We booked in for dinner and we would highly recommend the restaurant. We went for a refreshment in the bar. The staff were friendly and efficient ...as were the locals. They all helped us out with directions for our forth coming event in the evening. Beeakfast was the same standard as dinner.

Generally very good. Location: Kilsyth is a convenient location, while the hotel itself is very easy to find and on the main road through the town with ample parking. Food: There is a Lidl a few minutes walk away to stock up if need be while the restaurant food was amazing and reasonably priced. Cleanliness: The room's cleanliness was generally okay (with some dust and marks in the mugs being the only thing we noticed). Staff: Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Sound: This would be our biggest issue, though it wasn't too bad. Being a very popular place, we could hear music from the downstairs event area in our room, albeit very faintly. If you are a very light sleeper, I could imagine that this could be a problem. For us, it was quiet enough to be ignored and did not disrupt our sleep.

The staff were very helpful and the restaurant was excellent. The room was cold (the radiator was full on and it was warm - but the rest of the room wasn't). The television rebooted while watching and the setup had to be configured for the channels.
