Rooms were large modern and clean. The bar downstairs is a nice amenity. Downtown Fernandina is just a short walk away. They did a great job rehabilitating the old school house.

My wife and I were very happy to find the Amelia School House Inn. We ended up arriving late, I called ahead to notify the staff and they were already sending me a message with late check-in instructions. Arrival was easy, the location felt secure, and the room was extremely clean! The property was neat and fit the theme of a school house. The bar on-site was a very cool feature. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The location is 5-6 blocks from the downtown shopping area, so you can take a easy walk to great shopping, food, and entertainment options. We will definitely come back.

We totally enjoyed iue stay at the Schoolhouse Inn! The restoration of the historic building was amazing, and the room was very comfortable. Having the "Principal\'s Office" bar in the lobby was a nice plus! We never moved our vehicle, as everything was in walking distance...and the entire area is gorgeous! We highly recommend staying there!

This property was a cute boutique Inn in a very desirable location . We were in town for the Island Hop Craft Beer Festival. We also did a river cruise. We literally parked our car when we arrived and never touched it until we left. Everything was a very short walk. Many wonderful shops and restaurants. Their bar had unique and delicious libations. Would highly recommend !

Wonderful inn. The property is true to its schoolhouse past and the details of that are carried throughout. Really well done! Staff is great and very helpful. The Principal’s Office is fun, there was live music the evening we were there. Would definitely stay here again. Loved it!

This was our second stay at the Amelia Schoolhouse Inn. It is beautifully designed. Everything seems brand new, and it exceptionally clean. The location is very convenient. We parked when we arrived and did not get back in our car until we departed. We walked to all favorite Fernandina spots. We will be back.

This was a super cute place! We were I. The area a week prior and they did not have any rooms available. We were traveling home from south Florida and when we saw they had a room available- we extended our trip for a night. I highly recommend. The staff was AMAZING! The property was extremely clean. It is within walking distance to so many of the shops and great food. We will go back!

The original schoolhouse has been beautifully restored, and the Amelia Schoolhouse Inn is a lovely place to stay while visiting Amelia Island. We stayed in a Classic Queen room, and it was very comfortable. The location is perfect...just a short walk to the harbor, restaurants and shopping. The staff was delightful and very welcoming. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Amelia Island!

I had a really nice one night stay. The location is perfect - easy to walk to restaurants and bars. Big, high-ceilinged rooms with a big bathroom. The bar in the inn was perfect for pre-dinner and nightcap drinks. The bartender was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend the Amelia Schoolhouse Inn.

Great place to stay and support local business and have an experience instead of a chin hotel stay. The School House Inn exceeded expectations with cleanliness, convenient, great staff, comfortable beds, an extraordinary room that we would not get anywhere else. They exceed with the small touches. Snacks, and coffee and tea 24/7. responsive staff - even after hours. would love to come back for a longer stay.

The Amelia Schoolhouse Inn was a fantastic property! From check-in to check-out, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The property is walking distance to downtown Fernandina shopping and restaurants. Nice outside courtyard area and the Principal's Bar was a fun place to get a drink. It was a great experience to stay in the original schoolhouse on Fernandina Beach, the renovations done were very impressive. Definitely would stay again!

Entire visit was amazing. From early check-in until checkout. Staff was over the top friendly. Also the ability to leave the car behind and walk the historic district for shopping and dining was invaluable. Will definitely be our new go-to place.

Rooms were small but well appointed and very clean...staff very attentive and pleasant...perfect location (5 short blocks to center of town)...very reasonably price and cool to sleep in such a historic facility...PS the principle's office bar is a great place to share stories with inn guest and locals

The original schoolhouse has been beautifully restored, and the Amelia Schoolhouse Inn is a lovely place to stay while visiting Amelia Island. We stayed in a Classic Queen room, and it was very comfortable. The location is perfect...just a short walk to the harbor, restaurants and shopping. The staff was delightful and very welcoming. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Amelia Island!

Very comfortable bed and a large shower. Really liked the old schoolhouse decor and charm. The bar and breakfast in the morning just added to this being a really nice stay!

I had a really nice one night stay. The location is perfect - easy to walk to restaurants and bars. Big, high-ceilinged rooms with a big bathroom. The bar in the inn was perfect for pre-dinner and nightcap drinks. The bartender was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend the Amelia Schoolhouse Inn.

Nice renovation of an old school into an interesting hotel. Easy access to all of the local downtown shopping and dining, within walking distance. Could have used more places to hang towels and better window coverings (blinds are difficult to close and curtains on only 1 window). Breakfast was on the light side since they have no hot kitchen that’s neither a positive or negative. Close to everything but out of the middle of it so no worries about late night noise. Great location and a well done renovation.

It felt quaint and historic, but lacked the shabbiness other places like it have. It was spotless, smelled good, everything worked perfectly. The intimate little bar off the lobby had nice entertainment. Really a great place we would visit again anytime. 20 restaurant within easy walking distance, as well as the historic district.

This place is such a unique historic treat. I highly recommend it. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms are clean and beautiful. The hotel bar is gorgeous and fun. This is one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed.

Wonderful inn. The property is true to its schoolhouse past and the details of that are carried throughout. Really well done! Staff is great and very helpful. The Principal’s Office is fun, there was live music the evening we were there. Would definitely stay here again. Loved it!

Being an old schoolhouse definitely made it unique. The room was small but didn't feel like it. The view over the courtyard was peaceful and the live music in the evenings was nice way to end the day. If you want quiet before 9 pm then I would look elsewhere but we thought it made for a nice evening. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance to everything in the historic district which was a huge plus to not have to deal with finding or paying for parking. The room and whole inn was very clean with a friendly staff. We would stay there again!
