. Bed was creaky but comfortable. Freezer in mini fridge didnt work. The safe looked so awful i was afraid to leave my items for fear it wouldnt work. Wifi was good but we had to log back in every hour which was annoying but wifi strength was fine. Breakfast had a nice array of items but when hotel is full, there’s no where to sit! Overall, it was a good value.

Very disappointed that there are only two outlets to plug in our devices. One is convenient on one side of the bed, the other is beside the door without any surface to lay the charging devices on. Fortunately we did bring the charging bricks since there are -0- USB charging ports in the room. In today's world, the ability to charge one's devices is a necessity, not a luxury.

It had an odor to the room that stayed in our clothes. Checkin was a slight bit confusing. The option not to be able to take the food back to the room with small children was not resionaw with checkout being 11am. Staff was a little lost when trying to find our additional reservation so we booked elsewhere. They happened to find the reservation the next morning. One of the ladies at the front in the morning was very helpful. The other was quite dry and uninterested

Our stay was fine for the one night. We were traveling and needed a place to stay and it served that purpose. At 9:30am (check out was listed as 11:00am) housekeeping was banging on our door. We were still sleeping. They wanted to know if we were still there. Yup- sleeping since we still had an hour and half until check out. At 10:30am our phone starts ringing- front desk wanting to know if we were checking out at 11. Yes, it was only 10:30, we’d be out by 11. If you are looking for a place to sleep in and relax, this is NOT it. It was fine for the one night but I would not recommend any longer than that.

This property is amazing. For the value you are getting kind responsive staff and a very clean and well kept hotel. I also enjoyed the daily hot breakfast. Not just coffee danish, but a full hot breakfast. This is Florida City's gem!!

We had a great stay at Quality Inn in Florida City. We were greeted nicely by Nick and he also checked us out. The hotel was our place to stay after venturing off into the Everglades. A few hours after we checked out, we forgot something in our room and Nick quickly retrieved it for us!

Convenient location for exploring south Florida. Property is dated. Parking lot access is difficult. Staff was friendly and efficient, but the selection and quality of food was limited. Our second night, we went out to dinner just a few blocks away and saw a stabbing at a nearby business.

Great place, we just did one night before hitting the Keys. I would definitely choose this place again. Clean, comfortable, check in process at 10pm was super fast with two girls doing a great job working the desk. Breakfast was great, eggs, sausage, waffles and all the other stuff. The little extra we paid to stay here was offset by the money saved on breakfast. Nice pool also which we didn’t use.

Pool was heated, breakfast was okay but eggs were powdered. Room is not cleaned daily,I like to have trash emptied but not a big deal. Bed was comfy and the location is near the Everglades and the Keys. Overall a decent stay.
