Comfort inn, seems to be in transition…. The rooms are clean and beds fine.. bathrooms are clean but dated. Room tv is almost an antique.. picture quality just not up to today’s standards. Pool and spa were both closed and look to be for some time. The breakfast area has been updated and was very clean and presentable..

Staff was great I took this place because of pool and hot tub because I was working and have a bad back Then they were both closed for repair

Room we stayed in. They obviously had pets and I was allergic to dog hair so we had to be moved. We asked for a cot. They said no problem and then we found out that they don’t have cots also, they advertised a hot tub, but the hot tub was boarded up

Check-in was quick. Front desk staff efficient but not overly welcoming. A smile and a welcome would have been nice. LOL We were advised where to park and to use the side entry to access our room. However, the side door access was a nightmare. Another patron finally came and let us in. Key cards were totally useless. The person who let us in told us that the door was finicky and always difficult to access. At the side entrance there wasn't any ramp area to roll your bags up or down. Just a curb. So that was a bit inconvenient but not a deal breaker. Keep it in mind if you have mobility issues. Use the front entrance. The room was decent but the carpet was HORRENDOUS. VERY old, looked dirty and smelled like dirty feet. UGH!!!! smell was overwhelming every time you entered the room. Beds were super comfy. Pillows were perfect. Blankets were thin. I looked for a spare blanket but there wasn't any in the room. The shower pressure was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was decent. Staff working the breakfast area were super. Smiling, happy, friendly and helpful. Totally made the morning. The coffee was HORRIBLE but it seems that most hotels do the same nescafe powdered coffee out of the machine. I went for tea instead. Hot breakfast options were nice. Hot tub was closed which was disappointing. For the extra price paid it's not worth returning. I prefer the homey atmosphere at the Super 8 and friendly staff.

Room was comfortable, pool are was cleen and well stocked with towels. Breakfast was not great and staff in that area very rude however all other stagg were very friendly.

This property is not an accessible property, parking was terrible, steep concrete steps leading from the parking lot. They offer a complimentary breakfast which we were not able to take advantage of, as there is very little seating, was located in a very uncomfortable cramped area! Also, there were discarded needles on the property outside on the grounds!! The rooms had carpeting which was dirty and outdated, pillows were terrible the worst I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The front desk staff were lovely, only positive! Would not recommend this hotel.

The pool was small but swim-able. the hot tub was also very small

Found a cockroach climbing the wall of our room in the morning. Unfortunately this ruined all the good things about the hotel. Check-in was no problem. Very Helpful staff. Pool was small but fun. Free breakfast was great. But will not be returning.

The refrigerator was not working. They did get it going but it never really got cold. Just cool. The TV picture was grainy. The breakfast area is poorly arranged. The pancake maker is situated next to the plates and cutlery. The line for the pancakes blocks the retrieval of plates and cutlery. I don't think the grout in the bathroom has ever been cleaned. The staff was friendly & polite.

The carpets in the room were disgustingly dirty. Our feet were black just from walking around without socks on.

It felt "warm", colour wise etc. Maybe some furniture was a little bit worn, but everything was very clean, especially the bathroom, which is the most important thing to me.

The staff at this property were friendly and the location is great. However, we had ants in the room - specifically the bathroom. We were on the 3rd floor and it was during the winter so unsure how that happened. Overall would rate this property 3/5.

Beds were clean, but rooms are rundown and dirty. Needed a deep clean and a fresh paint

My room started leaking all over my bed throughout the night i woke up to a wet bed. There was another leak in front of the bathroom door

Our view outside our window was a garbage dumpster, our door was stuck and we had a hard time trying to get in. Other than that, the room was clean, bed was comfy. Staff wasn't very friendly who checked us in.

Staff are very friendly. Rooms are a nice size. They do have a smokey smell even though they are smoke free. Incredible water pressure in the shower

And “fancy” coffee machine needed cleaning both days and did not work properly. And yes I mentioned to the staff. But for an overnight sleep, it was quiet, clean and comfortable

If you like a very soft bed that you sink into you’ll love it. However, these beds hurt my back.

We have stayed in this facility several times a year over the last 5 years. It is going downhill. Little things, chipped paint, sink stopper doesn’t work but most annoyingly we aren’t able to control the temperature in the room overnight. No matter how low I set the thermostat the temperature remained at 23 C which made sleeping very difficult. We don’t keep the house at 23 during the day and 19 is recommended if the goal is to lower cost.

The rooms were very nice but the doors all creaked and didn't close well.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious and clean with a large jacuzzi tub. I'd go so far to say the stay here was more enjoyable than some higher priced hotels. Definitely worth the money!

This hotel is situated some distance from the downtown core. It isn't easy to walk anywhere, especially since the street is a high volume high speed traffic route. That said, the hotel is clean and well-appointed. Staff is friendly and fully competent. Breakfast included was more than adequate. My small criticism of the room is that the machines (HVAC & fridge) were a bit noisy. Not significantly disruptive, but overly apparent. And I wish there were an actual glass or ceramic cup in the room rather than paper cups. I'll probably visit again. although it's a bit far from town.

Good hotel, carpets needs to be changed or removed. Rooms had a musty smell.

This was a nice hotel. Recently renovated. Very comfortable beds. Connected to Kelsey's Restaurant which was very convenient. Only Con is the lack of a modern television in the room. I don't understand how hotels in this class have low definition and poor quality TVs.

The receptionist, absolute air biscuit. Very frustrating situation with her right off the hop. Sadly didn’t see her name tag. I’m checking in. She asks for a credit card. I said sorry my wife has the credit card she is getting a little spa treatment done right now. It’s our wedding anniversary today. She says ohh okay well I need the credit card to do the deposit fee. I said okay no problem I’m getting my wife to send me a photo of the card give me a few minutes. She says okay that’s great thank you. I get the picture and say okay I got the photo I’m ready. This chick goes oh sorry no I need the physical card. So why didn’t you say I need the physical card in the first place!?! I told you I’m getting a photo and you didn’t say no no I need card in hand. Let me go through with it and get a photo, call my wife, and then tell me. I was shacking my head like are you for real? I then have to drive and interrupt my wife’s spa time get the card and drive back. So off the hop not a great start. The room meh. I’ve stayed in a nicer motel. I got a “suite” and it didn’t feel like it. Bed was comfy. Cob webs on the corners of the room. Chipped paint, and every hanger for towels, and the the bracket for the door locks, were loose and wobbly. Screws weren’t fully seated in the frame. It was honestly motel level l stuff. Won’t be booking another room here. This one time was enough for me.

The hotel itself was fine, but what made our stay really wonderful was the staff. I’ve never encountered a more friendly, helpful staff who were genuinely eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Staff were friendly. Hotel was a little run down but clean for the most part. The only issue I ran into was that I was double charged for the room. The issue was quickly and affectedly taken care of by a friendly staff member at checkout. Overall not a bad place to stay.

Price changed from when i initially booked it and they wouldnt do anything about it. One of the ladies refused to take either of my cards regardless of the fact they were both valid credit cards.

Melissa checked us in and from the moment we arrived it was easy to do everything we needed to. Service was great, staff were friendly, everything was clean and tidy, loved our stay and will be back!

Upon arrival Hersey greeted me with a lovely smile that made me feel welcome. How refreshing to have staff who care about customers! She even checked in to make sure my stay was going well. Overall we had a great stay and will come again.

Great location to stay in Peterborough. Hotel is older, but it's clean and it's surrounded by stores and restaurants. The pool is nice, and the hot tub is great to unwind in after a long drive. The room I stayed in was clean, and had a great view of the surrounding city. The staff are very friendly, and helpfully recommend local entertainment and tourist spots.

Nice location. A restaurant at next door opens until 11pm, which is a big plus

This location was very convenient to get in and out of town. Of course that makes it a bit distant from waterfront and scenic. historic areas but you cannot fault it for convenient access to all types of shopping and lots of options for food.The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Excellent stay in all aspects! Quick check-in, spacious room with sofa to watch tv, comfortable bedding, quiet room, and convenience of having direct indoor access to Kelsey’s from the lobby. Very reasonably priced for the value provided. Would definitely come again!

The air conditioner only worked on one setting—ice cold. We had to just turn it off and do without. The TV was old, the picture was grainy. The breakfast area was small and couldn’t accommodate everyone so we felt we should either eat fast or take it to go to make room for others. The staff were wonderful.

Room was clean, but tub did not drain properly. During check-in reception was not so friendly and responsive to questions, but made up for it at check-out. Breakfast was okay, it would have been nice to have some eggs without cheese as an option. Many do not like or can’t eat cheese.

Room was clean. Good parking. Didn’t get to try breakfast as there was a hockey team and we couldn’t get near the food. And when we got up to the hot items there was almost nothing left. We had to be to an event and had to leave. Otherwise the stay was great
