Comfortable room with all amenities including shampoo and shower gel. Good walk in shower. TV did not work with remote. Great breakfast with plenty of food options to cater for all although a little slow in restocking for service. Bar and food options are good too. Well catered for children with games. Woken up by barking dog early hours and overnight which was annoying.

The hotel was convenient for the bowls championships we were attending. Staff were helpful. However there were too few of them. Rooms were fine. The food ordering system was difficult to use and the food very expensive. There wasn't enough space for all guests to be seated. The lift button to upper floors didn't work, meaning elderly guests trying to carry heavy bowls bags up stairs. The phones didn't work for outside calls, and the first staff member I spoke to about this didn't know that this was a permanent situation and said it must just be my phone. I'd left my mobile behind and had to phone home from the reception phone. Despite there being no table service, a service charge was automatically added. Most frustratingly the staff said they hadn't realised the national bowls championship was on - he biggest event Leamington hosts annually - and that they usually had special offers for bowlers but hadn't got them this year. I don't think we'll be back.

Overall a good hotel to stay at. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was extremely good. A few personal moans: Room was poorly lit. No bedside sockets. Not enough hangers or cups for twin occupancy. Shower temperature was difficult to control. Cost of 3rd parking was extortionate.

Understaffed, rooms nor cleaned. Finger marks on wardrobe door, there for all our stay. Dirty laundry dumped outside ready for collection there for two days . Staff attempting to man reception, cover bar and help with dining. Closing the bar for 15 minutes to try to catch up. Dust in dining room windowsill had been there a long time: glasses left outside lift for two days. One lift not working. The hotel needs complete overhaul with more staff. We will not be using there again.

Clean bathroom, nice foyer. That’s where it ends. This place needs a complete redo apart from that. Mould in the window area, wallpaper peeling off the walls. Mattress didn’t fit the bed. Not good.

Staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast buffet very good. Room had crumbs on floor, someone's dirty socks (not ours), a squished bug on met curtain, mildew all over tile grout in bathroom, one bed had 3 feet, splatters of god know what on bathroom door, mouldy patch on bathroom ceiling etc etc I could go on but you get the idea. Maybe other rooms are better but room 11 is no good.

Overall this hotel is comparative to others I've tried in area, location Ok, but nothing round it if you fancy venturing out as on buisness park. All staff appeared very nice and happy to help However.....I got my room rate on an early deal, Im not sure if its value for money at regular rate advertised. My room was freezing, i was given a heater when i asked, but I would have struggled to stay in the room had this not been provided.

First hotel I’ve ever been to with a choice of smoked and unsmoked bacon for breakfast, great spread and the family room had 2 large beds rather than a sofa bed.

The whole trip was spoilt after we transferred our room - broken toilet seat in the first one. the second room had a nasty humming noise from outside our room, it could be heard even with the window shut- sound not dissimilar to a generator noise.Having rang down to complain, was told all rooms were sold and there were no options- the website showed availabilty!

Staff were were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond. Room was spacious and predominantly clean. Bed was not very comfortable. Mattress was too small for base and was extremely hard.

My room was above some sort of equipment that created a continuous hum in the room and you could feel the vibrations through the floor when I took my shoes off. I might be getting old but I also found the ordering of food for dinner via a iPad on the table taxing and it took me at least 10 min to realise there was no option for tape water.

Pleasant on the whole. Cold room with a summer quilt in winter. Heating ineffective. We arrived late and wanted to rest. Instructions said need to wait and heating will kick in . It never did. A miserable night.

Very good breakfast selection. Just realised that I missed the suitcase stand because it was tucked away in the hanging cupboard. Your excellent staff deserve some extra help because they have too much on their plates. The place is understaffed. Good value for money.

We only stayed for 1 night, hotel was very quiet before Christmas. Staff were friendly, a little slow at the bar area. I think short staffed so lucky it was quiet. Clean room, breakfast and service was good. Lots of choice and nothing too much trouble.

This is a good hotel on the outskirts of town. Set on industrial estate so not the best outlook. No restaurants within easy walking distance. To town centre 30 to 4p minutes walk. To train stayion 20 to 30 minutes walk. Beware if eat in hotel restaurant adds extra 15% "tray charge" is added . Does not mention on website abd limited choice. Good selection at breakfast.Rooms have air conditioning. I would not be prepared to pay full price given location etc , however since had room at a discounted price ok. Hotel seems to be poplar with business people.

What's great about this hotel is the people. They are consistently positive, friendly, polite, helpful and enthusiastic. The hotel itself was built in 1988 but has been refurbished and refreshed. It's well-maintained and clean, if a little eccentric. It's close to the M40 and local attractions. The downside is the nearby location—no restaurants beyond McDonald's are within easy walking distance although plenty are within driving distance.

Third time we've stayed here now and it's still as nice as the first. Staff are really friendly and helpful, and the room has always been comfortable and clean. Breakfast is amazing with loads of choice, and for me the coffee from the machine was very nice, which is fab because I've had some awful stuff in other places. I was involved in the national bowls finals and would recommend it to anyone for that event. Very easy access to Victoria Park and you approach the car park from the right side of town. Thanks again for a lovely stay, we will be back.

I would like to start by saying the staff were excellent, they went above and beyond and would be a credit to any company. However, I will never stay at this Holiday Inn again. The food was dreadful, you have to order it via an app and to add insult to injury you are automatically charged a service charge. The only service was bringing the food from the kitchen to the table. The hotel ran out of white wine. If you order a Kopperberg at the bar and have ice, there is an additional charge of £2.41 for "ice and pouring" We had one pack of 3 custard cream biscuits that were on the bed when we arrived on the Friday (there were 2 of us staying in the room), I ate the biscuits on the Friday night. We made our bed when we went out on the Saturday morning, when we got back someone had been laying on it and obviously watching TV as the TV remote was now under the duvet and the pillow was all creased. I could go on but I really don't have the inclination as I doubt what I say will make any difference.

Check in was easy, room was clean, not much room between beds. Beds and pillows were rock hard, very uncomfortable sleep. There was a machine humming all night from outside. Breakfast was ok, but items were not replenished too quickly, heard people having to ask if they had any more of this or that.
